You post was about our obligation to the Ten. Bestiality isn’t of the Decalogue, it is covered in the Book of the Law. As are many other teachings that tell us what sin is.
That would be covered under adultery- our LORD showed how wide that commandment covered- connecting thoughts of lust with adultery. All of them are very broad Psa 119:96 Jesus showed an examples of two of them but it applies to all Ten Mat5:19

My mind is made up because of the research I’ve read and the experiments I’ve done myself with eating food.

I agree Adam was probably healthier but again you say “I know” when we have zero evidence of Adam’s health. You believe that because white claimed that Adam was twice as tall and had 20 times the vital force. Baseless claims from a false prophet. Just as vegetarianism being better is a baseless claim from the same false prophet.

Another baseless claim. Science never once taught that smoking was good for us. Lack of evidence against smoking was not evidence for it. And lobotomy isn’t removing part of the brain. It is severing the connection to the prefrontal cortex. Was it good? Of course not but without medications, other surgical options, or dietary research, it was seen as being better than keeping people confined in a straight jacket for the rest of their life.

Let’s look at who was the first to kill an animal on earth. That would be God Himself. Who was the first to favor meat over fruit? That would be God Himself. Who commanded that people eat meat for thousands of years? That would be God Himself. Get out of your sop and read the Bible. If you want to further expand your dietary knowledge, read actual research not just a flawed sda study.

Trust me I’m well aware of how diets can affect us mentally. I would be less worried about how a diet can affect me and more worried about how following a false prophet can affect me if I were you. A diet will affect this life. Following a false prophet will affect eternity.

This thread is over 6,000 posts into an argument over the 10 commandments. Plain scripture has been shown that we are no longer under mosaic law. You and your SDA friends refuse to take your ellen white goggles off and see any of it. Your mind is already made up.
When the Bible is the source of the debate you can not say we are using EWhites teachings. The Bible is from God and the verses shown are being rejected by people so stop using the denomination and EWhite as a pushing bag and excuse to reject GODS WORD.
God's word is clear and your claims are rejecting the truth.

Jas 2:10-12
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
Rom 3:30-31
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Isa 66:22-23
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
Rev 12:17, 14:12, 22:14.

If you don't believe she is a prophet of God, so be it. That is your choice but God will reveal the Truth. Many people were sure that Jesus was a false prophet in His day.

Be careful ... in your wisdom.

1Co 3:18-21
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. 20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. 21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

I agree, God did kill the first animal and told people to eat meat.

I am not against this in general. But I know that these changes were a result of SIN
SIN = DEATH.

Jesus was killed because of sin and the innocent animals died as an example of what Jesus would suffer for our sin.

I live on a farm and I sometimes need to kill (which I hate) my chickens because of defects and problems they suffer.
But this is another example of sin...

Please, please never compare your false prophet with God.

2Cor3:3 from tablets of stone (only the Ten Commandments) to tablets of the heart.
Where do you get “from tablets of stone” from 2Cor 3:3

“And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ ‭ESV‬‬

the rest of the law of Moses are from the 10, if you follow these and Have the Holy Spirit, there is no way you would think if doing such a thing. However I agree that other laws that are good can certainly be kept and should.

No they are not

2Cor3:3 from tablets of stone (only the Ten Commandments) to tablets of the heart.
Deut 29 and 30 and the study on it Not 2cor 3.

FYI I am an sda.

2 Corinthians 3:3 does not say just the ten is in The heart.

Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

That’s all you got from that? What’s it say about the new covenant?

Do you think God wants us to offer lambs today and keep the laws that are shadows of the coming Messiah?

The ceremonial system of animal sacrifices was a "shadow" that met its "substance" in Jesus Christ; therefore, when He died on the cross as the true Lamb of God, the symbol reached its fulfillment and ceased to be of force.

These laws were not the permanent moral standard, but a "schoolmaster" to lead us to Christ.

Hebrews 10:1: For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

We no longer offer lambs because the "Type" (the animal) met the "Antitype" (Jesus). The blood of animals could never actually take away sin; it only showed the sinner's faith in the coming Sacrifice of the Son of God.

John 1:29: The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Hebrews 10:4: For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

1Pe 1:18-19
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

When Jesus cried out "It is finished" and yielded up His life, the ceremonial system of ordinances and handwriting was abolished. At that exact moment, God showed that the earthly temple service was over by tearing the veil that separated the people from the Most Holy Place.

Matthew 27:50-51: Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom...

Colossians 2:14: Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.
Ephesians 2:15: Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of two one new man, so making peace.

In the old system, sacrifices had to be offered daily and yearly. However, Jesus offered Himself once for all time. To continue offering lambs today would be a denial of Christ’s finished work, as it would suggest we are still waiting for a Redeemer to come.

Hebrews 9:12: Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Hebrews 9:26: ..but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Hebrews 10:18: Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Because the ceremonial law was removed, our focus has shifted from an earthly sanctuary to a heavenly one where Jesus now serves as our High Priest.

Hebrews 8:1-2: Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

Isn't it wonderful to know that we can go directly to Jesus, our perfect sacrifice and Savior? Whenever we pray, we are looking to the One who fulfilled every type and shadow for us!

Did you read the post? From your question here I am not sure you did. Here is a copy that i posted on FB. It Should be the same

My friends it isn't Just the Ten Commandments God has placed in our hearts through Christ. Jeremiah 31:31 says the Law not Commandments. And not just the Ten.
The first mentioning of the New Covenant was actually in Deut 29:1 in the land of Moab. The reason we know it is new is because it is mentioned as a covenant besides the one given in Horeb, Mt Sinia. And that we should enter into covenant with the lord their God, into "HIS" oath. That HE may establish this day a people unto Himself Deut. 29:12,13.
The reason we can say "we" in respect to us entering into this covenant, into our Lord our God's oath, is it says so in Deut. 29:14, 15. There God through Moses says, neither with JUST YOU do I make this Covenant and this oath. But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day. For the Lord our God will circumcise our heart and the hearts of our seed that we may live. That we obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments Deut30:6,8. Hearkening unto the voice of the Lord so that we can keep His Commandments, AND His Statutes written in the Book of the Law. For this commandment that we hearken unto the voice of the Lord is not far from us. But His Word is in our hearts and in our mouths that we do it. That is the faith in which we preach. For with the heart man believeth INTO righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:6-8. For God has said, He will put His Law into our hearts and in our minds He will write them. And again He saith, I will give them My Spirit and cause them to walk in my Way.
What is nice about the wording in Deut. 30:10-14 is that the judgments, those statutes that dealt with when we sin are not mentioned. This clears up a lot of confusion as to what exactly God has placed in our hearts through Christ. Besides the Ten Commandments It is just the laws and statutes that pertain to our interaction with one another and God.

Me too, Dutch, Irish, Scottish, English and Cherokee lol.
Would love to visit the Royal mile. I would get lost in the history, landscape and architecture.

Are you from there?

Hi QT

I think we have met before on a different site. :)

Re: 2Cor3:3

Ink is what was written in books on scrolls- the Ten Commandments alone was written by the Spirit of the living God Exo31:18

The Ten Commandments is what was written on tablets of stone Deut4:13 Exo31:18 its not an arbitrary law they are speaking about, no longer on tablets of stone (external) but tablets of the heart (internal). 2Cor3:3 Heb8:10 Which is what the NC is about God's laws now written in the minds and hearts of His NC believers.

I think we are arguing semantics here - what we are keeping is the same, how we arrive to the conclusion is what differs.

Anyway, if you are who I think you are we have discussed this before so I probably won't continue and just agree to disagree. Good to see you.

You claim it is just semantics, but Paul explicitly labels the laws engraved in stones as the ministry of death and says they were brought to an end to make room for the Spirit in 2 Corinthians 3:7-13. If the New Covenant were just the Sinai law moved to a different spot, God would not have said in Jeremiah 31:32 that the New Covenant is NOT according to the one He made at Sinai.

Its not even in the same context of what was said- the context to what I was referring to as being semantics not what you are claiming which is why I don't bother responding anymore to your posts its fruitless and 2Cor3:3 has different context than 2Cor3:7-13 its speaking about the ministration, that changed, not the law 2Cor3:3 Heb8:10 Mat5:18-19
