It ignores the fact that not once in scripture has any gentile outside of those joining Israel been commanded to keep the Sabbath. It ignores the fact no one was commanded to keep the sabbath up until exodus. It cherry picks and makes an attempt to overwhelm a person with old testament verses to push a covenant that is no longer. And apparently it worked on you. It ignores the following verses:

That was from Review & Herald 1853, the author is anomyous but it has been in continuous publication. I believe that the major point of conflict here is that no one wants to combine the message from the Old Testament and the New Testament to arrive at a correct understanding of the doctrine.

That was from Review & Herald 1853, the author is anomyous but it has been in continuous publication. I believe that the major point of conflict here is that no one wants to combine the message from the Old Testament and the New Testament to arrive at a correct understanding of the doctrine.

Regardless of who originally wrote it, it was compiled and edited by Wilcox. That is completely useless information. The fact is it ignores many verses. The problem is your doctrine of cherry-picking verses to keep yourself under a covenant that no longer exists.

The Ten Commandments is the work of God Exo32:16 that He said those who love Him keep His commandments Exo20:6 and all of His commandments are righteousness Psa119:172 including the Sabbath isa56:1-2 so I would be careful what you are calling fifthly rags. According to Scripture fifthly rags is depending on our righteousness - our version of right and wrong instead of God's Psa119:172 Isa56:1-2. So what you stated is the exact opposite of what the Scripture states.

1 John2:4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
