We are not to follow God's statutes. Jews (whom it was written to) were to be under Law.
And, you keep slamming the door on its context.
Ezekiel 36: 24 tells us to whom it was written!

"For I will take you from among the heathen,
and gather you out of all countries,
and will bring you into your own land.

Can you comprehend what that says?

Ezekiel speaks of the Jews of the Millennium!
Right now they are scattered all over the planet!

And, we too have been given a new heart.
But, not to be following the Law as Jews do.
But, to walk in the transforming power of the Spirit of God.
Not under Law as a Jew.

Calvinism is taught as if it were law.
Rigid and closed-minded.
Weak believers need that sort of teaching in an attempt to feel strong.
Spiritual believers' inability to agree with TULIP makes to feel strong because you can do something they can not.

But it is not a matter of not being able to.
The new heart in us sees through the falsehoods of TULIP, and we refuse to be bullied into obedience to the laws of your denominational cult. Nor, do we agree with Arminianism which you throw out as your straw man and then plug your ears.

Cameron. I do not know what you are going to do when the Lord shows you He did send believers your way to show
you what you keep ignoring in your slandering of the character of God.

View attachment 290914All is not good.
We are to discern between Good and Evil.

Not good.
You keep failing to comprehend the nature of God's love and integrity, and prefer the company of your friends who agree with you in knowing that "we stupid" ones just do not get it. It's an ego clique.

.....

Yes God's integrity another good point indeed.

The offer of Christ Jesus as He spoke to the people is not really a good faith offer is it.......but they never want to deal with these issues do they?

So then explain why Jesus is the good news, otherwise talk is cheap. A mormon will say Jesus is good news

Are you still denying Jesus is the Good News? How embarrassing for you.

Fancy being caught putting a man's theology as more important than the living Jesus Christ.

Quite unbelievable. I can't understand why you are not hanging your head in shame. 😲

They have yet to break free of the slave mentality they feel safe in maintaining.
They are really snobs. They find normal Christians as inferior thinkers and repulsive.
TULIP builds walls of isolation around them for them to be away from the commoners.

Every false doctrine serves a purpose of various ways of certain people's flesh.

The Lord is saving that right to cause it if he does not repent before that show down.

Shame?
Some love the approbation they receive from fallen angels who know how to manipulate and flatter the egos of some.

Hello Brightfame52.

I will give you a warning regarding your idea that Calvinism is The Gospel.

Here is what you said below in your post #335.

"Read the postings Im explaining why its the Gospel"

The apostle Paul wrote the actual Gospel down below and no one can add anything to that Gospel.

Read every word in the Gospel below very carefully.

1 Corinthians 15
Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received,
in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you,
unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received,
that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised
on the third day according to the Scriptures
, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

The Gospel ( 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 ) is the foundation on which we stand.

"in which also you stand"

The Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) is how we are saved.

"by which also you are saved"

Everything else written in the scripture is of secondary importance.

A fuller gospel version nor has an expanded Gospel version ever existed.

Calvinism has nothing to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ that Paul wrote.

I would ask you to retract the following erroneous statement you made below in post #335.

"Read the postings Im explaining why its the Gospel"

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary
to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! As we have said before,
even now I say again: if anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what
you received, he is to be accursed! Galatians 1:8-9
We have been required to live through it....
If God can't reach them through others knowing the truth?

So it must be allowed to be.

Interesting.

However it does seems rather strange that they would see normal Christians as inferior thinkers when they mostly harp on the same cherry picked verses and over again.

I guess they carry a very slim Bible!!

The problem with your argument is that it is wrong = Scripture very plainly says *the natural man is a God hater
refusing to come into the Light because he loves darkness and is a slave to sin, opposed to the Spiritual
things of God, blind to truth which he can neither receive nor comprehend and incapable, see that word???
INCAPABLE of obeying or submitting to God. *He serves the law of sin which brings forth fruit unto death.

John6-44-1-Corinthians2-14-Romans8-7-8.png

"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him." John 6 verse 44 The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2 verse 14 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8 verse 7-8
Hatred of God is found in the willful, stubborn, distorting of His Word.

Romans 1 v 30 Explicitly lists "haters of God" alongside other descriptions of those who reject Him.
Romans 8 v 7 States that "the mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to
God’s law, nor can it do so". This is a problem with free willers: they continually deny Scripture.
Then they mock it. Then they slander those who uphold it. Then some blaspheme God. Tell us
God would never do the things He is shown to do throughout Scripture, or if He did He would be
being unfair, when Scripture is full - front to back- of examples of God doing the very thing they decry.
Magenta, Sister,

you seem to take verses about man's sinful condition and turns them into a denial of the many places where Jesus calls people to respond, repent, believe, obey, and come to Him.

Romans 1:30 and Romans 8:7 certainly teach that sinful man is hostile toward God. No Christian should deny that mankind is fallen and needs God's grace. The problem comes when those verses are used to teach that people cannot meaningfully respond to God's call or that God does not genuinely invite all to come. Jesus our Lord, repeatedly spoke as though people were responsible for their response to Him:

Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
Repent ye, and believe in the gospel. (Mark 1:15)
If any man willeth to do his will, he shall know of the teaching. (John 7:17)
Ye will not come to me, that ye may have life. (John 5:40)

Notice that Jesus says "will not come," not "cannot come because you are incapable."

Jesus also taught that God's desire extends beyond a select few:
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto myself. (John 12:32)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

The issue Jesus emphasizes is not that people lack all ability to recognize truth, but that they love darkness rather than light:
And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light. (John 3:19)

The Bible teaches that man is sinful and needs God's grace. But Jesus never taught that people are mere spectators with no real responsibility to hear, repent, believe, obey, and follow Him. In fact, His entire ministry was built on calling people to do exactly that.

You should have posted my entire post. You didn't because you couldn't refute it. Grace isn't the ability to do something. Grace is when you actually do something.

We are saved by grace. Grace is the power of God manifested in and for an individual. So, if one is saved by grace, they are not saved because God can save them, but because He exercises His power in and through them. The activity that produces the salvation is performed by God.

The verses in Ezekiel reveal what God's grace actually produces. He gives new hearts and spirits, and places His Spirit within them. That is grace: God exercising His power to effect change in the individual. And it is the exercise of God's grace that causes individuals to respond according to the command to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

And all is good for Christians even if it doesn't appear so in the present if God makes all things good for those that love Him. But why let scripture stand in the way of doctrine?

How can Calvinism be Good News ... makes no sense at all!

Oh right... the standard line is coming to me now "God didn't have to save anyone.. we should be thankful He decided to have mercy on some"

Some people don't want to change in fear of admitting they were wrong first to themselves, their friends, family their church, they are content staying where they. they prefer unsound doctrine of men instead of listening to the Words of Christ.

In vain do they worship me, Teaching as their doctrines the precepts of men. (Matthew 15:9)

but in truth; He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my sayings, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day. (John 12:48)

I think they cannot see, they are blinded by the false teaching they made a decision to adopt, this must have an affect on the spirit/heart and mind whereby they are quite "stuck" for lack of a better term.

Because of this "lens" they have in place.... when they read scripture .....they read it differently the what normal Christians read.

It is somewhat ironic considering they think the unregenerate person is born double blind, maybe even born triple blind!!

I was disproving your cherry-picked misapplied passages!

Ezekiel 36: 24 tells us to whom it was written!
"For I will take you from among the heathen,
and gather you out of all countries,
and will bring you into your own land.

It was obviously written to Jews who were at that time scattered all over the world because of their disobedience to God.
God punished them severely.
You see nothing of importance in that being so?
CONTEXT!

God's punishment works in producing a change of heart!
God's Spirit was training them for a return to their land.
This time in obedience to the statutes of God!

LOOK!

I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean;
I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.
Ezekiel 36:25

What will that end up producing!?
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you;
I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
Ezekiel 36:26

Note! God did not say put"My Spirit in you."
But, a new spirit in you!!!!

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you;

A change of heart and mental attitude towards the Law!

Just look at the Jehovah Witnesses. Look at Mormons. Look at Pentecostals. Etc...

Each found false teachings that fit the desires of their religious flesh like a glove.
The same glove they will punch back with.

They refuse to deny self and take up their cross as sound doctrine gets in their face about.

yes it is possible, they cannot see, I considered this also.

Personally my lens for understanding scripture has always been the words of Jesus Christ. all scripture, doctrine has to fit with His words , His teachings, the examples He left us to follow, His benevolence, His Kindness, His Grace, His full authority, His Mercy and Love for us to the point that he gave His Own Life, the Most precious of all, for us, to redeem us. any Doctrine Has to fit with all of this or it is wrong. No One can do the things he did No one can speak the words he did, His words are eternal Life.

There is only one GOD, one Truth , one Gospel, that is the words of Jesus the son of God, One with God. all we have to do is follow his Light and reject the darkness.

you area man like all the rest on this earth, in the fallen condition (sin) , yet you respond to God's call do you not?
Sorry but man by nature is dead to God, any reponses will be with enmity against Him Rom 8:7-8

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Magenta, Sister,

you seem to take verses about man's sinful condition and turns them into a denial of the
many places where Jesus calls people to respond, repent, believe, obey, and come to Him.
I have done no such thing. But you seem to want to teach against Jesus' words and tell us
a bad tree can bring forth good fruit. Shameful. Calling people to respond, LOL, you are like
those who say everyone hears when Jesus lets us know that everyone does not, and moreover,
He tells us why they do not hear, but to your ilk? Those people are free to choose even though
Scripture makes plain that the opposite is actually true.
