Again, according to Ezekiel 36:26-27, what is the cause of obedience?

Until you understand this, you will continue to err. And this was my point to begin with: it is God who comes to mankind and effectuates the conditions in man that lead to positive response towards God. Short of God initiating a relationship with man and creating a new person, man will not approach God.

The faithful overcoming trials and tribulations of temptation by obedience to Jesus Christ, are made partakers of His eternal salvation from sins and trespasses against Him.

Jesus' justification and sanctification only opposes unsanctified transgressing.

Jesus is never without His sanctification, neither are His brethren sanctified by Him, for they are all one with the same sanctification from transgressing God.

Your Justification isn't dependent on your daily service.

Jesus' justification isn't by anyone's faith-alone, but only by doing works through His faith.

Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?...Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

If it were, we would all have no chance, as flawed beings.

Rom 13:11

You missed on one point. While God created all things good and very good, that is not the estate of mankind today. According to Romans 3, there are none righteous, nor any who do good. All have been marred by sin. God alone remains good. This is what makes salvation necessary for all. It is also what makes all disobedient. The only way to change this is through the new covenant promise of a new heart and spirit, and the indwelling Spirit who causes us to walk in His statutes. Read it for yourself...Ezekiel 36:26-27.

What the old covenant could not do having God's laws written on tablets of stone, the new covenant accomplishes by writing directly into our hearts. That's the beauty of the new covenant.

That claim James was a works-based heretic too.

And Paul:

Whether it's works of righteousness or works of unrighteousness, if works have anything to do with faith-alone justification, then it's works-based heresy to faith-alone justifiers.

True. Unfortunately some people that swing from too far in one direction, then overcompensate and swing to far in the other.

The key is to stand in the balance of all Scripture taken together. Sort of like on the flat blade of the broadsword of God, without being cut off on the left nor the right:

And as can be at least partially expected, good ministers that receive too much acclaim, can become too full of their own claims...

No faithful believer and obedient servant of the Lord, should doubt that God has preserved all His Scriptures in one Book, nor allow any minister to think we are above the Scriptures, that are written by the holy prophets and apostles of the Lord.

We should stick to believing and obeying the words of God as written, and not go about trying to question or change them. Especially not to justify any disobedience in the name of 'faith'.

Faith-alone is the idol of transgressors denying obedience is necessary to enter and inherit the righteous kingdom of Christ Jesus:

2 Peter 1:3
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I don't believe Christians continue to live in sin. I'm simply showing why they don't.

And only those who repent of sinful works, are given the faith of Jesus Christ to only do His good works and righteousness. And since repentance from all transgressions is only granted by God for Jesus' sake, then God by Jesus Christ has all the glory, and no man can boast of doing good for His name's sake, and not doing evil.

Faith-alone justification with continued transgressions, is simply one of the most common reasons why there are Christians, that do continue living with some sins and trespasses, rather than repent of them all. They don't like to call it a license to continue transgressing God, but it sure isn't commandment against it.

Especially when some of them even condemn entering into Jesus' kingdom and keeping His commandments, to begin walking as He walked.

And then there are some that just declare it impossible for any Christian to do so. Which indeed is true for themselves: No unrepented transgressor by their faith-alone, can possibly keep Jesus' commandments and walk as He walked...

And so, they just claim justification by their faith-alone, and all is well. Until the grave, when God does judge every man according to our works, not according to anyone's faith-alone:

As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

The Scripture's teaching stands uncontested: Jesus' salvation only begins with keeping His commandments. Transgressors have not begun to enter into His righteous kingdom.

Now let's here the gospel of transgressors, keeping their transgressions against God's commandments:


Which belief with righteousness is only given to them, that repent of their unrighteous transgressions:

The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of:

Repentance unto salvation by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ the righteous.



Acts of transgression after this, are the dead works of the disobedient not given His eternal salvation:

Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;




No acts of disobedience and rebellion are part of Jesus' eternal salvation, but must be repented for deliverance from tribulation and wrath of God.

Rom 2:7
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Hellene;

The faithful overcoming trials and tribulations of temptation by obedience to Jesus Christ, are made partakers of His eternal salvation from sins and trespasses against Him.

Jas 1:2
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that obey him.

Mat 10:22
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.



There is no eternal salvation of Jesus Christ vs the holy life in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter{1:14}

His salvation only opposes disobedience in life.





There is no justification of Jesus Christ vs His sanctification from transgressing.

1Co 6:11
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Jesus' justification and sanctification only opposes unsanctified transgressing.

Heb 2:11
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.

Jesus is never without His sanctification, neither are His brethren sanctified by Him, for they are all one with the same sanctification from transgressing God.


Jesus' justification isn't by anyone's faith-alone, but only by doing works through His faith.

James{2:21}
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?...Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.



No unrepented transgressor has any chance of being washed, sanctified, and justified by Jesus Christ the righteous, being hardened transgressors.

Rom 2:3
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: …For there is no respect of persons with God.

Tit 1:1
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient,

Repent is a change of mind, heart..not a lot of works.

God repented what He did with Israel and that was a change of mind.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ..that's not an act of good works. It's a change of mind, heart.

I think you confuse justification with sanctification. We aren't justified before God by anything we do...by works of the law is no flesh justified...Galatians 2:16. The only thing our works do is manifest that we have been justified. Abraham believed God because He had been justified. His obedience demonstrated that God had justified him.

Read Ezekiel 36:26-27. It is the new covenant. A covenant of grace. The same covenant Abraham was under. Grace always has God initiating and accomplishing salvation. He is the cause of the change in us. To be sure, it goes much easier under the yoke when we pull in the same direction God is moving, God will get us where we need to be with encouragement or chastisement. The sad truth for many is that many Christians live far beneath the life available to them in Christ. They say the right words, but live in their own strength without the power of God residing on them. God is offering us lives far beyond our meager attempts at obedience apart from Him. At least give it some thought that there is more to a life with God hidden in Christ than you may yet have come to know..

We all reap what we sow. No way around that and what Jesus did at the Cross does not take away the fact that we reap what we sow

Exactly, and this exposes the superficial nature of justification by faith-alone: Only believing in Jesus' death on the cross, saves and justifies them forever.

It's the faith of hearing only, not of doing the truth. It's the same faith of devils, that also believe Jesus Christ died on a cross, and continue transgressing against Him.

However, there's also a deeper self-righteousness of faith-alone, pertaining to Jesus' death on the cross for our sins: They call it having faith-alone in the 'finished work of Jesus' sacrifice for sins', that only He did alone. And so, they say they had no part in His sacrificial work on the cross, and therefore can have no part in being saved by His death for sins.

Which is a lie of the self-righteous:

Luk 24:7
Jesus Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Jesus declares He must die at the hands of sinful men, not that He shall do so. Why? Because men have sinned against God, and so God must come in the flesh to die for men's transgressions. If man and woman had not transgressed, then no need for the Lamb of God to die in the flesh.

Therefore, every one that has transgressed against Christ on earth, has their sinful part in His need to die for sins. And not only the need to die, but also must die by the hands of the sinful: All transgressors have their part of both cause and means of Jesus Christ's sacrificial work on the the cross.

Anyone on earth saying they had no part in His sacrifice for sins, are declaring themselves righteous, without any need of the Lamb coming to die for them in the flesh. And their own clean hands likewise had not part in shedding His innocent blood.

Their forefathers of old, that were righteous in themselves, also declared they had no part in the death of the prophets, nor would have shed their righteous blood:

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

The truth of Scripture is plain: Jesus Christ had to come and die for the sins of every person, that has sinned on earth. And that every person that has sinned on earth, is guilty of His shed blood by sinning against Him.

Act 2:23
Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Acts 2:37
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?...Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Everyone that has transgressed, being part of His sacrificial death for sins, therefore must likewise do our part in being forgiven and delivered by His resurrection: Repent of transgressing against Jesus Christ, and crucifying Him on a cross. He did so for us, but with us transgressing, He did so by us all.

Isa 59:2
By your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Only by believing the gospel of repentance for Jesus' sake, will any transgressor believe he must also repent for His forgiveness' sake:

The righteous that say they had no part in His sacrificial work for sins, will have no godly sorrow to repent of His death for sins. They are the righteous, that do not believe the gospel of Jesus Christ coming to call themselves to repentance and salvation:

When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
