Hello everyone,
First off thank you to the admins for graciously adding me to this community.

A bit about myself, I am a 45 year old male. I've been a Christian for 30 years, I've been a worship leader musician almost since I came to faith. I've been very blessed to have travelled quite a bit being involved with interdenominational missions organizations over the years.

I currently navigating a new season of solitude as my wife of 20 years and I parted ways almost a year ago. It is bittersweet but I have truly experienced God's manifest blessing in this season and am ever hopeful for the future.

I live out on an acreage by myself now and though God has truly blessed me with great church community and new friends. At times I still feel a bit isolated and long for connection, even if it's just to be an encouragement to others.

I pray God's richest blessings on you all and I am looking forward to connecting. I am pretty much an open book so feel free to reach out.

That's pretty cool. I have been writing praise and worship since the beginning of this year.
I started first by putting old poems to ai generated music, which was then followed by a short
period of collecting Scripture verses around a specific theme before moving into composing
original new material I would call devotional modern praise and worship testimonials.

Coming to faith at fifteen is awesome, though I cannot imagine it for myself.
I left the church of my upbringing at the age of sixteen and converted at the age of 49.

I am sorry to hear of the dissolution of your marriage. Such things are painful.

Is that you singing? Pretty cool.
If you use the "Reply" function, people will know to whom you are speaking. Eh. "Speaking" being a figure of speech, of course. If this question is addressed to me, the answer is no. For one thing I am a woman, and for another, with my COPD, sometimes I can barely get full sentences out let alone sing. I did used to sing and loved it, also played guitar for quite a few years, and same same. Some of my poetry is from some of those years, but there is a lot of water under those bridges... my oldest poetry is close to fifty years old, and I waited a long time to hear some of those pieces being put to music. The music and voice are ai generated with me directing them as much as I can trying to make it sound like something decent, which, as I now tell people, is like herding cats. A number of my pieces I generated over a hundred versions of. One was over 140. Herding cats I tell you! 😅 Some of my older poetry I have augmented with new material from my perspective as a Christian. This is one of my faves for that, and it is also one of those which I generated over a hundred versions of before getting this one:

And even at that, the ai dropped the last three lines of my song! Ha. Sometimes what "they" do is maddening. That is a song I built a lot of spaces into with vocalizations to prevent rushing through certain words, like, abyssal, broken, charred... one version the ai decided to take them all out of where I had placed them, make a verse of their own for them, then it continued to race through the words I had built spaces between. Haha. Another of my earlier pieces I had to bump to 120 BPM to stop the ai from repeatedly turning it into a funeral dirge. LOL. I also repeatedly asked for a coyote howl at the beginning of the song and never got it, so I took it into an audio editing program to add myself after sourcing it from Pixabay. That is my Cactus Flower song, which is also augmented from its original form from the late 80s... another of my original poems/songs for which I generated over a hundred versions before going with the salsa flavoured Flamenco style which is what I| got after bumping the BPM so high.... It grew on me :giggle:
