Jesus was as human as we r so , think on this , he had a life before his ministry . That life would have mostly been ordinary , Joseph probably died , Jesus as the eldest would have had to assume a fatherly role over his siblings , finding husband's / wives for them , supporting them financially , keeping them out of trouble etc etc . All that would have been emotionally hard work and not necessarily without troubles . He experienced the things that most of us do , whilst also living under the tyrannical rule of the Romans , that would have exposed him to some horrible things that he would have had to put up with , Ronan brutality is legendary .I think unlike God the Father, Jesus the Son experienced what it is like to be human and in the flesh, so he knew what it was like to be vulnerable, naked and ashamed and exposed.
God the Father, the almighty never really did. God is spirit, He never gets hurt physically, although I do recall He actually regretted that He made us humans when we misbehaved.
Maybe he fell in love and would have liked to have married but , he would have know that wasn't his path , that can't have been easy . Some people like to down play Jesus's humanity but to me it's massively important . He was tried and tested in every way that we r and yet.....he resisted everything that was not meant for him , knowing that God wanted him for a different purpose . This must have required enormous strength and faith on his part , more than any of us can imagine as we have all sinned and he never ever did ! He always only ever did what God wanted him to do , no matter how hard that was for him , he did it . This was not an emotionless life he lived for sure . How can he understand us unless.....he walked in the flesh in this world and with all the stresses and strains that come with life . He was made perfect through suffering . Why should we not walk the same path ?
