You err by assumption.
Nothing in Scripture says that the world was ever "perfect".
Nothing in Scripture says that humans were "created" as "vegetarians". Do you honestly think God had no idea what would happen? Do you think that human physiology is best suited to the consumption of plants?
Riddle me this, Parrot-Man, why are humans unable to metabolize vitamin B12 from ANY plant source? Why are humans unable to digest insoluble fibre? Why is it that humans can function perfectly well on ONLY meat and fat?
Every logical reasonable informed person knows that humans are NOT naturally vegetarians.
For several decades now, research has consistently found that a vegetarian diet, that is mainly made up of fruits and vegetables, nuts, legumes and wholegrains, can reduce your risk of major diseases and help you live longer.
A team of researchers at Loma Linda University in the United States has shown vegetarian men live for an average of 10 years longer than non-vegetarian men — 83 years compared to 73 years. For women, being vegetarian added an extra 6 years to their lives, helping them reach 85 years on average.
The China Study (2005): Argued that a whole-food, plant-based diet reduces or reverses chronic diseases like heart disease and cancer, leading to longer life.
A global study by experts at the University of Sydney has shown that countries which consume more plant-based proteins – such as chickpeas, tofu and peas – have longer adult life expectancies.
My grandpa loved meat and had lots of meat for dinner every night.
He died of bowel cancer at 55 years of age.
AI states.... "High consumption of red and processed meats is strongly linked to an increased risk of colon (colorectal) cancer. "
As for b12 I'm not a scientist but the bacteria required to change the B12 into a usable form is not in our guts. 6 thousand years of sin has caused great changes in us. We did live for 900 years after sin first entered and were much taller.
As a vegetarian I have no issue with fibre or b12. Educate yourself and you can manage fine.
But like the Israelites that came out of Egypt the flesh is very appealing to our lower natures so most people refuse to let it go and justify eating it.
Num 11:1-4
1 And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: ..... 4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
They only had a vegetarian diet and complained...
Num 11:6 KJV But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.
Moses said ... Num 11:13 Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.
Num 11:18-20
18 And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat. 19 Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days; 20 But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
Num 11:32-34
32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp. 33 And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague. 34 And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.
God gave them meat but He was mad at their lustful condition.
