Especially when some in the West will actually ban parents today naming a child "Adolf Hitler" because the name is so offensive to others, and yet when others are calling for something 50 - 100 times worse than what Hitler has ever been accused of (e.g. genocide of Iran), no outrage or similar restrictions on such warmongers and vampires.While I understand the point Godwin was making and it is valid, sometimes one has to make a comparison since it does give an idea of where a society/leader(s) stands on the spectrum of evil.
It reminds me of the recent travesty of justice in the UK (and likely elsewhere too) - it's okay for people to be murdered, so long as no one is accused of being racist to the criminal.
