"It is a historical fact that the power behind the Nazi regime was the Jesuit Order. Hitler himself said that he learned everything from the Jesuits and modeled his SS after them. The Holocaust was a modern-day Inquisition, a sacrifice carried out by the Papacy through their puppets to get rid of the 'heretics' and the Jews who stood in the way of their ultimate goal of world domination. The world thinks it was just politics, but it was a deeply spiritual and occult conspiracy."

"If we look at the sanctuary, we see it is a mathematical and scientific blueprint for the human body and the plan of salvation. When we follow the steps of the priest, we are following a chemical and biological process. The gospel is not just a story; it is a math equation where you have to balance the scales of the sanctuary to reach perfection. Every step from the altar to the ark is a calculated move that proves God is a mathematician. If you miss one part of the equation, like the Sabbath or the Investigative Judgment, the whole math of your salvation fails."
Ivor Myers, The Blueprint (Series), Lecture: The Math of the Gospel

"The Third Angel’s Message is actually a warning about genetic engineering and the manipulation of the human genome by Satan. The 'Mark of the Beast' is a spiritual and biological alteration that happens when you reject the Seal of God. God is trying to preserve the original DNA of His people through the health message and the Sabbath, while the enemy is trying to create a hybrid race that cannot be saved. The sanctuary shows us the map of our own DNA and how to keep it pure for the second coming."
Ivor Myers, The Blueprint: The Genetic War (3ABN Broadcast)

"The United Nations is not what it appears to be. It is the outer shell for a deeply occult organization that is preparing the world for a New World Order. If you go into the meditation room of the UN, you will find it is designed for the worship of the 'Great Architect' of the universe, which is a Masonic term for Lucifer. They are bringing all religions together under the umbrella of the Papacy to enforce a global system that will eventually lead to the persecution of those who keep the true Sabbath."

Why bother with context when there is an agenda to attend to.

Statements about separation (historical context)

1. Interracial marriage discouraged
From Selected Messages, Book 2, p. 343:
“The white and the black should not intermarry… Such a marriage would result in… humiliation upon the children…”

Focus:
Concern about social consequences
Reflects realities of racial hostility at the time

2. Separate institutions advised
From Testimonies for the Church, Volume 9, pp. 206–208:
“The colored people should not urge themselves into the society of the white people… They should have their own places of worship…”Focus:
Avoiding violence and backlash
Protecting the mission work in the South
Statements about equality (core theological principles)

I wonder why these quotes were left out. Exactly what they do with all of her teachings. It’s not about trying to understand, it’s about condemning no matter the circumstances. Thankfully our Judge is the only one who knows the hearts of others and the only Judgement that matters. That we will each have to face one day soon. Ecc12:13-14

1. Equality in creation and redemption
“All are of one family by creation, and all are one through redemption.”

Meaning:
Same Creator
Same Savior
Same value before God

2. Equal opportunity and treatment
From Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 223:
“The colored people are to be given the same opportunities as the white people.”

Meaning:
No second-class status in God’s work
Equal access to education, ministry, and salvation

3. No caste or race in Christ
“Christ came to break down every wall of partition… that every soul… may have free access to God.” This reflects the same principle found in:

Galatians 3:28
Acts 17:26
How these fit together
Her consistent theology:
All humans are equal before God
Salvation is for every race
Prejudice is wrong

Her practical counsel (in the U.S. South):
Avoid actions that would:
Trigger violence
Shut down gospel work
Sometimes this meant temporary separation

The key distinction
Category Nature of teaching
Equality statements Timeless theological principles
Separation counsel Context-based practical advice

The separation statements are tied to a dangerous historical setting.
The equality statements reflect her core, consistent theology.
She did not teach racial inequality before God, even though some of her counsel reflects the realities of her time.

I would love for people 150 years from now to judge us based on what we are doing by standards in the future.

Mat7:1 “Judge[a] not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

I will pray for you.

You left a part out: “for the Lord has not given any such permission.” Since when? Was Moses not married to a Cushite. Did God not strike Miriam with leprosy when she spoke against it? Does the Lord not consider all equal?

So worshipping Jesus isn’t worth persecution. I wonder how our fellow believers in the Islamic countries and in North Korea would feel about the idea that worshipping together isn’t worth persecution. If the sabbath is a life or death issue, why was equality treated as a temporary compromise?

The Bible is the ultimate counselor and the unerring standard by which all ideas, including those of science and any other teaching, must be tested.
The testimonies given by the Lord never contradict His Word, as God never contradicts Himself.

So if EGW was inspired by God, she will not contradict the bible.

But every church has different beliefs
Secret rapture
Zionists
Calvanism
Hell and death.
Which day is the holy sabbath... etc.

So EGW will only line up with the bible beliefs of one church.

Every other church will say she is wrong.
That's expected.

When Jesus did not teach what the Pharisees liked they killed Him.

So many prophets in the past were hated because they didn't teach what the people wanted to hear.

From my reading of E Whites books I have been drawn much closer to Jesus and it has helped me greatly in my Christian walk.

I have seen things unfold as predicted and it isn't the prophecy that I get the greatest blessing from. It is the council and instruction in walking with Jesus that I thank God for..

I recommend "Steps to Christ". It is a great book.

Ellen White said...
That Which Contradicts God's Word Is Guesswork—He who has a knowledge of God and His word has a settled faith in the divinity of the Holy Scriptures. He does not test the Bible by man's ideas of science. He brings these ideas to the test of the unerring standard. He knows that God's word is truth, and truth can never contradict itself; whatever in the teaching of so-called science contradicts the truth of God's revelation is mere human guesswork.—Testimonies for the Church 8:325 (1904).

All articles of faith, all doctrines and creeds, however sacred they have been regarded, are to be rejected if they contradict the plain statements of the word of God. If the Bible supports the doctrine we have held in the past, we are justified in retaining it; for the word of God gives us foundation for our faith. The Review and Herald March 25, 1902, paragraph 5

When the power of God testifies to what is truth, that truth is to stand forever, and no suppositions contrary to the light God has given are to be entertained. While new light may be developed over time, it will never contradict or make of none effect the light given in the past.

Do you really believe the devil would say this following statement....

I would exhort the church to encourage faith and talk faith and act faith. This experience through which you are passing is of God to give you a genuine experience in the things of God. Putting on the robe of humility, we must take our position as learners in the school of Christ. If we will listen to His words to be repeated to us in this age of this earth's history, there must be silence in the soul; the clamorous pretensions to self-sufficiency must be cut away from our life. Learn of Me, says Christ, for I am meek and lowly of heart and ye shall find rest to your soul.

Maybe not purist in some eyes, but both were elders in their associated churches. I think it's fair to have a different view on some topics of the church, but still be a full fledged member. You disagree?
I go to an Anglican church, but I'm not Anglican. I was a member of a Baptist church for several years. I don't agree with all Baptist doctrine either. There is a difference between minor disagreements and rejection of core doctrines. I put SDA and Roman Catholicism in the latter category. That's somewhat ironic, considering SDA's attitude to Catholicism.

At heart, SDA is Christ plus law. Paul railed against exactly that. I don't say that adherence to either denomination's beliefs disqualifies someone from salvation. I do say that it becomes a religious straight jacket that greatly hinders their walk with Christ - if they are are born again in reality, that is.

And yes, I know that there are countless unsaved Baptists, Pentecostals, Methodists and so on. Right doctrine saves no one. That's not the point. SDA claims a spiritual superiority that is based on false understanding of God's word and the words of a false prophet. SDA brings nothing of spiritual value to the body of Christ and leads some into legalism and bondage.

I like It Is Written too. :)

I think a lot of people will feel the way you did about the Sabbath as it becomes more prominent in the future. I think there will be a lot of people as well after sadly, it will be too late Rev22:11 The fact there is SO much contention behind the one commandment God said Remember, shows there is a real spiritual war over God's Sabbath and someone doing everything they can to prevent God's people from keeping it. Rev12:17 Sadly people do not seem to realize which side they are representing. What spirit the accuser of the brethern comes from and why he doesn't want us to join ourselves to the LORD. God invited everyone Isa56:6 He wants to bless everyone Isa56:2. People don't really fully understand what they are rejecting. Exo20:11 Mar 2:28 Rev14:7

Nice.

It's a mystery for sure. The SDA church has a great testimony, it's a pity it isn't embraced by other denominations more. That guy from the Doug bachelor video you posted, was from an evangelical church, SDA are the second fastest growing church outside of America, so you would think that maybe he would be some what impressed with this known accomplishment, but no. lol

Why specifically? Because SDA keeps the Sabbath?

You mean having the testimony of Jesus and keeping HIS commandments? Do you feel the same way about Messianic Jewish faith also, or this special branding is just for the SDA church?

SDA claims a spiritual superiority that is based on false understanding of God's word and the words of a false prophet. SDA brings nothing of spiritual value to the body of Christ and leads some into legalism and bondage.

Please be specific. What claims of SDA is false? Why is Ellen White a false prophet? Specifics please. This isn't star wars where you can just waive your hand about, and do Jedi mind tricks. Please be specific. Text preferred and if you post a video, type specific points you are referring to. If not.....I will conclude, that it's just hate with no basis. Thanks!

Be specific about which teaching the SDA church teaches that is not biblical.

Don't say legalism or law keeping because the church does not teach that the keeping of the law can save you.

The church teaches salvation by faith In the grace of Jesus.

The keeping of the law is the person's loving response to Jesus because they don't want to sin (sin = pain and is what caused Jesus to die) and want to reflect the character of Jesus.

Claims that are false: annihilation of the unsaved after death.
Soul sleep. The story of the rich man and Lazarus prove those doctrines to be false.

Sabbath worship. Not New Testament teaching or practice.

Legalism. SDA teaches that God saves people so that they can go back under the Law of Moses. This is contrary to New Testament teaching. (Ellen G. White, Special Testimony to Battle Creek Church, pg. 32 (PHO86 32.1))
Those who do not obey the law (and who does?) cannot enter the City of God. (Ellen G. White, Letters & Manuscripts, Vol. 15, Manuscript 23, 1900)

According to White, only those who achieve sinless perfection will be rewarded with eternal life. According to SDA doctrine, a person is pardoned but placed on “parole,” with final justification ultimately depending on one’s ability to perfectly keep the Ten Commandments—a teaching that contradicts the biblical message of salvation by grace through faith. (A summary of EG White, "Review & Herald, May 28, 1901")

The SDA basis for salvation is false. Jesus came that we might have Life, not the ability to keep the 10 commandments. Since SAD have no assurance of salvation, it is no wonder that they harp on about the Law.

In one sense they are right. God did not give Law that is impossible to keep. However, the sin nature from Adam rebels against God's ways. That is why we need to be born again. But the emphasis on law is false. Once we are born again, we live by a new principle, the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ - not in Moses.

SDA have an answer for everything, course. So do Roman Catholic theologians. Their answers do not stand up to Biblical truth. You can prove many things by cherry picking scripture and distorting the meaning of others.

God said If you love Me, keep My commandments Exo20:6 so doing what God asks is "work" and bad? Its sad how the Testimony of God gets so distorted. Keeping God's commandments are His works Exo32:16 what He made for us to walk in Eph2:10 by the power of His Spirit John14:15-18

The 4th commandment is the only commandment that reveals the God we are to worship. Written personally by God spoken by God, God's own Testimony.

Exo 20:8“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9;Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10;but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11;For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

The LORD never wants us to forget our Creator and where we came from why He said "Remember" as the Sabbath is a memorial to His creative power and works.

Its why the devil has been attacking this commandment in every direction he can because he wants us to worship him, not our Creator who made.

Isa 14:12 “How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
13For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation

On the farthest sides of the north;
14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’

The mount of congregation is the church. Lucifer can't make heaven and earth he is confined to this earth so what does he do against God and the people of God. He sits on the mount of the church and counterfeited the commandment that points to our Creator.

As predicted in Daniel

Dan 7:25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and law.

The only commandment that is both a time and law that has to do with worship (mount of the congregation) is the 4th commandment. And was it changed as predicted? Yes history reveals this plainly and those ones who changed it boast about it, they claim it was changed by the sense of their authority above the Bible - this change is a mark of their authority over God's.

It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church.
—Priest Brady, in an address, reported in the Elizabeth, NJ ‘News’ on March 18, 1903.
Question: Which is the Sabbath day?
Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day.

Question: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
Answer: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.
—Rev. Peter Geiermann C.SS.R., The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, p. 50
. you may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify.
—The Faith of Our Fathers, by James Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore, 88th edition, page 89. Originally published in 1876, republished and Copyright 1980 by TAN Books and Publishers, Inc., pages 72-73.
Deny the authority of the Church and you have no adequate or reasonable explanation or justification for the substitution of Sunday for Saturday in the Third - Protestant Fourth - Commandment of God... The Church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.'
—Catholic Record, September 1, 1923.
Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act. And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.
—C. F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons, in answer to a letter regarding the change of the Sabbath, November 11, 1895

And they even admit where it came from

...pastoral intuition suggested to the Church the christianization of the notion of Sunday as "the day of the sun", which was the Roman name for the day and which is retained in some modern languages.(29) This was in order to draw the faithful away from the seduction of cults which worshipped the sun, and to direct the celebration of the day to Christ, humanity's true 'sun'.
—John Paul II, Dies Domini, 27. The day of Christ-Light, 1998 (Prominent protestant leaders agree with this statement - See here for a statement by Dr. E. T. Hiscox, author of the ‘Baptist Manual’)
The Sun was a foremost god with heathen-dom…The sun has worshippers at this hour in Persia and other lands…. There is, in truth, something royal, kingly about the sun, making it a fit emblem of Jesus, the Sun of Justice. Hence the church in these countries would seem to have said, to 'Keep that old pagan name [Sunday]. It shall remain consecrated, sanctified.' And thus the pagan Sunday, dedicated to Balder, became the Christian Sunday, sacred to Jesus.
—William Gildea, Doctor of Divinity, The Catholic World, March, 1894, p. 809
The retention of the old pagan name of Dies Solis, for Sunday is, in a great measure, owing to the union of pagan and Christian sentiment with which the first day of the week was recommended by Constantine to his subjects - pagan and Christian alike - as the 'venerable' day of the sun.
—Arthur P. Stanley, History of the Eastern Church, p. 184

Which God said is the greatest abomination
Eze 8:15Then He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, you will see greater abominations than these.” 16So He brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house; and there, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east.
Turning their backs to God's temple and worshipping the sun, instead of the Creator.

No wonder why we are told in Revelations by Jesus

Rev 17:3 And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4;The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of And on her forehead a name was written:

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS
OF THE EARTH.

Why we are in the last days and told to come out of these false teachings

Rev 18:4And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
And back to worshipping our CREATOR

Rev 14:7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
Exo 20::11;For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Ellen G. White was an incredibly prolific author, writing approximately 25 million words throughout her 70-year ministry. Her work, which totaled around 100,000 manuscript pages, includes over 5,000 periodical articles, hundreds of pamphlets, and dozens of books that are still in print.

The Great Controversy is one of the most distributed books ever in over 130 languages.

You really need to read these books before you make up your minds..

There are lots of people saying negative things (fault finding) but that's what happens when you promote the truth.

Most of Hitler's senior officials were deep into the occult. Hitler despised religion generally. The only religion he had time for was Islam. Many people conflate National Socialism and Fascism. They are not the same. It was Spain's dictator Franco who claimed that Fascism was most like Rome. That's not surprising. Mussolini founded Fascism.

Hitler had around 150 Jesuit priests killed. There were Nazi supporters in both the Lutheran and Catholic churches. The German leadership was said to admire Jesuit order and discipline, but that's as far as it went.

The link is to one source I found, but it's not the first time I've looked at the role of Jesuits during the Nazi occupation of Europe. The source comes to similar conclusions to my previous research. I was reasonable sure that the Jesuits were complicit in the holocaust, based on some anti Catholic people I'd heard. However, I wanted to be sure as I hate spreading false information. I was surprised when I discovered the truth.

Most have never read one of her books, just go by what they read on the internet.

In Jesus day, they didn't have the internet, it was word of mouth- Did you hear Jesus broke the "sabbath", He is claiming to be God. The Chief Pharisee and the Priest said so. Did you see Him heal that person on the Sabbath- lets watch Him closely so we can accuse Him.

Its the same spirit, sadly. If we judged every character in Scripture- David committed adultery, Noah drunkenness, Abraham lied, Jacob deceived his brother, Moses murdered, Solomon idolatry, Peter denied Jesus, controlled by Satan- but than we need to look at our own life, its easier to throw stones at others than look at ourselves.

How easy would it be for someone 150 years from now pick apart the smallest thing, take it out of context from someone they don't know and never read one of her books. I am not worried about EGW in Judgement day. If she was wrong, God will be the one to Judge because He is the only one who truly knows another heart. From reading a few of her books all I see is the love she had for God and wanting to get people back to His word. She always pointed people back to God's Word and the only authority.

Jesus speaking
Mat 12:36;But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

If this makes people happy, let them, God will sort it out in His time. Its what we were warned Rev12:17

in the meantime- Happy Sabbath and I pray you all have a Blessed day! :)

Nice.

It's a mystery for sure. The SDA church has a great testimony, it's a pity it isn't embraced by other denominations more.
Is it really a pity that is isn’t embraced by those that SDA claims are hellbound?
SDA are the second fastest growing church outside of America, so you would think that maybe he would be some what impressed with this known accomplishment, but no. lol
Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. Does that impress you? Does the growth of Mormonism over SDA impress you? Should we also point out the SDA have on of the worst retention rates due to legalistic burnout and people realizing their prophet is a false prophet?

Claims that are false: annihilation of the unsaved after death.
Soul sleep. The story of the rich man and Lazarus prove those doctrines to be false.

Sabbath worship. Not New Testament teaching or practice.
We have had whole threads on these teachings.

The bible clearly teaches that the dead know nothing. And soul sleep is what Jesus taught. But if you disagree with multiple verses that proves soul sleep because of one parable that Jesus taught for a different lesson, it is your choice.
It makes perfect sense to me.

How do you explain Lazarus
Joh 11:11-14
11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. 12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. 13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

Was Lazarus in heaven or asleep, dead, knowing nothing. ??

The bible does not contradict itself.

And as for the sabbath day.
Much has already been said. I'll just say The bible does not say it is no longer holy. It is still holy. even when tradition tries to say Sunday is the new Holy day, there is nothing biblical to say that it was changed from the 7th day to any other day.

You may see it as false teachings or errors but we will find out when Jesus comes.
