I'm really surprised no preachers have started "anointing" this image and selling it so people can touch it and "get their healing."An accurate profiling of many MAGA supporters rolled into a meme.

That's a false premise. Again, disagreement isn't the issue. It's the loss of perspective and objectivity.
Are you taking notes?
It should be obvious.I'm a retired Behavioral Scientist so I'm looking at everyone's post.
TDS again on display. Trump sure is lucky all those criminals turned themselves in.
I'm against all abortion.Yes in fact. Do you agree that DJT and Vance should increase the number of weeks to 15 instead of suggesting it be less that 13 weeks which was the average when they were ask the question? https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/73/ss/ss7307a1.htm
I was joking, and my resistance to abortion mostly consists of not getting females pregnant. Absent Christ, I am an anarchist by nature and could not care less about abortion, although I do admire the female ability to murder their offspring on demand with zero legal consequences. Their problem is with God, not me.Yes in fact. I was only pointing out that TDS is defined as irrational disagreement with DJT on everything he does and that is not me.I was only pointing out that TDS is that someone disagrees with a political position/policy that DJT holds. That would mean that in order to not have TDS the entire Republican party would have to agree with everything, 100% DJT is telling them to do and vote for. If there is any one policy or position set forth by DJT that any Republican has disagreement with then they also have TDS.

Here is a far more useful and universally accepted definition. TDS is a form of Groupthink.
Groupthink is a psychological phenomenon where the desire for harmony or conformity within a group results in irrational, sub-optimal, or dysfunctional decision-making. Members suppress dissenting viewpoints and avoid conflict to reach a consensus without critically evaluating alternative ideas. [1]
Yale psychologist Irving Janis introduced the term in 1971 to explain how seemingly intelligent groups of people can make disastrous choices when trapped in a consensus-seeking mentality. [1, 2]
Key Characteristics & Symptoms
Janis identified eight primary warning signs that a group is falling into groupthink: [1]
- Illusions of Invulnerability: Creating excessive optimism and encouraging extreme risk-taking.
- Collective Rationalization: Discounting warnings or negative feedback that might challenge the group's assumptions.
- Belief in Inherent Morality: Ignoring the ethical or moral consequences of decisions.
- Stereotyped Views of Out-groups: Viewing rivals or dissenting individuals as too evil, weak, or stupid to negotiate with.
- Direct Pressure on Dissenters: Coercing members who express strong arguments against the group's consensus.
- Self-Censorship: Withholding personal doubts or counter-arguments to avoid standing out or disrupting harmony.
- Illusions of Unanimity: Assuming that silence implies consent, leading to a false perception that everyone agrees.
- Self-Appointed "Mindguards": Members who take it upon themselves to protect the leader or the group from problematic information that contradicts their plans.

Group think includes "personality cult" it is all inclusive. So just as you have some MAGA that may be so extreme as to be a personality cult, the opposite of that is TDS where you have people equally rabid about being against Trump, it is the photo negative of the personality cult extreme. We don't need a different designation for David Koresh, Charles Manson, or Jim Jones, they are all personality cults, and fall under the big umbrella of Groupthink.TDS is not even mentioned in that Wikipedia article nor is any connection made.
Speaking of which,......Its like asking which teeny tiny manufactured holes did they plug while the ship continues to take on water from having innumerable large gaping holes also by design.
Wrong questions, wrong lens.
and that sums up t d s perfectly!

On April 4, 2026, MV Fiji Princess was involved in an incident off the coast of Fiji while anchored near reef waters.A sudden squall moved through the area, bringing strong winds and rough seas. The weather change happened quickly and made conditions unsafe for a vessel that was holding position at anchor. Under the force of wind and waves, the anchor began to drag, meaning it lost its grip on the seabed."
It was slammed against the coral reef that put holes in the hull
