I believe in context that “seed of equality” just means that we are all one in Christ (I.e. we are one, just as God the Father and God the Son are one in understanding). There is no division, nothing more.

All the other verses about women hold.

Well, you should upgrade/improve your understanding/definition of oneness.
It does not mean dictators are one with their slaves.

Respectfully, this is not what He is talking about here. We are ALL called to be one in Christ, but with so many divisions, this is not so.

On the contrary, God's revelation has changed continually from A&E until JC&P.
Keep up!
-Where do you get that it changes? Nothing changes!! We all should be like the 1st century church; not in clothing, but in the pattern and in His word.

-Does Rev. 22:18-19 mean anything to you? Changes are not allowed!

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

Of course things change.

This is why there is an Old Testament and New Testament.

The OC was fulfilled in Christ; we are no longer under the OC, Christ nailed it to the cross. This is a basic principle. 🩷

His word never changes!!

What is clear is that you believe God hates people before they are born

Nope. You come to that conclusion through manipulation of what is written in the text rather than believing what the Author of Scripture has written ... just as He has written it.

Rom 9:11-14

11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
What God said before Jacob and Esau were born was "the elder shall serve the younger". God said that to Rebekah:

Genesis 25:23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

And Paul corroborates what God said to Rebekah in Romans 9:12:

Romans 9:12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
yes ... "it is written" in Malachi ... long after Jacob and Esau were born and lived out their lives:

Malachi 1:2-3

2 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Malachi was not written before Jacob and Esau were born.

rogerg specifically stated (and apparently you agree with rogerg) ... "before being born God said of them: "Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated" ... however, it is clear from Scripture that what God stated before they were born was "the elder shall serve the younger" (Genesis 25:23). And this is corroborated by Paul in Romans 9:12.

Then, rather than believe what the Author of Scripture wrote in Genesis 25:23 and Romans 9:12 ... as well as Malachi 1:2-3 and Romans 9:13 ... both you and rogerg pile on error after error.

Poor workmanship on the part of both of you.

14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
There is no unrighteousness with God. And there is no unrighteousness in reading Scripture just as it is written by the Author.

Both you and rogerg are in error concerning what is written in Romans 9. Your error has been pointed out to you.

Just believe what is written and quit trying to rewrite what the Author of Scripture wrote.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

That you and rogerg feel compelled to re-write what the Author of Scripture has written is indicative of your poor workmanship and your shameful treatment of the Word of Truth.

.

I am replying to you not because I feel the need to
 ... r-i-g-h-t ... just like your claim that it's "not worth [your] time to refute" which is belied by the fact that you refute ... again, par for the course with you rogerg.

but because I think it would be good for those who might read this and might believe you to make visible to them your lack of knowledge of the Bible, given that you've made obvious don't have much of it, which is why you get so much of it so wrong so often.

(By the way, I am very familiar with the argument you've made and have heard it many times before - so you're not telling me anything new).
so you purposely manipulate the text even though you've been told what the Author of Scripture has written. Glad you cleared that up, rogerg. Just goes shows your complete and utter disdain for the Word of God.

The "when" of God choosing to have written that He loved Jacob and hated Esau is irrelevant to whether He actually loved Jacob and hated Esau: He said it, and He meant it. Had He meant something different, He would have stated it differently (Paul was moved by the Holy Spirit in his writings just as writers of Genesis and Malachi were moved by Him) it's as simple as that - not really hard to understand, is it?
and yet you still choose to rewrite what God wrote in Romans 9:12 which was quoted from Genesis 25:23.

and you still choose to rewrite what God wrote in Malachi 1:2-3 which was corroborated by Paul in Romans 9:13.

Since the writer of Genesis and the writer of Malachi and the writer of Romans were all "moved by the Holy Spirit", why do you take it upon yourself to re-write what the Holy Spirit wanted written? Do you think "He meant something different" than what He actually wrote?

God hated Esau for the same reason He hates all of the non-elect:
did you know that God gave Mt Seir to Esau as an inheritance and God instructed the children of Israel to not mess with their brethren, the children of Esau?

Deuteronomy 2:2-5

2 And the LORD spake unto me, saying,

3 Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:

5 Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

because they will never be covered by the righteousness of Christ as their Savior, and therefore, in God's eyes, their sins remain.
only God knows who will be covered by the righteousness of Christ ... best you leave to God who He will cover.

God loved Jacob, as He loves all of the elect, because their sins will be/are covered by Christ as their Savior, and His righteousness, with their sins forgiven them, and so God loved Jacob who represented biblically- as spiritual progenitor and model - of all of the elect, as the other verses in Rom 9 so state (if you actually take the time to read them you just might be able to comprehend that in them).
you can look to Jacob as your "spiritual progenitor and model" all the livelong day, rogerg.

Me? ... I'll stick with the Lord Jesus Christ.

God obviously knew that Jacob was of His elect because it was God who had made him so from before the foundation of the world. God also knew Esau was not, and would never be, because He did not make him so.
God knew the line through which the Lord Jesus Christ would be born and God has shown the lineage in Matt 1 and Luke 3.

Apparently, you've discarded the concept of the progressive revelation of God's doctrines within Scripture (no surprise there), which also means therefore, that you'll have to discard all of the New Testament too, because it is the completion of the doctrines begun in the Old Testament and completed there, just as Rom 9 fills in the doctrine begun in the Old Testament.
Actually, it is wholly apparent that you discard what is written by the Author of Scripture as it you who incorrectly reported what was said by God before Jacob and Esau were born ... and then continue to rationalize your error in your complete and utter rebellion. have fun with that, rogerg.

So, having made that clear, you're now back on ignore.
good, then I can point out all your errors without having to deal with your inane replies.
