But you said we were born with a deadened spirit.
When we were born body and soul. = meaning, spiritually dead.

In regeneration is when the Holy Spirit begets our human spirit. "Begets."
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit... John 3:6

That still gives you a hard time.

Birth!
Not revived (quickened)
Our SPIRITS are born AGAIN at the receiving of Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, then the Holy Spirit takes up residence in our bodies thereby quickening ( Greek 2227 dzo-op-oy-eh-o; from the same as 2226 and 4160; to (RE)vitilize(lit. or fig.): make alive, give life, quicken) our human spirits, not our bodies nor our souls. The Holy Spirit REvitilizes, makes alive and gives life to something already in existence, our spirits, which were deadened by being "shapened in iniquity and conceived in sin." Psm 51:5

We are for now through with you.
For there is little hope of you wanting to correct yourself.

So, we must simply use you now.
Use your stubbornness to show others what the Word of God teaches for those who are willing to learn and better understand.
And, to set and example of how to avoid those whom Peter described here... 2 Peter 3:15-16

Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul
also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his
letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are
hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other
Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Some things in God's Word are meant to be hard to understand.
It exposes or reveals who and what we really are.

There are those who make up shortcuts by distorting what the Word says, as to give what appears to be an answer.

"You must be born again."

In your thinking?

"You must wake up the deadened baby."

.
C.P.R., after all, the baby' s not DEAD. :-)))

The sin nature is passed from the father, not the mother. This is why Jesus was uniquely the "seed of a woman." Having no earthly father, He inherited no sin nature. It is also a biological miracle that He was male, since we know today that the Y chromosome is passed directly from father to son. Every other man on earth shares Adam’s Y chromosome, but Jesus was the only one to ever bypass that lineage.
Interesting. Sin can only pass through male?

Yeah, that's my question, Eve was actually the first human to sin but the responsibility fell on Adam because he was the one whom God spoke directly to, not his help meet. Jesus' blood was completely unique, one of one, neither Adam NOR Eve had anything to do with it's composition or it would have been tainted by sin, from either or both.

Jesus did not say....

Your spirit needs to be born again.

When he said... "Spirit begets spirit?
That meant?
Your human spirit needs to be born.

You can give me all the Greek words you want.
If you do not understand them in their correct context?
It will not be truth.

Sin entered the world through ONE MAN. Romans 5:12

The woman's ovum does not pass along the sin nature the the embryo.
The male sperm does.

That is why Jesus could be born sinless of a woman, but could not have a human father!

Yeah, he knew what born meant, as I do, but he got stuck on AGAIN, as you do :-))

Yes, but at least Nicodemus understood Jesus meant a second birth, not a birth and a resurrection.

You can't even get that right. First birth physical, second birth spiritual. That's the "again" part not two spiritual births which is what you are trying to turn it into and not even doing a good job of that as the second one isn't even a birth according to your "logic".

You're the one who cannot understand "again".

So sad. 😢

He seems to have trouble with context. ;)

He told Nicodemus he needed to be born again.

He did not tell Nicodemus that his human spirit needed to be born again.
As I asked before and never got a satisfactory answer, what part of man is born AGAIN, not the body as proven by the erxchange between Jesus and Nicodemus, nor the soul ( if that's what you think, scriptures please), that leaves the spirit as the only possible answer. We are responsible for renewing our minds with the Word of God, which is part of the soul, so, again, what part of man is born again?

Eve still did not contribute to the composition of the blood of Jesus. Eve was a sinner, she KNEW she wasn't supposed to eat the fruit of that tree, and that is sin. Adam and Eve were one. A mother and her child can have different blood types.

Correct me IF I'm wrong, but doesn't something have to die to be resurrected?

It is not about "what part" is born again.
It is the entire man who is born again.
For it is the change in the man's function that takes place with the second birth.

His first birth?

He was born only body and soul.
He was born as an natural human being.

The second birth?
He is then given a human spirit.
With his human spirit?
He then becomes one who is now able to comprehend the Bible truths as reality.

The renewing of the mind is a process enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit
by activating Bible truths, that have been stored in our human spirit, into transforming our ways of thinking.

Mary was in the line of David.
David was promised he would have a son who would be the messiah. 2 Samuel 7:12–16

So? Jesus had to be genetically from the line of David.

There were Jews who learned this from being taught the Torah.

And, that is why we saw certain Jews crying out to Jesus as "son of David."

Luke 18:37-39
They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”
He called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet,
but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

If Mary was genetically out of the loop of the body of Jesus?
Jesus could not have been a son of David!

The Lord prophesized that the ovum of the woman would not transfer the fallen nature defect! (Gen 3:15)

But, it was through one man that sin entered the word. (Rom 5:12)
For it is the man's sperm that transfers the genetic defect of the fallen nature.
That is why Jesus could have no human father.

Born again= RE-born or spiritual RE-birth. You are wrong on this point, but it's alright, we ALL know in part.

" And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed, it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel." Gen 3:15. Where, in that passage of scripture, do you get that the " ovum of the woman would not transfer the fallen nature defect."??? You made that up, didn't you? Or was it from one of your mysterious teachings that not many are privy to? Jesus had no human father because God said " I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto Me, thou art My Son; this day have I begotten Thee." Psm 2:7

I'm referring to Jesus's blood, it had no human contributors. ALL human blood was tainted by sin. That is why I pointed out that the mother can have a different blood type than the child.

His heel." Gen 3:15. Where, in that passage of scripture, do you get that the " ovum of the woman would not transfer the fallen nature defect."???

How can we know?

For that is how the body of Jesus was conceived.
We know he had no fallen nature.
Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:
“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire,
But a body You have prepared for Me.

Hebrews 10:5
