When Galadriel's blondeness like Princess Irulan subliminally triggers your Dune nerdom at the mention of the future space travel in a perfect example of the Bene Gesserit Voice technique and you just can't help yourself....

I’m pretty sure they’ve already had this kind of travel…. Lol

Oh and then TD coming in like Paul Atreides the subliminal trigger for the old cult classic movie version at that. Yes my freewill has been subverted these cognitive commands are too strong, must, post, Dune intro.

"The spice is vital for space travel. The spice enables the spacing guild navigators whom have been mutated over thousands of years to fold time and space, that is to say, travel to any part of the known universe without moving...... Oh and I forgot to mention the spice is found on only one planet in the entire universe a desolate and dry planet.......also known as Dune!"

CC wasn’t aboard with my response, so I’m gonna have another go at it. 300 years is a long time if you accept the premise that we are humans living on a planet with no interference from any simulation.

It's long enough to cancel technology as you know it too and go back to the dark ages, or perhaps forward to the actual Apocalypse.
