Very nice! Now, did God make the 7th day holy and the day we can spend THAT holy day with Him? Has that special day been labeled as Saturday and has been celebrated since….

Not just “a” counting of every 7th day but THE SABBATH. The only day in Gen. 2:2-3.
The 7th day, it is a math.

But overall need to understand Bible in a whole message, not bits and pieces. "Holy", to set a side. One day every 7 days to set aside to rest in God.
Jesus is in us, every day is Christ in us. Remember to live pure and Holy everyday to glorify His name.

You will not address the creation a the one and only holy day by God. It is you who have decided that any day, any 7th day can one worship OR, every day one can worship.

But they all do not obey His command. If God CREATED a Special Holy Day, do you really think we can, should think to change it? We do not get to decide what He has done, nor are we able to change it and then justify it for whatever reason. This comes from God, not me, not you, or the pope. It really is that simple- obey Him or the pope (little horn).

Between the two posters idk what what but I will speak truth the 6 day creation The 7th Day God Set as His Rest ,! Later in men as slaves God make the Sabbath for his people that forced the slave master to honor Also.Ti the new nation Jesus Now has created This Nation creation is Of The most High not of men And by this Dwelling inside of me Alive and Is in The Lord's Own Rest . If you don't have His Rest then I fear you been deceived.

Was the law from Moses or God.

Did God tell Moses what to write or did Moses decide the laws??

God did not Moses. Moses was used to write them and guide the people into the obedience to them.

God's law is not different to the law that Moses revealed. But God gave it not Moses.
God's law today has not changed but Jesus is still promoting God's law.
You don't understand the Mosaic law clearly and you do not understand New Testament or New Covenant Christianity nor do you acknowledge the work that Christ did on the cross that freed us from that law so spare us the heresy that was put down 2,000 years ago

No I don't not address OT laws , just the history and prophecys of The Branch NetZer

It is God's law not Moses law.
Yes, and God's law was given to Israel, not to gentiles. By the way, the term "Law of Moses" is used at least eight times in the bible.

I don't know why you refuse to accept that there is a new covenant. It is sealed in the blood of Christ. That's how important God sees it.

There is no grace in the Law. I don't know how you can claim to be born again. You reject the new covenant and seek to live under the old. Does God's word mean so little to you? Do you imagine that Jesus died and rose again so that we can try to obey the commandments that bring death? What do you believe that the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus means? According to you, nothing.

Ot is the shadow of Jesus, nt Jesus is the real deal.
All ot points to Jesus, even God s name, YHVH, points to Jesus.

Not saying ot is invalid, but entire Bible points to Jesus, only Jesus blood saves us, enter into blood covenant of Jesus.

I agree that the entire Bible points to Jesus. I also agree that only the blood of Christ saves, not the blood of animals, not ceremonies, and not human works.
But that does not answer the Sabbath question.

The seventh-day Sabbath was not first given at Sinai only to the Jews. It was created at creation, before there was a Jew, before Moses, before the sanctuary, and before ceremonial law. Genesis 2:2–3 says God rested on the seventh day, blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it. Jesus Himself said, “The Sabbath was made for man” — not merely for Israel — “and not man for the Sabbath” (Mark 2:27).

The fourth commandment does not create the Sabbath. It says, “Remember the Sabbath day.” That means it points back to something already established. And the reason given in Exodus 20 is creation itself: “For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth… and rested the seventh day.” So the Sabbath is rooted in creation, not merely in the Mosaic ceremonies.

I fully accept that the Old Testament shadows point to Christ. The sacrifices pointed to His blood. The priesthood pointed to His ministry. The sanctuary pointed to His work of redemption. But where does the Bible say the seventh day was changed to Sunday? Where does Jesus say He changed it? Where do the apostles command Christians to replace the seventh day with the first day?

Worshiping God every day is good. I agree with that. But worshiping God every day does not erase the day God specifically blessed and sanctified. I can honor my wife every day, but that does not erase the special meaning of an anniversary. In the same way, daily worship does not abolish the Sabbath.

The cross does not give man authority to change what God sanctified. Christ fulfilled the sacrificial system because His blood is the reality to which those sacrifices pointed. But the seventh-day Sabbath is not an animal sacrifice. It is part of the Ten Commandments, rooted in creation, spoken by God, written by His own finger, and reaffirmed by Jesus as made for man.

So yes, the Bible points to Jesus. But the Jesus it points to is also “Lord of the Sabbath” — not Lord of its abolition.

From creation to Moses, do you think they ever mis count the weeks?

From Moses to now, do you think kingdoms ever mis counted the weeks?

I am not so sure you want to support your interpretation with that response.

Why is it so difficult to read His Word and follow Him?

You, and millions of others are willing to stand behind the one who believes he has the authority to change God’s laws, His commandments, His Gospel, the same one who claims divinity, equal to God on earth, can forgive sins, is infallible, declares tradition and the magisterium is superior to Scripture, has designed a plan of salvation that differs from Jesus, and salvation can only be obtained through their sacraments and only through their church, and on and on ….

God has already revealed such an evil one in Daniel 7, 8, 11 and in the NT. He is the little horn, the evil one, the sea beast, the whore of Babylon….

This is the one you have been willing to support their change to His laws with, “do you think kingdoms miscounted the weeks?”

Jesus was very clear and detailed on how we are to obtain salvation, and the little horn has also been very clear and detailed on how we can be saved—— put them down on a piece of paper, side by side and it will be so clear who is preaching a very different Gospel.

Scripture has been so clear with us - choose to obey and worship the One true God or man. I choose God every time!

There is no grace in the Law. I don't know how you can claim to be born again. You reject the new covenant and seek to live under the old.
Being born again is dieing to self and the carnal nature and living a new life in Christ. It is a spiritual transformation where the divine nature is imparted to the human heart by the Holy Spirit, creating a new life of reconciliation and obedience to God. This experience is as real as our physical birth and is the essential requirement for seeing and entering the kingdom of heaven.

Rom 8: 7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

When we are born again, we become partakers of the divine nature. Just as earthly parents transmit their nature to their children, our Heavenly Father transmits His nature to us through His Word. 1 Peter 1:23: "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." 2 Peter 1:4: "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."

So being born again is about being born into the image of God and the image of God is obedient to His Laws.

The things we once loved, such as sin and selfishness, we now hate; and the things we once disregarded, such as God’s law and holiness, we now love.
1 John 3:9: "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."
Galatians 2:20: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

I do not live under the old covenant. You just have a wrong understanding of the two covenants. God's people are faithful, loving and kind in both covenants. God's people are obedient in both covenants.
The old failed because of man's faults not because of the laws God gave.
The new is based on the understanding of Jesus and His grace.
Old Testament believers looked forward to a great Redeemer and by faith believed.
We do no make the law void by faith in Jesus. Through grace that Jesus gives we do not transgress the law freely.

Because I love Jesus so much, I desire to obey the law, how is that wrong?

Psalm 119:97: "O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day."

Colossians 2:6: "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him."

You reject the new covenant and seek to live under the old. Does God's word mean so little to you? Do you imagine that Jesus died and rose again so that we can try to obey the commandments that bring death?
No.. I do not reject the New Covenant.
I do not live under the old.

If you believe and encourage your family to not kill or lie are you living under the old covenant?

The primary difference between the old and new covenants lies in the nature of the promises upon which they are established and the location where God’s law is written.. While both covenants are plans to bring violators of the moral law into harmony with God, they differ in their administration and the quality of the mediation provided.

The Old Covenant: Established at Sinai, this covenant was based on the people's promise of obedience to God's voice, essentially saying "Obey and live". It was considered "faulty" because it relied on the promises of fallen man, which were insufficient to meet their helpless condition. We can not do it in our own power.

The New Covenant: This "better covenant" is established upon "better promises"—the promise of God’s grace to forgive sins and the power of the Holy Spirit to renew the heart.. Hebrews 8:6. It was ratified by the blood of Christ, which provides a real remission of sins that the typical sacrifices of the old covenant could never accomplish Hebrews 10:4.

On Stone: Under the old covenant, the perfect moral law of the ten commandments was written by God on tables of stone. This external "letter" served to show sin but could not provide the strength to overcome it, thus bringing condemnation or a "ministration of death".
But in the Heart, the new covenant, God writes the very same law—the ten commandments—into the minds and hearts of His people
. This allows believers to serve in "newness of spirit" rather than the "oldness of the letter," as the law becomes an internal principle of life through the Spirit of God Romans 7:6

But remember ... Rom 7:13-14
13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

It is very unfortunate that folks just don’t understand that Israel had been given two covenants in their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 29:1).

(Deuteronomy 1:1-5) shows Moses explaining the second covenant on the Plains of Moab forty years after the first covenant Israel received at Mount Horeb in the desert of Sinai. As you read through the book you will notice that Moses writes about “this law” when speaking of the Moab Covenant and writes “His Law” when speaking of the covenant from Sinai. There is much difference between the two and the latter is the covenant which Hebrews tells us was now obsolete.

The Sinai Covenant from Mount Horeb was never cancelled and folks should consider the implications instead of their outright rejections.

Yes, Deuteronomy 29:1 distinguishes the covenant at Horeb from the covenant spoken in Moab. But no, that does not prove that the Ten Commandments were abolished, nor does it prove that Hebrews is only talking about the Moab covenant. The Moab covenant renews and applies the Horeb covenant to Israel before entering the land. Hebrews deals with the old covenant system as a whole, especially its priesthood and sacrificial administration, now fulfilled by Christ.

I Don’t believe I suggested the commandments were abolished. What I said…..was the Moab covenant (Deuteronomy.1.1-5) was abolished and was/is the covenant spoken of in Hebrews. The Sinai Covenant (The Ten Commandments) are not the obsolete covenant mentioned in Hebrews.

If it was misstated in my post…..please show me.

I think I see the problem. When I said the “latter” I was referring to the second covenant…..not Sinai.
