The Scripture teaching remains uncorrected by the disbelievers: The gospel of Jesus Christ begins with repentance from all transgressing, to believe Him and keep His commandments.
Now for the efforts of denial:
Paul is not the author of the gospel of Jesus Christ: Jesus is the Author of His gospel, that He gives to all His chosen apostles.
2Pe 1:20
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
1Co 1:13
Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
Choosing one apostle over another, and isolating some Scriptures from all Scriptures, is a favorite tool of the false teachers.
Which does not include the disobedience of anyone, but only them that obey Him, even as He obeyed the Father:
Heb{5:8}
Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
1 Jo 2:5
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1 John{3:7}
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that is doing righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
Jesus Christ the righteous is not Lord of anyone transgressing His Father's commandments:
Luk 6:46
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
The disobedience of the many, does not nullify the promise of life to them that obey.
Rom 3:3
For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Mat 22:14
For many are called, but few are chosen.
Collosians{3:23}
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
2Ti 2:23
But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
All the disobedient need to know is already told us in the beginning of Jesus' gospel to transgressors:
Mat 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mark{1:15}
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Acts{3:19}
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
Unrepented transgressors have not yet begun to enter into the kingdom of Jesus Christ...
Topical Lexicon
δικαίωσις – JUSTIFICATION
Overview of the Concept
δικαίωσις denotes God’s definitive judicial act by which He declares sinners righteous on the basis of the atoning work and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Far more than a mere legal fiction, it establishes a new covenant standing that restores fellowship with God, inaugurates life in the Spirit, and guarantees eschatological glory. Because this verdict issues from the divine court, it is irreversible and free from human merit. The doctrine therefore undergirds the gospel’s proclamation that salvation is by grace through faith alone.
Occurrences in the New Testament - Romans 4:25 and Romans 5:18 contain the term and frame its meaning:
• “He was delivered over to death for our trespasses and was raised to life for our justification.” (Romans 4:25)
• “So then, just as one trespass brought condemnation for all men, so also one act of righteousness brings justification and life for all men.” (Romans 5:18)
In both contexts δικαίωσις stands in deliberate contrast to κατάκριμα (“condemnation”) and is anchored in Christ’s death–resurrection event. Paul teaches that the Father’s raising of the Son is the public confirmation that the penalty for sin has been satisfied and that believers are now acquitted and counted righteous.
Summary
Strong’s Greek 1344 portrays God’s decisive, legal declaration that sinners are righteous through faith in Jesus Christ. This verdict, grounded in the cross, confirmed by the resurrection, and received by faith apart from works, provides peace with God, energizes sanctification, and guarantees future glory. Genuine faith, while never the meritorious ground, necessarily bears the fruit that vindicates its reality before others and ultimately before God.
