Such an assertion is Biblically illiterate nonsense.
As you can readily ascertain,
Ephesians 1:21 resonates and concatenates flawlessly with all of the OT prophets and their proclamation of the AGE TO COME. And YES, Paul was perfectly well aware that this AGE TO COME was NOT his present Church age, rather it is the age FOLLOWING the CLOSURE of the Church age.
Dan 2:44 - “And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
Mat 12:32 - “Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the
age to come.
Mat 24:3
Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what
will be the sign of Your coming, and of
the end of the age?”
1Co 2:8 - which none of the rulers of
this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Eph 1:21 - far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in
this age but also in
that which is to come
Heb 6:5
and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the
age to come
