A child sees a tetter-totter on the playground. He cannot use it without a partner or a friend. Reconciliation is like that. Both of the parties must agree to be reconciled before reconciliation can take place.

The reconciled cannot reject it, Its between God the Father and His Son the Father accepted His Death for them and by it putting away their sins, God has them in His Divine Favor, for Christs His Son sake, not theirs, for they are still Gods enemies. The only one that could have rejected it was the Father, but He didnt.
This post is worthless. Those who have been reconciled to God by His Sons death, have no sin charged to them, and have been received into the Divine Favor, and shall be saved by His Life.
God tells us who is "return[ed] to favour" in the verses before Rom 5:10:
Romans 4:20-5:2
20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him [Abraham] for righteousness.
23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it [righteousness] was imputed to him;
24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
When a person believes "on Him Who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead", he or she is then "justified by faith" because he or she has changed his or her position and is now in alignment (katallassō) with what God has stated concerning His Son.
Those who are reconciled to God are the ones who have changed from rejecting what God says to "confessing the same thing God says (confess = Greek = homologeō = to say the same thing as another; not to refuse; not to deny)".
2 Corinthians 5: 17-19
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
The only ones who are "in Christ" are the ones who have confessed (Greek = homologeō) Jesus Christ is Lord and have believed that God raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead:
Romans 10:9-10
9 That if thou shalt confess (Greek = homologeō) with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession (Greek = homologeō) is made unto salvation.
All descendants of Adam start life being self-willed. Those who are self-willed yet change their position to be in alignment with the truth God reveals to them ... those are the ones who are reconciled to God.
There is no subset of humanity which is "elect" from birth and that does not need to change position from self-willed. God reaches out to folks more than once over the course of their lifetime and if someone continuously rejects, there is no reconciliation.
The same word homologeō is used in this verse:
Matthew 10:32-33
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess (homologeō) me before men, him will I confess (homologeō) also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
If/when a person says the same thing about the Lord Jesus Christ as what God says about the Lord Jesus Christ, then the Lord Jesus Christ will say the same thing about that person as what God says about that person ... i.e. that they are reconciled (katallassō).
If/when a person continuously denies what God says about the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord Jesus Christ will deny him or her before His Father.

the "yet now" occurs when a person turns to the Lord Jesus Christ in faith after someone preaches the gospel of Christ, which is the power of God unto salvation unto every who believeth (Rom 1:16) ... those who believe do not suppress the truth in unrighteousness (Rom 1:18) ... at that point the reconciliation (katallassō) is completed because the believer has changed and is now aligned with God ... no more enmity.
You have no faith in the power of the Word of God ... God's Word spoken by a believe to a non-believer is powerful and gives life to the one who does not suppress the truth in unrighteousness. God is faithful to His promise.

I read nothing but proof texts by you. May I suggest you write and save your creed for sharing whenever requested as I do? (This suggestion goes for everyone actually.)
I already know it, you dont know what you talking about. Rom 5:10 has them Christ died for reconciled to God while being enemies. They are in the favor and good will of God, He is at peace with them. They are reconciled because they are Justified by His Blood Rom 5:9. You have to be legally righteous to be reconciled to God . It has nothing to do with the behavior of the ones He died for, in fact, they were ungodly when these legal transactions transpired on their behalf.
