You are just so judgmental. I gave you the Gospel, you want a 5year theology course before you deem someone ready to be saved?
Please tell us who the Lord Jesus Christ is and what He has done to save His people from their sins, give detail ! Surely Paul explained that to the inquirer in Acts 16:31-32

Romans 1:18-21

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness
of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God
is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world
God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being
understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him,
but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

........
Amen!

We're sinners after we believe too. Hopefully as we grow, we sin less but the sin nature is not removed.

1 John 1:8
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
unbelief resides in the old sin nature, so one can never believe while in that sin nature, it[belief/faith] must come from a new nature.

Below, you eliminate ALL of Romans chapter 9 from consideration. Last I checked Romans 9:11 is part of Romans 9.
I have included Romans 9:11 in my replies to both you and brightfame52:

"rogerg need to provide Scripture other than Romans 9 to support your assertion because Romans 9:12 does not support your claim."

after which, I said

"Not that anything besides Rom 911 is needed because it clearly states God's point of view - and by your saying it doesn't, doesn't make it so,"
Romans 9:11-12 does not state what you claim.

Your claim is that God said before Jacob and Esau were born that He hated Esau:

before being born God said of them: "Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated".

God never said that before they were born.

Clearly what God said to Rebekah before they were born:

Genesis 25:23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

Romans 9:11-12

11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth; )

12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.

Paul reiterated what God told Rebekah in Genesis.

Your desperate attempt to align Scripture to your erroneous dogma has again failed.

Henceforth, quit posting me and I will do likewise for you.
I will reply to posts whenever I prefer to reply.

why don't you just do what you said back in Post 35,839?

.

I know what rogerg said and what you said, he knows what he is talking about and you dont.
I do know what both you and rogerg are talking about.

you're both talking about something God never said before Jacob and Esau were born because you both ignore/remove what is written in Romans 9:12 and Genesis 25:23.

God did not say He loved Jacob/hated Esau until Malachi 1:3 ... long after both Jacob and Esau were born, had lived out their lives, and were dead and buried.

What God said before Jacob and Esau were born was "the elder shall serve the younger" (Genesis 25:23; Romans 9:12).

so sad you guys cling so desperately to error.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

interesting ... you do not deny that you both said exactly what I claim you have said ... instead, you just claim I "dont know what ["I"] talking about".

Romans 9:9-12

9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.

10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;

11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth; )

12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.

hope/pray you have a blessed day as you ponder the magnificence of God's Word.

Regeneration makes one alive.
A viable human birth makes one alive.
It leads to salvation.
A person regenerated by God is still not saved?
No, the passage is a generalization of God's desire. It is most certainly not soteriology.
Salvation always follows when someone is given a new heart and spirit, and the indwelling Spirit.
You are just making this stuff up as you go along.

Grace and peace.

Why? Does the Bible say we are saved by receiving a new heart or spirit? Does it say we are saved by the indwelling Spirit? Nope. It says we are saved by grace through faith. But the natural fallen man is spiritually dead and his heart is wicked. He needs a new heart to believe with his heart. He needs a new spirit to confess with his mouth. Otherwise, he will not respond to the gospel.
Wait, you mean people do not decide to believe what they hear as foolishness? Oh, right; that is the free will stance.

That is the playbook, they use it over and over again>>>> out of context, not even a verse about soteriology, and when called out on it, then their final retort...

"You don't understand the Bible"

Totally absurd! How can the New Covenant, established by the death of its mediator, Jesus Christ with the terms and stipulations contained therein, be anything but specific, non-general, permanent and a clear demonstration of God's own will? It was established upon God's PROMISES!
Was the Old Covenant also a generalization?
No, no way! Methinks you guys have no understanding of New Covenant or you're being dishonest or both.
So, to make it abundantly clear, you guys are as completely and totally wrong as much as anyone can be with your posts.
You need to read Hebrews!

[Heb 12:24 KJV] 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel.
[Heb 8:6 KJV] 6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
[Heb 9:14-15 KJV]
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions [that were] under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Physical life begins at conception.
Good point, my error.

Spiritual life begins at regeneration.
Job 32:8
But there is a spirit in human beings, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.

We are not created as mindless animals.

Even those who are lost have understanding and without excuse.

Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse:

Both are prior to "realization."
Not sure what this means.

I am not seeing how this connects to my post.
I read nothing in the Epistle to the Hebrews which affirm regeneration prior to faith/belief.

What do you think Eze 26 26-27 is referring to - the post in which @Lamar said the "passage" was a generalization thereby non-specific of God's desire, and with which you agreed. It is indeed very specific in terms of what God promised that HE alone would impute unto those under His NC: His elect. Therefore, His promises must first be imputed to them for them to truly believe: the old heart is deceitful and desperately wicked above all things, and of itself, completely incapable of true belief.

[Jer 17:9 KJV] 9 The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it?
