While there are historical narratives in scripture, they are not written as history. The history acts as a frame for the events
that the writers of scripture portrayed.
I understand that is not something you wish to accept and I do not care about that. However, for understanding to those who actually do care, the Bible consists of both an Old and a New Testament. Within are 66 books written in 3 languages. While some
believe their inaccurate representations of the Bible revolve on their own considerations, it is actually quite a bit more complicated
than that.
You can read about the history OF the Bible, but you cannot find the Bible listed as an historical document other than as deals
with Israel. The Bible is a spiritual book and many choose to ignore that as well, thinking God has made Himself available
for all to bring Him into their understanding rather than uplifting their understanding of God into what He has revealed.
Again, I can't help the fact that some people prefer to stay ignorant and enjoy mocking others.
Try to take your mind out of the framework of limiting everyone who doesn't make jokes out of the truth like you do.
How about the last 2000 yrs? Where did that go? The Bible concerns itself with SOME of the history of God's interaction
with a specific group of people who became a nation who were in covenant with Him. The Bible was written to illustrate
those events.
There is evidence of the flood in other literature which supports the biblical narrative. That is not theory or conjecture.
The Bible is a spiritual book, not a history rendition of Israel, and deals with specific events to reveal God to us and how
He revealed Himself to the nation of Israel which began through one man.
You obviously have no clue how fossils are formed and I really don't care. What I do care about, is how you and others misrepresent what the Bible does say. There are no dinosaurs mentionned in scripture...but we do have fallen angels and giants.
I accept that you will not and possibly cannot, see futher or deeper than your current understanding. Now that could change
but won't under your present belief that you are the last word on all things Bible.
Gotta say it's rather amusing (but also annoying) that people who know the least about science are always the ones trying to say it supports their scientifically bankrupt claims (that they just repeat like parrots from the TV or wherever else they picked it up - school friends or some opinionated old guy trying to sell his boring book).
You've got history (the bible) and real science on your side, but the ignorant accuse you of being dense?
An honest person will say, well science is not my field of study and I have no formal training but based on my readings this is what I believe, but then does not hold much weight so everyone pretends they are scientists... yes both amusing and annoying since I have seen first hand what it takes to gain the title of scientist.

Dinosaurs are giants. Dragons are just what people USED to call dinosaurs. Get it right.

Yes the Bible is a spiritual book but it is ALSO a history book. It doesn't have to be one or the other. You have a very narrow intreptation and then accuse others of misunderstanding, which you yourself demonstrate.
This is why you get into difficulties in discussions because you are not willing to investigate. And YOU don't care enough to do so.
As always we can ask God 'is what's written in the Bible true or false? It might seems a little presumptuous but it's Gods prerogative to keep things mystery and for us to ask Him to find out.

The mystery that He was talking about is the gospel. He tells things what He wants us to know, and need to know, to be saved.
Those 4 gospels, as they’re called, were written by God through 4 different eyewitnesses. There is no speculation, no fantasies, just a pure account seen by 4 different eyewitnesses who saw things happening. Even Grok, who analyzed the 4 accounts w/o biases, said there were NO discrepancies (which floored everyone!). Each eyewitness picked up on different things, like what people would do at a crime scene, but the main ideas were intact/ the same.
The Bible isn’t just any book though, it’s God breathed, written by God through man; there is NO other book in the world that is so beautifully written!! Zilch/ hiçbir şey/ nada.

This thread is a poster child for ignorance and a showcase for answers that smack of superstition and a lack of understanding.

People marvel at how congregate the Bible is in light of the period of 1500 years and 40 different authors that reveal God's spirit
directing and revealing it's message to human kind.
Good guess, because there are plenty of frozen life forms discovered.
There are actually various dinosaurs found in dinosaur grave yards. One is a complete Nodosaur that I recognize from my children's book previously named Anklyosaurus. It had its scales, unfossilized intestines, microscopic soft tissue unfossilized in other dinos too. That doesn't keep wicked (or just plain foolish ) archaeologists from claiming that they are over a hundred million years old because they are woefully superstitious.
Blood cells and proteins like collagen have been verified in different dinosaurs like T Rex too.
Trees have been found upright through many layers which proves that the layers were the same age. The lie that umpteen millions of years were between the geological layers is a deliberate fiction.
Most places they were laid down rapidly in a giant flood.
That's why we see sharks and whales inland and in North America with dinosaurs. The sea washed them inland and they were rapidly covered.
A best friend and Christian archeologist took me fossil hunting. We found an extinct tree root that was in the surface layer. I have shown that in my fossil shows.
John had a Museum and a huge fossil collection.

If a child has an enquiring mind, and let's face it many boys are absolutely FASCINATED with dinosaurs, they will ask the question of what happened to them, and you can ask them, well, what do YOU think.

In most cases, the animals have been hunted to death, or their habitat changed and they no longer had the food they once had.
There are many reasons, but having lived on a land where there were NO large mammals and had the largest birds of any known to man, (the moas) and birds that have gone extinct (thanks to europeans love of feathers) none of us entertain the notion that whatever is not living or around today must be millions of years old.

There are so many museums and archaeological active digging sites that they can visit, today. So much evidence!!

I do believe the Smithsonian took control of the info of such things. They either change the evidence, or suppress it; it’s known that they’ve dumped barge fulls of giant bones in the ocean. There are many verses regarding giant humans in the Bible, they were as tall as cedar trees in Lebanon (the tallest cedars come from Lebanon— 100’). This makes sense since another verse describes a normal human as big as a grasshopper in their sight. This was all suppressed!

That's right, the Smithsonian keeps the majority of their collections in storage. My friends John and Verda went on trips with the Smithsonian all over the country. They had some interesting pictures.
There's always been heavy competition amongst the big museums. Unfortunately they all push evilutionism and fake ages. The best thing is to go on a church tour with someone like us who will speak about the archeology from a Biblical perspective.
There were certainly giant sharks, reptiles, insects/arthropods, mammals and trees. My favorites are teeth from Megalodon a giant species of extinct shark. You've probably seen pictures online or in the Guinness Book of World Records.
I bought one and my friends found a lot of them. Some of them are as big as your hand.
As to humans, the Bible describes giant men with measurements that are comparable to Robert Wadlow.
I started a thread about him a couple years ago. Maybe a search will bring it up with giant in the title under my name.

The sizes described in the Bible are comparable to him, whereas the uninspired book of Enoch describes giants far bigger than King Kong. It's a book of fiction with it ascribed to the pre flood Enoch, ancestor of Noah. There's also Photoshop hoaxes online about human bones that have been far beyond the Biblical description. Anything like those should be considered suspect.
The Bible descriptions like Goliath are major indeed. I think that the fake photos replace the true credibility of real giants, so we want to stand on the word of God and what we can confirm for certain. That said, the big museums go out of their way to avoid confirmation of anything that confirms the truth about our Bible. Some of the displays break my heart when I know that children are misled away from the Lord.

Yes, I went to a Creation museum someplace in the Midwest (?). It opened my eyes, even more so.
No doubts, whatsoever! I would even venture to say that some still exist. The flood didn’t affect the sea creatures.
Wadlow was a small giant, guaranteed!! He was close to Goliath (which was considered a small giant of 9’), Bigfoot height.
The Biblical giants were naturally ginormous; there were no defects like they claim in today’s giants. Today’s giants have abnormalities, because God destroyed the root of these giants
(Amos 2:9).
