AD 27 to AD 30 Messiah’s ministry
AD30 Messiah cut off
AD30 to AD 67 completion of the Eschaton/Age
AD 67 to AD 70 Time of great distress, Temple destroyed, Age of temple sacrifices ended.

“to seal up vision and prophet” is the termination of the prophetic office through fulfillment 70 AD
So then you have a gap from the end of the 69th week to the 70th week. How do you explain your gap from the Bible and isn't it hypocritical that you condemn others for having a gap, which they do explain from the Bible, when your own interpretation has a gap which you pretend doesn't exist?

And you thought that Jesus Messiah is in some way shape or form the abomination that makes desolate?
Above is your statement... notice you did not have the word crucifixion in the statement.
It was the crucifixion that caused the desolation.

And by the phrase is also translated >>>> “the desolating sacrilege”

There is no 2000+ years gap between the 69th and 70th week.
Try again, I am outlining a section of the 70th week.

So you can't answer a simple question. That's because you're afraid to admit the truth that you don't think Christ being crucified was an abomination. Something the devil would think

One thing I have learned so profoundly these past few years, is, if you repeat it often enough, many people will uncritically believe it ... and how so very, very, deep indoctrination can go.

Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.

No one cares what your opinion is. There are 8 billion people on this planet with 8 billion opinions. Where is your Biblical basis to say that there is no 2,000 year gap. We have already shared from Hosea 6 to provide a Biblical basis for the 2,000 year gap.

Second, you have not provided any Biblical basis for your gap theory.

Preposterous. And wrong. And BTW, Jesus was NOT crucified "in the Temple" or anywhere on the Temple grounds.
The obvious fact is that THESE passages.......

2Th 2:4 - Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

2Th 2:8 - And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

***************************************************************

Are the FURTURE fulfillment of this person and event.....

Dan 11:31 (Antiochus IV Ephipanies, a "type" of the antitype of Daniel 12:11)
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Dan 12:11 - And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Mar 13:14 - But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

************************************************************

Let the record show that the dogma so proposed by @ChristRoseFromTheDead
has been completely and finally and totally debunked as an unbiblical fabrication.

Dan 12:10
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
This has been dealt with many times by scholars, and maybe do some research.

But you have a bigger problem anyway, God is not in a building anymore.

"Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?"
1Cor 3:16-17.

Another failure on your part.
The crucifixion is only important because of WHO is being crucified!

The crucifixion is meaningless otherwise.

Good luck splitting hairs on this heresy of yours.

You have been utterly defeated.........effortlessly.
Any grade school child can outwit the nonsense proffered by the disciples of Augustine.

And YES, you are inferring that Jesus Himself is "polluting the sanctuary" despite your strident efforts to deny it.
And NO, the crucifixion did NOT occur in the Temple or on the Temple grounds.

@ChristRoseFromTheDead has clearly stated many times that:

THE CRUCIFIXION IS THE ABOMINATION THAT MAKES DESOLATE.

"So was crucifying the son of God an abomination?"

"There's no question that the abomination of crucifying the son of God led to the desolation of Jerusalem."

"That's because you're afraid to admit the truth that you don't think Christ being crucified was an abomination."

I have conclusively proven that the crucifixion is definitely NOT the abomination of desolation in any way shape or form.

And now I see that both her and you are backpedaling and moving to goalposts to assuage your audience aka targets.
This is typical of those proffering bogus dogma.

I don't think I've ever said that Christ's murder was the abomination that he warned his disciples about, but it definitely was the abomination that caused the destruction of Jerusalem. But I know you can't hear this because you are drunk on the whore of Babylon's wine.

Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son. But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours. And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard. What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others. Mark 12:6-9

Since when is the crucifixion of Christ not attempted murder? Are you living in some kind of Augustinian fantasy world?

Act 2:23

Their inability to call Christ's crucifixion an abomination explains why they can think destroying other countries is good.

The crucifixion is the epitome of God's GLORY and victory and holy power on display.
But you say that it is in fact an "abomination"? Sounds like heresy to me.

The Cross as God’s Glory

These passages explicitly connect the crucifixion with glory:

John 12:23–24
The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified… unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies…”
John 12:27–28
“Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came… “I have glorified it…”
John 13:31–32
“Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him.”
John 17:1–5
“Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son…”
Luke 24:26
“Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?”

👉 In John especially, the cross = the moment of glory, not defeat.

Yes, very good insight, looking back over the various related threads on CC, I see it, there is a definite strong connection.

Profoundly disturbing as well.

10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.

It was a gross evil. The fact that you can't see that reveals your spiritual depravity. God takes what is evil and brings good out of it, but that doesn"t make the evil not evil. It is the glory of God to overcome evil with good.

The visual is plenty clear, I just don't think it represents what you thought it did. It has the city and the sanctuary being destroyed in too short a time after the anointed one is cut off in order to be referring to Jesus, and the first century.

It just goes to show that "70AD", and "Jews Bad" are the only real hermeneutics for some people.
