If this one disciple had inside contacts it's not a stretch to think that Judas also has some access.

And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest. But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter. John 18:15-16
That is speaking about John and I doubt he would have been told in time about the last minute secret Council meeting or we would have read in his Gospel all about it.

Being known and knowing about last minute secret plans are far from being the same thing.

These dudes did miraculous deeds just like Judas.
Were they saved at one time?

Matthew 7 NIV

True and False Disciples

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22;Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Not to mention it’s common knowledge that a person needs to prove THEIR positive statement, and others do not need to prove a negative.

You have not in the slightest proven that Judas was saved. That’s because you can’t. He wasn’t, and there is zero Biblical evidence that he was.
There's getting Saved and then pursuing a Relationship with the One who saved you and there's getting saved and just assuming it is a slam dunk guarantee without knowing your Savior.

I don't want to be contentious either but surely it is wrong to say that nowhere in the Bible is anyone referred to as "saved." Just a few verses where Christian believers are referred to as "saved":

(Act 2:47) Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

(Act 16:31) And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

(Rom 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

(Eph 2:8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Then there are the verses that talk of salvation, that is, being saved.
To human understanding, the verses mentioned and explained by preachers can be very appealing because they make salvation appear simple. However, the reality is that salvation is not easy.
MATTHEW 19:24-25
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
MATTHEW 7:13-14

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Yes , I get it bit , that still leaves my question about what people think about the verses from Matthew that I pointed out . No one have anything to say about them ?

Yes. I understand what Judas’ sin was because I read the Scripture that tells us what his sin was.
It seems like you are avoiding to answer the question.

Then can you tell us how was Judas's sin unique compared to our sins?

What is our sins?

What is Judas uniqe sin?

Sorry for not mentioning them. Here they are:

(Mat 27:3) Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
(Mat 27:4) saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." And they said, "What is that to us? You see to it!"
(Mat 27:5) Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.

Taken together with what Jesus says about Judas being a son of perdition, I see the Matthew 27 verses as showing that Judas was not a saved sinner. He had remorse, but not repentance. His actions, throwing down the money, and going and committing suicide, don't seem to fit with true repentance.

I hate to b contentious , however , no where in the Bible is anyone referred to as ' saved ' . No , it doesn't say that Judas was / is saved , because that term is not applied to believers . Please read Matthew Ch 27 v 3-5 . I'm not giving my opinion either way because , my opinion doesn't matter , all that matters is what the Bible says . Again , I promise I'm not trying to b contentious , just pointing out a scripture and asking what people think when they read it .
I completely and totally agree with you!

That’s the whole point. How can the poster say that Judas was saved at one time and then did something to lose that salvation?

There is ZERO evidence that Judas was EVER saved. And quite a bit to suggest he wasn’t.

Ummm… ok. Whatever that means.

I hope you understand that what is for the flesh, the body, or physical life is separate from spiritual life. They cannot be mixed. I’m sorry, but from my understanding of your explanation, it applies to the physical life of humans. Physical life refers to things like economics, science, and politics. There are sins that apply only to physical life. However, what we are discussing here is spiritual life, the things that belong to God.
MATTHEW 22:21
21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
Let us consider, God created the heavens and the earth, that is both the spiritual and the physical. There is some evidence that certain laws, you know laws created by God, that apply in both realms. Now you seem to be claiming that the laws created by God for the physical realm, even though they might also apply in the spiritual realm. can be violated without violating God's law. Is that correct?

If it is not correct, then your argument falls apart as violating any physical law, even just by false belief, becomes a sin, and thus the assumption that we are separable individual entities is a very basic sin and automatically leads to all other sins, just as stated in Romans 1:25.

I believe what is written in Scripture. You can read it for yourself.

You are wrong about this; Scripture is truth.
Are you not aware that even the devil uses Scripture? How, then, can you claim that Scripture is truth?"

MATTHEW 4:5-6
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

PSALMS 91:12

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

That is why he was telling the Lord Jesus to do what the devil thought was the truth.

However, the truth is God's revelation of the truth in His Word, and not merely what is written.

Therefore, the Lord Jesus portrayed the devil as one in whom there is no truth, even though the words he spoke were taken from Scripture
JOHN 8:44
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Therefore, your declaration that 'Jesus is Lord' would not be regarded as truth by the Lord, since it is merely your own statement.

However, if those who truly follow the Lord Jesus, or those whom He has chosen, declare that 'Jesus is Lord,' the Lord will accept it because what they say is a revelation from God to them and does not originate from themselves.

All humans above an extremely young age have a sense that they are separable distinct entities. Psychiatry recognizes that as a lie that causes innumerable problems, including every one spelled out in Romans. Quantum physics also recognizes it as a lie, that in truth we are all interconnected and that whatever someone does to any other entity within creation we do to ourselves. What greater root could possibly exist? Because of this false belief, we attack ourselves as well as the rest of creation, and without outside healing, condemn ourselves to death.

Yet God knows each one as distinct. I suppose you know all about quantum physics or just physics in general? smh

You are wrongly convinced that I don’t know God. You will go to any length to twist my words to support your demonic thesis. I leave you to the judgment that awaits you before God’s throne.

Where does it say it was John?

I don't understand what we're discussing. Judas went to the leaders and offered to betray Jesus. He didn't have to know any of them because they had already put the word out to the public for someone to come tell them where he was.

I consider Judas and Peter as example of earthly and godly sorrow, and where their repentance ultimately returns them.

Ummm… ok. Whatever that means.
It means not everyone Saved is trying to formulate a relationship with the One who saved them.

Those who have Yeshua knows.
Those who don't Yeshua doesn't know just like Matthew 7 is talking about.

Just because Judas did what he did doesn't mean he knew what the Council voted for.
