How can you claim that this is possible when you haven't done it yourself?

If you have never completed a 40-day and 40-night fast yourself, yet you say it is possible, then you are seriously misleading people.

How pitiful are the people who believe your words. They are like the blind being led by the blind; both will fall into the ditch.
MATTHEW 15:14
14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
He is a fool indeed who cannot learn from the experience of others.

Simply saying 'Jesus is Lord' does not automatically make it true.
MATTHEW 7:22-23
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Simply saying it doesn't make it true, but the Bibe says it, and that does make it true:

(Act 10:36 NKJV) The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all

(Php 2:9 NKJV) Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
(Php 2:10) that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
(Php 2:11) and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us a great warning about False Christ & Prophets

MATTHEW 24:23-24
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
In all totalitarian regimes the type of goverment, the system, the ideology is called to be the true one, and everything else is under suspicions. So, it is not like those folks, when they come to power, and to ideological rule, claims that they may be mistaken.

Besides, if someone naive but not threatening to them claims that there are perhaps some imperfections in the ideology, and tries to remedy those, then those "powers that be" claim that he is just weak in mind, or not sufficiently qualified, reasonably or even good to understand the mysteries of their ideology. And so he is supposed to consult the learned to be explained what is right and what is not right.

Was it not so with the Soviet-regime, Nazi-regime, LGBT-regime, or any religious regime where the understanding is said to be kept to the accepted faith without any doubts, even though it may be shown from the Word, that some things are not quite in agreement with that ideology, and also sound reason.

Yes, no one can truly shed light on how the Lord Jesus practiced fasting (even the real chosen of God) except the Lord Himself. He is able to reveal the truth about fasting to those who ask with humility. However, when fasting is understood according to the devil's interpretation, that is, only in a literal or physical sense, the Lord will no longer reveal the deeper truth about it. For to understand fasting merely in a literal way and to fulfill it only literally is an act of pride before God.

True understanding comes from seeking God's revelation with a humble heart rather than relying solely on human interpretation.
That only comes by the Holy Spirit heart is clean already then invisible fruits are seen that should grow Faith to to greater kevel

God has done so, plainly, in Scripture.

For to understand fasting merely in a literal way and to fulfill it only literally is an act of pride before God.
Wrong again. Nothing in Scripture supports your opinion.

Or not, because you don’t understand what it means to follow Jesus’ steps.

~~ The Battle against God's Sabbath ~~

The Great Controversy between Christ and Satan ultimately comes down to a battle of worship, truth, and obedience. In this framework, anyone who takes upon themselves the role of preaching and teaching Scripture is operating under either the Spirit of Truth or the spirit of error. The message they declare—whether it aligns with God’s holy law, particularly God's Sabbath and the true biblical Jesus, or with human tradition and disobedience—identifies them with either the true prophetic movement of God, His remnant Church having the "Spirit of Prophecy" or the deceptive "False Prophet", presenting the Antichrist spirit in this world.

Here is how this is explained through the KJV Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy:

1. Testing the True vs. False Prophet by Doctrine and the "True Jesus"
Ellen White and the pioneers taught that you cannot determine a true teacher or prophet by miracles, charisma, or sincerity alone. The ultimate test is their adherence to the Law of God and the testimony of Scripture. If a preacher teaches that God’s law (including the Sabbath) is abolished, they are preaching a "false Jesus" and operating under a false spirit, the spirit of Antichrist, the spirit of " The Dragon, The Beast and the False Prophet."

  • Isaiah 8:20 (KJV): "To the law and to the testimony: if they the speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."
  • 1 John 4:1 (KJV): "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."
  • 2 Corinthians 11:4 (KJV): "For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, ye might well bear with him."
  • Matthew 7:15, 20 (KJV): "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves... Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
2. The Remnant Church and the Spirit of Prophecy
The remnant church at the end of time is a prophetic movement. Because they have fully surrendered to Christ, He dwells in them through the Holy Spirit. This indwelling of Christ empowers them to live obediently, keeping the commandments. By having the "testimony of Jesus," which the Bible defines as the "Spirit of Prophecy," the remnant acts as God’s true prophetic voice to a dying world, calling people back to authentic worship.

  • Galatians 2:20 (KJV): "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
  • Romans 11:5 (KJV): "Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace."
  • Revelation 12:17 (KJV): "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
  • Revelation 19:10 (KJV): "...worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
3. Apostate Protestantism as the "False Prophet"
The "False Prophet" of Revelation 16:13 is Apostate Protestantism. When the Protestant churches rejected the advancing light of truth (such as the Sabbath and the state of the dead) and chose to cling to papal traditions, they lost the true Holy Spirit. Consequently, they are filled with another spirit. Though they preach "Jesus," it is a disobedient Jesus who allegedly breaks God's law. Because they lack the true "Spirit of Prophecy," they are left to be guided by the "unclean spirits like frogs."

  • Revelation 16:13-14 (KJV): "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."
  • Matthew 15:9 (KJV): "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
  • 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (KJV): "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
In The Great Controversy ... Ellen White explicitly warned that in the last days, the final conflict will be between the true Spirit of God (manifested in a commandment-keeping remnant who have Christ dwelling within them) and a counterfeit spirit (manifested in apostate Christianity). The "False Prophet" will use signs, emotional preaching, and false doctrines to deceive the world into breaking God's law, while the true remnant will lift up the genuine Jesus, who saves His people from their sins, not in their sins.

False Prophets preach & teach disobedience & a "false Jesus".

Preaching a "disobedient Jesus" means presenting a counterfeit version of Christ who allegedly abolished His Father's moral law (the Ten Commandments) or authorized the breaking of it—specifically the fourth commandment, the seventh-day Sabbath.

When Apostate Protestantism teaches that the law of God was "nailed to the cross" or that grace removes the Christian's obligation to keep the commandments, they are fundamentally altering the character of Christ. They present a Jesus who excuses sin (which is the transgression of the law) rather than a Jesus who empowers His followers to overcome it.

Here is how they preach a "disobedient Jesus" and the KJV Bible verses that expose this error:

1. Teaching that Jesus Destroyed or Changed the Law
Apostate Protestantism often preaches that Jesus came to do away with the rigid law of the Old Testament, suggesting that He broke the Sabbath to show it was no longer binding, or that He instituted a "new law" that replaced the Ten Commandments. By teaching this, they preach a Jesus who is at war with the Father's eternal law. The true Jesus explicitly denied this.

  • Matthew 5:17-18 (KJV): "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
  • Romans 3:31 (KJV): "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law."
2. Teaching that Jesus Saves People "IN" Their Sins
By rejecting the Sabbath and telling their congregations that obedience to God's literal law is "legalism," false teachers promote a "disobedient Jesus" who supposedly saves people in their continuous transgression of the law, rather than from it. The Bible defines sin strictly as breaking the law. A Jesus who allows you to continue willingly breaking the law (like keeping Sunday, a papal tradition, instead of God's holy Sabbath) is a counterfeit Jesus.

  • 1 John 3:4 (KJV): "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."
  • Matthew 1:21 (KJV): "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Note: From their sins, not in their sins).
  • Jude 1:4 (KJV): "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ." (Lasciviousness here refers to a license to sin/disobey under the guise of grace).
3. Ignoring the True Jesus' Own Obedience
The true Jesus of the Bible was perfectly obedient to the Father's commandments, including the Sabbath.
( Luke 4:16 JKV ). Preachers of a "disobedient Jesus" strip away Christ's role as our perfect example of obedience. If Jesus kept the commandments, and He lives in us through the Holy Spirit ( Galatians 2:20 KJV ), then His Spirit IN US will also keep the commandments. To claim to know Jesus while refusing to obey His law is identified by Scripture as a falsehood.

  • John 15:10 (KJV): "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."
  • 1 John 2:4 (KJV): "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
  • Galatians 2:17 (KJV): "But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid."
Ellen White frequently warned about this specific deception in the last days. In The Great Controversy, she wrote about the error of "Antinomianism" (anti-law theology) that permeates apostate churches:

"Many religious teachers assert that Christ by His death abolished the law, and men are henceforth free from its requirements... But if it had been possible for the law to be changed or abrogated, then Christ need not have died to save man from the penalty of sin. The death of Christ, so far from abolishing the law, proves that it is immutable." (The Great Controversy, p. 466).

By holding onto Sunday worship (a commandment of men) and rejecting the seventh-day Sabbath (a commandment of God), Apostate Protestantism preaches a "disobedient Jesus." They fulfill Christ's warning in Matthew 15:9 (KJV): "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."

Because they reject the true Spirit that leads to obedience, they are left to the deceptive, unclean spirits, .....of ~~>( Revelation 16:13 KJV )

According to people's belief, fasting is a plain and clear word or command from the Lord God.
Therefore, they observe it literally and physically, since that is the only way people are able to understand God's words.
However, the truth is that it is not a plain statement but a parable. The Lord God intentionally made it a dark saying to test people whether they would humbly ask God for understanding, or whether they would refuse to ask because they assume they already understand it.
PSALMS 78:2
2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

But where did your understanding that it is a parable come from? Is it from asking humbly? How did you come about this belief?

Wrong. It’s not a parable. Your self-delusion is blinding you to the plain truth of Scripture.
God is truly good, for He reveals what is hidden in the hearts of people, so that it may be known whether they are of God or not.
God Himself declared that He speaks in parables and dark sayings (Psalms 78:2 & Ezekiel 20:49); yet you insist that the fasting of the Lord Jesus for forty days and forty nights was entirely literal and not a parable or a spiritual mystery.

By doing so, your understanding mirrors the devil's own literal interpretation of that fasting. Seeing that the Lord Jesus had fasted, the devil assumed that His hunger was merely physical. Therefore, he tempted Him, saying that the stones should be turned into bread to satisfy that hunger.

Likewise, you interpret fasting only in a literal sense.
But in spiritual matters, there are only two paths: the way of God and the way of His adversary.
The question is this: Whom shall we believe the words spoken by God or the reasoning of the enemy?

From your interpretation, it is evident that you have chosen to trust the enemy's understanding rather than the revelation of God.
In this way, God is exposing those who are not truly of Him. This message is for the lost sheep, that they may not be deceived by false prophets, but instead seek the truth that comes from God alone.

MATTHEW 4:3
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

The Lord knows His own sheep.

It is easy for people to claim that they belong to God's flock, for even the Jews, especially the Scribes and Pharisees, claimed that the God they worshiped was the true God.
JOHN 8:41
41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

However, since they did not truly know the God they claimed to worship, the Lord Jesus did not acknowledge their claim that they were of God." That is why the Lord Jesus even called them liars.
JOHN 8:54-55
54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

So you are claiming that Jesus is not Lord? That would explain much.
You cannot truly comprehend the truth, for understanding comes from God.
It is given only by the Lord God to those who know Him, and coming to know the Lord Jesus is itself a miracle granted by God.
Therefore, it is not surprising that your answer is far from the truth.
PROVERBS 2:6
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
