26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

At the laying on of hands, what is written above, begin to happen to me, slowly on a scale of 1 to 10,
I considered myself to be a - 5, that amount of change does not happen over night. the Book of Acts also attest to that fact.

it was through years of trials and testing that God's Divine Nature began to suppress my carnal human nature.
I, thankfully, am not the man if was 60 years ago, a new heart/nature and new Spirit in not instance.

We must grow in knowledge, wisdom, faith, love. We must grow and produce the attributes/fruits of the Divine Nature.

If you are asking if I felt a sudden change at the moment hands were on me --- no. I was not made perfect all at once and am still not close to perfect.

Without the Father's Spirit in me I would not be here today, the process of salvation is over a life time which I can attest to.

If you have spent any time in Matthew 25 and the 10 virgins, that should explain the reality of the process of salvation.
The Father's Spirit is fruitful in some, some gain 100, some 50 and some 0. there is not one of us like another our Father made us all different.

I believe Matthew 25, 50% of those I fellowship with every Sabbath will leave.

if this does not answer -- I need a clearer question.
Sure. Sanctification occurs over time, but salvation...new birth...occurs in a moment in time. Either you have received a new heart or you have not.

there are two births, the first to flesh and the second to spirit as per Christ.

The "heart", the Divine nature of The Father must grow in us and increase until death or the First Resurrection

At the laying on of hands the Father places HIS Spirit into us, which gives us a small measure of His divine nature.

God's plan is physical first, followed by Spirit
Adam then Christ
lamb Passover then Christ our Passover
Physical birth followed by our spiritual birth into spirit.

This is scattered here a little and there a little throughout the Old and the New.

If this could be proven 100% by scripture, there would be no question, but like many beliefs it can not.
the "born again' doctrine is not even 100% throughout the tens of thousands of churches.

I will only look to what Christ taught.
My hope is to be born of the Father's spirit, into spirit as a son of the Father

my own thoughts; at the laying on of hands, the Father put into me His Spirit which is His spirit seed/sperm, at that moment, impregnating me with His seed and I became a spirit fetus waiting to be born into spirit,

this could be how Christ was placed in Mary's womb.

Moral law consists of universal, unchanging principles of right and wrong, often based on divine command or natural law, like the Ten Commandments (e.g., "do not murder"). Civil law is temporary, man-made legislation designed by governments to manage daily society, maintain order, and enforce justice (e.g., traffic rules, property disputes).

Moral laws are unchanging principles and the fact that God sanctified the Sabbath has not changed..
It's important to be accurate with our terminology. Instead of talking about civil law, let's talk about covenant Law. In the Mosaic covenant, specific laws often embody broader moral principles. For example, the command to build a parapet around a roof is a law—a concrete requirement tied to Israel’s architectural context—but the moral principle it expresses is universal: human life is valuable and foreseeable harm must be prevented. The form is covenant‑specific; the underlying ethic is timeless. In the same way, the fourth commandment’s requirement to remember the Sabbath day is a covenantal law given to Israel, while the moral principle it expresses—the necessity of rest, trust in God, and the rhythm of work and worship—is universal. The law is the particular expression; the principle is the enduring moral reality.

As Gentiles, we are not obligated to give expression to that universal moral principle by resting on Saturday. As a Gentile follower of Christ, I give expression to that principle by resting on a Sunday. I am obligated to acknowledge the necessity of rest, and to trust God. I do this by worshipping and obeying his son. I also rest on Sunday because it was Sunday when he was raised from the dead.

Prove where God has ever said not to keep the sabbath holy.

We aren't discussing the moral principle of rest and trusting God. We are discussing how Israel gave expression to that moral principle by resting every Saturday. Gentiles are not obligated to give expression to that moral principle by resting every Saturday. Gentile worshippers of Jesus Christ give expression to that moral principle by resting on Sunday.

A moral law is a law that God set in place and applies to all people. Mar 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

Murder is a moral law and so all 10 of the commandments
This is another case that shows the pattern. The covenantal law is "thou shalt not kill (murder.) The prohibition of murder is a law within the covenant, but the moral principle behind it—the sanctity of human life as God’s image-bearers—is older than Sinai and universally binding. The covenantal Law, you shall not kill, is giving expression to the moral principle that human life is sacred.

The sabbath was made holy at creation and made for man to obey from that day.
Resting on a Saturday was not instituted at creation. Resting on a Saturday was a covenantal expression of God's moral requirement for rest and trust.
To observe the Sabbath is to render to God what is rightfully His; to do otherwise is described as robbing God of His reserved rest-day.
Therefore, the obligation to keep the seventh-day Sabbath remains a perpetual sign of allegiance to the Creator.
If the Sabbath was made for us, then those who rest on Saturday are taking advantage of a blessing God established. We are not rendering anything to him.
Who are we to change what God set in place and sanctified?
Gentiles were never obligated to rest on Saturday. So gentiles didn't change anything.

Read the whole passage in Ezekiel 36:26-27. What is it that causes us to walk after God and keep His ways? Is it not His Spirit which He places in us?

Romans 3 teaches that there are none who seek after God. Yet, from time to time, we see those who do pursue after God. Why? Because God has come to them and given them new hearts and spirits, and placed His Spirit in them just as Ezekiel 36:26-27 describe. It is this intervention of God that produces a new creation in Christ. Baptism and the laying on of hands is simply when what God had done in you was made manifest to you. God was already causing you to walk in His ways. That's why you went to church, came to faith, repented, and was baptized.

Oh I agree, the only reason I even stopped and read and listened was the Father was calling me by His Spirit, the spirit was not in me, His spirit was 'with me' dragging me into His family. I came in kicking and screaming.

there not a chance in a million that I would have ever become a follower of Jesus Christ on my own.

And to be able to write the words, His words, as I do --- my first english test in college, out of 3300 I was 2nd from the bottom. I dropped the class after that.

God forces no one to be saved against their will.

If He did that He would have forced Satan to be saved and saved the world a lot of trouble.

I am not of the tribe of Judah or Benjamin I believe I come from Joseph's 2 sons. they are half Hebrew, half Egyptian.

I have spent some time in God's calendar, my quess -- "a guess" Christ will return on a Feast of Trumpets which will also fall on a 7th Day Sabbath, making it a double Sabbath. that actually occurs this year and next, 2027 and 2030.

I am certain God the Father and Christ chose the hour, the day the month and the year of His return before Creation began and made it Holy for that purpose.

Christ return is at the Last of seven Trumpet blast. the Last Trump, which the Feast of Trumpets foreshadows.

I concur on Rome and I believe they will play a huge part in the Tribulation and the Day of the Lord.
Interesting to know events stuff from the holy lands I get bits pieces like eye of the needle or how crystal clear the water was is ? I would live by the Law if I could but knowing only Jesus did that and I Follow Him in new from circumcision to baptism Covenant Aman

Inquisitor, not arguing, just informing.
the Old is only "ready to disappear"
If the Old Covenant was not still in effect there could not be The Time of the End.

This is Lev 26, the Old Covenant, from verse 27 to 39 is the 7 years time of the end, which is divided into two periods of 3 1/2 years.
The New Covenant was never written in the Bible, word for word, like the Old was.
The Old is a physical covenant and what is coming is physical punishment for physical sin for a physical people.
The New is a spiritual covenant for a spiritual people

As long as there are flesh and blood humans on earth the Old will be in effect.

27And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; 28Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. 29And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat. 30And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. 31And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours. 32And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. 33And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

This is also "The time of Jacob's Trouble"

How can you completely contradict what is stated below in Hebrews?

Hebrews 8:8
For finding fault with them, He says, behold, days are coming, says the Lord, when I will effect a new covenant
with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

Hebrews 8:13
When He said, “A new covenant,” He has made the first covenant obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and
growing old is ready to disappear.

The first covenant is obsolete!

God gave the Law.... "thou shalt not covet" to Israel. But that does not mean the same law does not apply to all of mankind.
How can you say that?

The old covenant (the law) was specifically between God and Israel only.

Exodus 19:5-6
Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure
unto me above all people... And you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.

Exodus 24:7-8
And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath
said will we do, and be obedient. And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people
...

Deuteronomy 5:2-3
The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb [Sinai]. The Lord made not this covenant with our fathers,
but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

Jeremiah 31:32
...not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them
out of the land of Egypt
; which my covenant they broke...

Hebrews 8:9
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them
out of the land of Egypt
.

I do not know what you have been taught but somehow you have an old covenant, between God and humanity.

You are dead wrong and you are seriously corrupting what God has said.

Are you saying that God did not choose Israel?

How do you know.? You might be surprised at what blessings The Lord has in store for you.

Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Phi 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Don't be so quick to think you are fully blessed. Or understand the fullness of God's blessing..

Eph 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Unreachable riches, peace that passeth all understanding, and able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.

And you claim that you could not be more blessed... ??
I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. Ephesians 1:3. I do not know the full extent of those blessings, but they are all mine already.

another thought -- over the last 60 years a guess would be over 50% of those in the Body -- left, went back in to the world.
The parable of the sower explains it. Many so-called believers have only an emotional experience. Shallow preaching leads to shallow believers who have no real foundation. Those who are purely intellectual are equally vulnerable. If someone can be talked into Christianity, someone else can talk them out of it. That's why it is essential to be born again right now. Christianity is neither intellectual not emotional. It is spiritual. Without a live spirit, it is impossible to know the things of God.

Yeah us swine AKA gentile Got the best deal no doubt about it there's no way I could keep the laws and if moses.none!
