But he didn't make the images of himself. Nor did he ask anyone to worship them. They were made as a result of how others may see him, though they seem tongue in cheek to me.

You got me again. Can you explain what you mean by "exceptionalism"? I have never heard that term before.
They can do no wrong and are regarded as superior in all their undertakings one being ... "the most moral army."
I think I understand somewhat. It's hard these days if your heart is for evangelism. I traveled in evangelistic ministry 20yrs. But politics and social issues were not as strong as they are now. It was just beginning when I stopped traveling. But even trying to reach out to lost loved ones has become harder as issues such as trans, homosexuality, abortion... are now more center stage. My nephew said a while back when we were discussing homosexuality that they were "not bad people". No one corrected him so I waited until everyone was done speaking. Then I said " it's not a matter of a homosexual being a bad person or a good person. The issue is they are lost and in bondage without Jesus. It's up to us to present the Gospel so they will be convicted and come to know Him personally." Satan is out to destroy, we know his tricks. We need to stand against him.

Okay, thank you. Their history, as recorded in scripture, tells a completely different story, but these people have been so brainwashed that they refuse to see what is in their own Bibles. I think that it's time for me to post on another thread. This one is going nowhere fast. Thanks for your help.
Yes, I believe it does matter. In Canada a man lost the right to see his own child because he did not agree with transgenderism. I believe he may have done some time in jail. I'm not American by birth so it worries me when I see people sitting back when we have communism on our doorstep. The devil has come right on our doorstep and we have to stand for what is right.
But when you share the Gospel, it will get political. And I will tell you why. Because the left have their own secular religion. And you're going out there for souls, you're going to knock up against political /social issues. It's just the world we are living in today.

But I am not sitting back. Why can't you understand that? Surely you must know that the real fight is in the realm of the spirit, and not in the realm of politics. I am constantly engaged in that battle. When it comes to others, that primarily has to do with the sharing of the gospel. Politics are not going to change anybody's heart. The new birth can and will. I personally knew someone who was possibly the biggest bleeding-heart liberal Democrat of all time. I shared the gospel with him over the course of a few years, and he finally became a Christian. When he was born again, he totally changed for the better. No political talks required whatsoever.
No, I understand where you are coming from. I have cousins that I am trying to reach. They bring up the politics, not me. And I am trying to relay to them the Gospel but they are brainwashed by social media. I come up against it every single time.

You seem nice. You really do, but you are scaring me quite a bit because you speak of the Right as if they are sinless. I know many, many Republicans, and many of them claim to be Christians, who are horribly sinful people. This isn't merely a left/right issue. Instead, it is a truly regenerate or a truly unregenerate issue.

True. We know that, but social issues have become political issues.
Excellent! When people see it for themselves and make the change. The more that happens the better. But not every person will be reached the same way. I'm certainly all in on evangelism.
No, only one person was sinless and we know what happened to him. It's not that they are sinless, but their platform is the closest to Biblical beliefs.
Yep, and I am all the more forceful when I discuss with these people. To whom much is given, much is required.
No, I don't think that is the case. I'm talking about the platforms, what conservatives agree we stand for.
I have said before, maybe you haven't seen it, Muslims have been having dreams of Jesus, they are getting saved and baptized. The Bible says God wishes that none will go to hell. That's what evangelism is about. But God also says that at some point he will give people over to a reprobate mind. So those that commit crimes must still be held accountable. But that doesn't mean if they are sincere they can't go to heaven when their life is done.
I'd appreciate if you'd like to know what I believe you'd ask me, not take anothers word for it. Thank you.
