When I first joined this site, I was quite lonely and definitely had my heart open for any possibility of a relationship that may lead to marriage. I was told over and over again from various naysayers that this is not a dating site. However, I know better.

There have been a few other marriages whose initial relationship was forged on Christian Chat. I pray that this all works out for you both and the glory of God. It could be a wonderful and blessed thing for sure.

You just never know who you are going to meet, especially on this site.

Not a dating site? Yeah, you both know better too.

@CarriePie was actually the one who told me about you and your wife's story on here. I was like, "That's us too!" We are looking forward to the day that we'll be united as one in marriage.
Neither of us came here looking for anyone. We were both seeking fellowship due to loneliness ourselves. She had no idea what I looked like, and she was using an outdated photo of herself at the time, so I didn't know what she really looked like either.
I created an October is demonic thread, and in her mind, she was like, "Who is this guy bashing my favorite month of the year?"
We communicated a little bit, and she and a bunch of the Christian Chat members made me realize that October isn't such a bad month after all. They really turned a month that I had a lot of past trauma, into a month that I can actually enjoy again...then there was a political thread about Kamala Harris, and I randomly, jokingly said that Koala Harris should climb up a tree and eat thistles, or maybe I just said Koala Harris with no real thought to it, @CarriePie replied to my comment and it felt like we talked for a month straight after that. The rest is history.

On the weekend after a long walk with my dog I was craving something sweet...
So "Vicarage's emergency supply" is what I decided to make.
Basically just whipped cream and cookies, banana, and chocolate. It is usually done with what ever you can find from the cupboards.. don't know if this mess has a real English name ..

No wonder you would need a printer/typewriter.. 😆 Even I, as a baker, would not be able to write that much in a cake.😝
Why not just write "gift" 😁
Wait, you are a baker by profession? Wow, I'm imperessed! On the one hand, for the patience and precision the job requires, and on the other, because of the working times. (y)

And I was starting to think I'd have to go ask a baker how to fit so much text on a cake. Well, then I really need to keep it shorter... 😁

I had a lot of those when I lived in Maine for 8 years. Whoppie pies are in demand in Maine.
I've actually never heard of them until I met @CarriePie . I was like, "A whoopee pie? huh." The only time I've ever heard of the term whoopee was on the show reruns of "The Dating Game" on the Game Show Channel on cable TV, back in the 90's or early 2000's. I think I also heard it on "The Newlywed Show" as well, back then.

Yeah, there is also Whoopi Goldberg, but she is basically irrelevant.

Precision.. 🙈 How should I say this...😆 Little bit of this.. or a bit more.. Maybe because I am more of a bread baker than a confectionery baker. Even tho, I do have a confectioners stamp on me too.. just haven't practised that so much.
In this week I just skipped making sheet cakes (said to my boss, that my coworker can make them ..without my coworker knowing it 😁), and that is just because there is no creativity in making those; it has to be a certain kind.

But you weren't so off the charts with a printer, there are edible prints that one can put to a cake
Actual confectioner might be able to pull everything onto a cake by hand. But I also think many home bakers are wayyy more advanced in cake (and stuff) making than bread bakers might be. 😀

Yesterday, after volley ball (hungry of course) I went to do some groceries, there also was a pizza place.. oh my goodness did that pizza smell delicious!🍕 I heard they make a really good pizza, haven't tried it yet..

So, naturally I go to do my shopping and buy the next best snack to stop my salt gravings... seaweed!!
