Never perish is never perish.
No condemnation is no condemnation.

It's NOT a tough issue......Its the basics. It's elementary my dear Watson.

Can you even find life in the scriptures? Or just death?
Not the topic I was discussing in those posts.

The OP is about loss.

Start an OP about life.

They completely reject this truth.

And make light of the Lords discipline.

It is more like they do not even know what the Lord's discipline is and how it works.
They approach God on a very primitive level.
One that God does not relate to.

But the OSAS folks continue to claim it's not possible for a person to lose their salvation

There's been all kinds of people get born again and then live in sin, including preachers that subscribe to OSAS
Do you for a fact that they were born again, or is this an assumption on your part?

The OSAS people mock God claiming if one sows to the flesh (sin) they do not reap corruption as the Lord teaches in His Word (Gal 6:7,8) and they make a mockery of what Jesus teaches in John 15 when He said those IN Him who do not bear fruit are cut off from the vine (taken away).

I'd hate to be one of the OSAS folks on judgement day. It's gonna be brutal for these people

Romans 2:7-11
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
For there is no respect of persons with God.
You completely disregard Gods discipline.....As a BENEVOLENT God.

You are a malevolent creature, and have not given any of us any indication that you know the benevolent CREATOR.

Perseverance and Endurance are synonymous, are they not? The point is, the farmer got what he was after.
They are 2 viable translations for the same word, yes. Surely you know 'perseverance' can be a theologically loaded word, no?

As I say, this is among the many reasons I am not a Calvinist.

Good for you.

Now make sure you aren't being influenced by calvinist doctrine.

I've talked to lots of people who say they are not calvinists and then turn right around and teach calvinist doctrine.

One that God does not relate to.

Says the gnotics teaching false OSAS doctrine.

The old "we have special revelation and you don't" thing of the gnostics

Sadly you OSAS people deny the Lord's warnings as to lead others in to darkness claiming only parts of God's Word should be accepted and the rest can be ignored.

Hebrews 10:28-31
He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

That is why I pointed out that the Farmer got what he wanted, i.e. fruit. The plants grew to maturity, resulting in a crop. In this context, "perseverance or endurance" means to last to the end.

Sure they don't...
Sure they do...
I think He understands and can relate to anything and everything we can think of and say, don't you?

Good for you.

So what? There are other people who don't.
Sadly you OSAS people deny the Lord's warnings as to lead others in to darkness claiming only parts of God's Word should be accepted and the rest can be ignored.
I am not an OSAS person.

Sadly you guys teach cleaning up the flesh(which cannot be done.) And will NOT build a spiritual life.

And completely ignore the Spiritual life......Which will inevitably build a moral life.

Your interpretation is being ignored. Have you not seen the multiple posts about His discipline? It's not pretty, for those who do not obey..................It just is NOT a loss of salvation.

This is applicable to our works. It mentions nothing about living in sin.
Sins will not be mentioned.
For Jesus bore the penalty of sin on the Cross.

Your sins have been judged by God.
He took away the penalty for sins.

Even unbelievers will not be condemned for their sins.
They will be condemned for their rejection of God.

The unbeliever will not have his sins brought up in the final judgment.
All will be evaluated according to their works - not sins.

Revelation 20:12

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened.
And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.
And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written
in the books.

There will be one work searched for and not found for the unbeliever.
That work is?

John 6:28-29
Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe
in Him whom He sent.”
grace and peace....

Romans 11:22
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

First of all, the olive tree metaphor isn't about individual people, it's about generations of people. Second, did you read in that same chapter that God hardened the hearts of Israel? Romans 11:7-8. That sounds like a problem for your view.

Nope...

I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready."
1 Corinthians 3:2

You should not be.

He is stuck in the same rut as you are.

Loss of salvation or not really saved.......He is defending you and your theory in the end/conclusion.

Loss of salvation by no works/fruits/obedience....Loss of salvation.

Not really saved by no works/fruits/obedience......Loss of salvation you THOUGHT you had.

Both are based upon mans works.

Actually believing correctly is yielding to the leading of the Holy Spirit to empower one to have authority and victory over the desires of the flesh and the carnal mind.

Sad you folks don't know much about being spirit filled.
