No matter what rendering you give to other points in the passage, Israel is unquestionably the woman:

Revelation 12
"Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.”
Genesis 37

9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”

Mystery Babylon. She is called a whore . That means she is not faithful to her profession of God or has many husbands. I see it as a worldly religion . More inline with the things of men than the things of God . Or a compromise. The broad and easy road Jesus called it . She has a world influence and many adherents. Energized by the spirit of Anti Christ . Anything that’s religious but not of the truth I think . She opposes the truth . Not a good ending for her . So separate yourself unto the True Jesus Christ . Best place to find him is in the scriptures. Faith comes by hearing hearing by the word of God . Is Babylon one religion? I think much broader than that . It’s hard to know who they all are at this time . But any religion that does not have sound doctrine according to scripture, I’d come out of . Even if going alone is necessary. I have done it for years and my faith is much stronger than years ago . I try out some places if they seem sincere. But after the falling away and destruction of Babylon , the true church will remain . “ Jesus said he will build his church and the gates of hell will not prevail. “ that’s a prophecy of Jesus so count on it coming to pass . A few thoughts at this time . May God bless you as you find the truth that sets you free !

I believe the woman refers to heavenly Zion or Jerusalem because she is the mother of many.

But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. Galatians 4:26
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the witness of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17

I never made that connection, thanks

You're response appeared, (forgive my description), like a collage of cut-and-paste bible verses that, frankly, had little-to-nothing to do with my comment, to which you replied.

Do you have a message?

An insight to share?

An inquiry?

A praise?
I already responded I’m sorry it wasn’t acceptable to you . God bless

I did not express that your comment was unacceptable. I simply could not understand what you were trying to say with regard to my statement.

Forgive me if I seemed unaccepting of your contribution. I only asked for you to clarify what you meant to say.

I'm sorry, it was just very confusing to me, but you are under no obligation to help me understand.

Nothing to forgive at all . At the end of it I said “ there’s a lot of biblical evidence that it’s Jerusalem .

all of the quotes 🙂 ….. are samples of some of that biblical evidence That points to Jerusalem . That’s what the comment was intended to do and like I said in the first I know it’s long …..not for everyone

but rather than just venture my opinion I chose to offer some scripture to support the opinion that it could likely be Jerusalem …….

first I know it’s long

This may have been my undoing... I'm certain I may have gotten distracted reading it and thinking about related things that came to mind. ( I typically think four to six different topics in my head added to a short attention span )

Thanks for your kind reply. I'll reread what you'd written to give myself another chance to focus on it.

This is probably long but

“And there came
one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: and upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭17:1-2, 4-6, 16-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Read Ezekiel 16-23 the descriptions describe what he said about Jerusalem ……

In the revelation narrative vision the woman who appears in chapter 12 is israel with her capital jerusalem. Later she becomes the woman who is seen in the wilderness . What it’s showing is in chapter 12 the beautiful woman with the crown and beautiful appearance set above the rest and made beautiful by the lord

“Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem;…..

Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love;
and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.

I decked thee also with ornaments,
and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck. And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.

Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom. And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭16:1-3, 8, 11-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

But then she forsook his covenant and changed her appearance and began commiting whoredoms with the kings of the earth and spreading her fornications about among the nations

“But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was. And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.

And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood. Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.

Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger. Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied. Thou hast moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith.

How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman; Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD: Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them; behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.

And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare. They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords. And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭16:15-16, 22, 25-26, 28-30, 35-41‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Notice this part in revelation ?

And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.”

remember what God said when he chose Jerusalem as his earthly city that if they would have obeyed the covenant. They would have ruled the entire earth …… in several prophecies in the ot jerusalem is called a harlot and whore who committed fornicatuons and whoredoms and spread them about among other nations ….

I’d say biblically there’s a lot of evidence for Jerusalem

Over on the far right of the editing menu you'll see 3 vertical dots to the right of a smiley face. Click on that and select the middle icon called Spoiler. That brings up a dialog asking for what label you want the button to have. Type that in (I typed "junk") and then click Continue. That will put this on your screen with square brackets instead of parentheses like I used because it won't show correctly if I use square brackets. Between the 2 square brackets place the text you want to hide (I typed "more junk"). And that's it.

When I clicked on the dots a bunch of symbols came up . I’m not sure which one is spoiler

The one in the middle that looks like an eye with a slash through it (I guess that means not visible) is spoiler.

You don't even have to use that method. You can use this format while you type your post. Just place the first line at the beginning of what you want to hide, and place the last line at the end of what you want to hide. Use square brackets instead of ( ) brackets. I used square brackets in the 2nd example below the first.

Now if someone can name the 7 hills in Jerusalem? We'll be all set.
Out of all the great kingdoms Rome was never conquered. It was broken apart.
The woman rides the beast...(takes control of the system) to further her agenda. Bringing back paganism.
Rcc has killed more Christians than any other nation or cult combined. (Drunk on the blood of the saints.)
The beast devours the woman in the end. (AntiChrist).
John refers to.... which was...which is not...which is again....in John's day Rome was in charge of all of the earth as he saw it.
Rcc will be all inclusive bringing back popularity among the people. The description of colors and golden cup of blasphemy points to the rcc clergy and rituals.

Just saying.
