I am assuming that this question was meant for me. I will answer this question once, but I am not going to argue with you or anybody else about it. I will simply let you know a small part of what I believe and why, out of courtesy and for the sake of understanding my point of view, which you need not agree with. If you get argumentative or insulting after reading my response, then I will place you on ignore. I am not here to fight with anybody, but some people here seem more than ready to declare war on anybody who holds to a different set of beliefs than theirs.

I mentioned "Christian Zionism" to another member here, and you said that there is no such thing. There is such a thing, and here is the standard definition of it:

Basically, Christian Zionism refers to Christians who believe that Jews have a right to certain portions of land based upon an Old Testament promise made to Abraham and his seed. With such a belief, these people are always willing to join in military battles against Israel's enemies. By this definition, I am definitely not a Christian Zionist because I don't believe that they are properly interpreting that promise in the light of New Testament revelation, nor do I believe that Israel is always right when it is in a dispute with another nation.

At the same time, by another definition, which I believe to be biblically accurate, I am very much a Christian Zionist. In other words, I believe that there are several prophecies in scripture, like Psalm 2:6 and Micah 4:7-8, which indicate that Christ will reign over the earth from Mount Zion in Israel when he returns. Seeing how Jesus is the Christ, and seeing how I believe that he will eventually reign in Zion, I am a Christian Zionist in that sense.

The first type of Christian Zionism that I described is anti-Christian from my point of view because, based upon my understanding of Bible prophecy, I believe that it is helping to pave the way for the Antichrist to eventually be established in Jerusalem. I won't elaborate on that any further than I just did. Due to this belief, I also believe that anybody, whether those who profess to know Christ in America or any other nation, Donald Trump, or anybody else who supports that cause, is by definition an antichrist who is being led by the spirit of antichrist.

Like I said from the outset, this is just a small part of the reason why I personally believe that Trump is an antichrist, but not the Antichrist. In case you don't already know this, several of his spiritual advisors and cabinet members, as well as several other politicians here in America, readily admit that they are Christian Zionists according to the first definition that I gave. People like Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz, just to name two. Christian Zionism is a very real thing, especially here in America, and I definitely do not support that model. In fact, I believe it to be anti-Christian Zionism.

If anybody feels led to falsely accuse me of hating Jews or the nation of Israel, then please do not waste either your time or mine by doing so. I have nothing against anybody of any ethnicity or country. I simply believe that salvation is offered to everyone, whether Jew or Gentile, through Jesus Christ. Christ is my focus, and not any particular ethnicity or country.
pg, I see you are new on CC and so do not know that I am one of those who refuses to quarrel, and I am glad you share this desire.
I am also one of the few who invites critique, because I intend to speak the truth in love rather than resort to ad hominem insults.

I agree with your view regarding Zionism, and I believe Trump's policies are fairly close rather than being anti-Christ. Only judge his actions and ignore what others say about him. Are you aware of Trump's hope to create a Palestinian tourist mecca in Gaza?

Amen to your last paragraph!

But I think only a very slim amount of them feel it. If they are disagreed with here they would consider that persecution.
Online disagreements are fine, but when they turn into slander and such, then they become a waste of my time. I have faced much greater persecution for the cause of Christ than anything that could ever happen to me here.

I'm not normally surprised in a positive sense, but this was one of those rare occasions. Going forward, I am willing to discuss anything with anybody, as long as we keep it cordial.

Never cause in Christ for arrogance or fleshly division...as for zeal and exhortation, bring it! <grin>

He has repeatedly slandered me, then claimed I should be seeking peace with him about it, and
slandered me all over again, repeating his falsehoods. Some people are just plain untrustworthy.

This very short clip perfectly sums up what Christian Zionists believe:

Mike Huckabee, the US Ambassador to Israel, saying it would be fine if Israel took all of the land? That ought to be a major concern for any Bible-believing Christian. Whereas Tucker Carlson referred to Abraham's "descendants," the Bible says Abraham's "seed," and that seed is Christ. Galatians 3:16. Our politicians are either greatly deceived or just knowingly evil. Personally, I lean towards the latter of the two options.

Btw, I have watched the entire interview between Tucker Carlson and Mike Huckabee, and I can say with certainty that Huckabee has drunk the Kool-Aid. Ted Cruz is even worse.

The theology of the deeply-confused Ted Cruz, another Christian Zionist.

I have also seen this entire interview, and some of the other things that Cruz believes are even scarier than this.

Look at Covid and how the masses converged to get the vaccinations. That is what we call (Herd Mentality) and they blindly just did as told like a herd of sheep.
My brother caught the Covid-19 virus and he told me to get vaccinated because it hit him hard.

Vaccination is a simple medical procedure to guard against a virus such as Covid-19.

You do not want a foreign virus multiplying inside your body and trying to kill you, if you are elderly.

I do not understand the hysteria of the anti-vaccine crusade.

Good, but you did not answer my question: Are you aware of Trump's hope/plan to create a Palestinian tourist mecca in Gaza?

A tourist mecca is not good as in immoral.

Well, you may be right, although I had in mind the more benign definition of a place where families could enjoy beach activities.

Anyway, Trump's idea is to replace the war zone with a fun zone able to provide prosperity for poor Palestinians.
Does anyone have a better idea?

It is not for the indigenous people it is a playground for the elite.

Well, certainly the rich would be the investors who would hire the indigenous people,
sort of like how it works in the USA.
I hope Trump will retain oversight and fire any corrupt people.

Not how it is going to work ... they want to export the indigenous people or make them into serfs.
