1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Jas 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Jas 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Jas 2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
Jas 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

1Jn 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Rom 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

We are saved by faith and not by works when we first confess Christ for that is all we can do.

But when we are saved we have to allow the Spirit to lead us to do works and if we do not do those works we are not saved.

People say we are not saved by works but if they do not do works then their faith is no good.

That is because you are responsible to maintain your salvation.

Works is a requirement and God is not going to twist your arm to do works so it has to come from you.

1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Jas 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Charity, love in action, works, is greater than faith.

And faith works by love.

No love then no faith.

And love is only valid in works.

1Ti 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
1Ti 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Mat 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Mat 19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Act 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
Act 4:34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
Act 4:35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

The love of money is the root of all evil because it neglects the poor and needy, and love is the fulfilling of the law.

People that go by their wants above their needs violate this and have erred from the faith.

That is why Jesus told the rich man to sell all he has and give to the poor and then he could have eternal life.

Which the early Church did this.

The first Church in Revelation 2 left their first love that they were neglecting this and Jesus told them repent of it and do the first works which the main thing is to love people by helping them with their needs.

So we have to have works or there is no salvation.

But many people that say we are not saved by works love money and go by their wants so they lack works then their faith is no good.

True faith has the right perspective of God's kingdom that it is love and act accordingly.

To violate love there is no faith for charity is greater than faith.

seriously, ( I hear self works forming through you) "I" have to do, as you believe you have to
Not what Father has revealed to me. I made the free choice and chose to love all as Father has through Son for us all
Romans 2:1-4, Romans 14:1-4. Matthew 18:24-35, Luke 18:9-14

At first it was works to work. Which never worked, did at times, so it seemed, yet did not work Romans 6,7,8 especially 7
Calling my statement "self works" is a judgment call--not a biblical statement. Jesus' Gospel plainly called for "repentance," which was not a call to "self works." Becoming judgmental is not going resolve theological issues--it just divides.

But when we are saved we have to allow the Spirit to lead us to do works and if we do not do those works we are not saved.
I do not see I jave to. I see saw I chose to, thanking Father and Son in doing it first, for me to decide and be new with them as won too

Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Can we see further in the verses after these verses are For it is Father God that does the new work through you. I see it takes me to be willing, anyone else? Are we willing? The same as Son did going. to that cross without any fight of flesh back at anyone? Wow, woe is me Isaiah 6:1-7

Amen a million times over and over again and again
Grace was and is never ever meant to be taken for granted to harm anyone else ever again, Thank you Father the only righteous one, that shares this righteousness with his children, thank you I zm still in process, learn g new daily thank you

I see you are adding to scripture, works of self and other flesh leading you. The works James is speaking of are the done work of Son for us all to choose to believe God or not. Then in thankful response love all, not a few as only the first born flesh can do. Only loves those that love them back, when God loves us all

We are still left to choose to do as led by Father and Son as Won for us or not. God does not take away anyone's free will choice. that remains an awesome gift and proves to me God loves, without being a tyrant as evil is that.

Today, choose life or death, thank you make the choice. Stop being like a wave of the sea, in one day, out the next day and following others. Like Peter who did not understand and denied Son three times as Jesus said he would, as by God he remained by God forgiven as continues in love and mercy to us all, thank you God! The one that understands the weak flesh. I am not Holy, God is. God shares this Holiness.
I am not righteous. "I" am not able to be. God did it, God gets all the credit, not anyone else, you decide I have.
Yet by God's done work of Son, "I" am righteous, not by me ever. By God for me, who I trust and stand in beleif to this love of Son given us all to stand in
1 John 2:1-27 Col 1:21-23, then the freedom Col 2

I did not judge, I said I see possibly forming in you.
I have not condemned you since God has not condemned me as I deserve to be condemned and all mankind. thank you I was just sharing in care to be careful, thanks

Faith is defined clearly in Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see (NIV).
Te Greek literally says Faith is the foundation of things hoped for; the evidence of things not [yet] seen.

I like to use the analogy of a buildings foundation. We notice earthworks happening and concrete foundations being poured to lay a buildings foundation, and we believe that a building will appear there in time. The presence of the foundations is evidence for the eventual arrival of a building.

When we have faith in a promise from God, that faith itself is the evidence we have that the outcome believed is coming to pass. If the that faith dies, the evidence dies and the outcome most often stops coming to pass. The building upon faith toward that outcome ceases.

Having faith that something is true means having more faith in that than we have faith in any other competing option, so that we act as if that strongest belief is true, speaking and behaving in harmony with that professed belief..

Thank you for the reminder of the foundation, as I speak out, God just loves us all y'all amazing!

No other person can build any other foundation than Jesus Christ, who first in his willing death took away all sin for us all, in his Father's sight.
John 19:30, it is finished, done for us to be new in the risen life, not the dead life. God is God of the living, Son is alive forever, no more sacrifices for forgiveness to ever be given again, not from Daddy, PaPa, Father's view. Yet is from religions. Not Father or Son. by them It is Finished, all are forgiven at the cross in the last shedding of blood for forgiveness t get given that is done. yet that does not constitute new life, it is only forgiven reconciled, to get given from Father new life installed, in the risen Son, thank you very much Father!
The reason, this finished work got done, was/is to be able to have a real fellowship with Father without anymore fear of death. Over whether or not anyone is well enough, no one in first birth is born well enough. All flesh at first birth is born as dead to God, because of Adam the first, now having Adam the second who by Father gives new life, called born again by God Father and Son. The Gift, thank you very much Father!
Yet, first birth is not dead to other first birth's. Yet to God are (not having God's spirit and Truth leading through them yet) until one, anyone decides to believe God in Son is risen for them. Son took away all sin as said would do in John 1:29, before the crucifixion. Then Jesus yelled it is finished and gave up the flesh. Paul saw this and so understood and said in Gal 2:20 what it is. I am crucified (dead) yet I am alive, yet not by me, by God for me. A 100% dependency on Father with Son the two as won for him to be new and was and wrote all about it in the Epistles to us all, God loves us all, period, believe, receive and see new thank you

Amazing, Jesus claimed what he was here in the flesh as Son to do. Matthew 5:17 to fulfill Law and the Prophets that prophesied his coming, that was not understood yet, until after the resurrection and still not fathomed by many, not really even the disciples yet, not at first. So God got Saul and Saul changed to Paul from under Law to upholding Law, and speaks of this throughout all the Epistles he wrote
in God's love and mercy for us all, carried on the love and mercy that Son did and even said to continue to do John 13:34

Love all, yes, even those that do not love you back and fight, kick and scream at you over you wanting trying to help them, and end up not doin g it with the old self man in the way. Oh how many times I have done that and am learning. from God to standout of the way of God's done work of Son for us all
Thank you learning still new, thank you a thousand times over for you forgiving us all first by you Father and Son at that cross where reconciliation for all happened and is done for all to decide to believe seriously or not yet. Wow
Isaiah 6:1-7
