If you have never been on them, how do you know how people judge there?

I have no idea how people are judged, because I have never been on them. But you seem to know a lot about it...
A smart man learns from his own mistakes, a wise man learns from others' mistakes.

BTW, knowing something by experience and knowing ABOUT something by hearsay are two different things. And I'm glad it's the latter in this case.

So both of us have never been on a dating site. Both of us have no personal experience with how it works. Both of us have heard tales from others...

But only one of us is going around spouting these tales as though he has personal experience with such things.

By the way you really do need to improve your response time. I'm waiting ages for your replies.

How have I changed my tune? If you're single, how is marriage more than an abstract concept to you?
Although you initially stated that marriage was abstract, you are now arguing the abstraction applies exclusively to singlehood. That's a deviation from your original premise.

Then don't and try your luck.

Real or not, ask yourself, is that what Christ died for?

So because Christ didn't "die for" people to get married, nobody should bother with marriage. Huh?

If you personally don't want to marry that's fine. Nothing wrong with that. If you, personally, want nobody to bother with marriage, well, I guess you can want that, too.

Maybe you're surprised that some Christians want marriage or pursue it. Very well. I'm not.

If marriage is such a big and worldly waste of time, maybe Jesus and Paul should have just forbidden it altogether, instead of permitting it, haha.

Meanwhile the other one of ones seems to be in favor of "such things“ and tempting me to go there.

No I really think that is a bad idea. You definitely should not go there. I have heard tales...

But you also shouldn't talk like you know. You don't know. You've never been there.

Or have you...?

Or maybe it's you misreading my words, forgetting the context of this thread and this board.

Definitely not. Since I've told you dating in person is risky enough, do you really think I'd opt for the riskier virtual version?

Neither Jesus nor Paul led by example, nonetheless.

Strawman tactics have grown old on you.

Awww, lookatchoo gettin all triggered when someone makes an assumption about you, that's so cute! 😊

Yet you fail to see why it is a problem when you do it to LITERALLY EVERYONE RLSE ON THE BOARD.

Your lack of awareness is staggering. I can see why the dating sites haven't worked out for you.
