A change of heart and mental attitude towards the Law!
Those GIVEN to Jesus come to Him. His SHEEP hear.Jesus calls people to respond, repent, believe, obey, and come to Him.
I could be wrong but is it you who first quoted this verse, if its for Israel only why did you...The verses were written to the nation Israel. The application is for all. Read verse 27. Who's Spirit is that?
so? your point? Those GIVEN to Jesus come to Him. His SHEEP hear.
Magenta tour accusations are false me against Jesus? all I said was accompanied by scripture, obviously you have not read the one provided think there is no point for us to continue this discussion. you clearly will not listen . so be it.I have done no such thing. But you seem to want to teach against Jesus' words and tell us
a bad tree can bring forth good fruit. Shameful. Calling people to respond, LOL, you are like
those who say everyone hears when Jesus lets us know that everyone does not, and moreover,
He tells us why they do not hear, but to your ilk? Those people are free to choose even though
Scripture makes plain that the opposite is actually true.
I didn't say it was for Israel only. I said it was written to Israel and the application is for all.I could be wrong but is it you who first quoted this verse, if its for Israel only why did you...
Just about every cult in the world believes those historical facts, and they cant tell you who Jesus ChristThe Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) is how we are saved.
so? your point?
The sheep hear because they know his voice and respond in kind. Those GIVEN to Jesus come to Him. His SHEEP hear.
"Hatred of God" strikes me as the proverbial "precious" in this case. That is, institutionalized hatred so-called "sanctioned" by God. And, come to think of it, unlike the OT, Jesus doesn't speak any permission to hate anyone, whatsoever, in the NT.Hatred of God is found in the willful, stubborn, distorting of His Word.
yes it is possible, they cannot see, I considered this also.
Personally my lens for understanding scripture has always been the words of Jesus Christ. all scripture, doctrine has to fit with His words , His teachings, the examples He left us to follow, His benevolence, His Kindness, His Grace, His full authority, His Mercy and Love for us to the point that he gave His Own Life, the Most precious of all, for us, to redeem us. any Doctrine Has to fit with all of this or it is wrong. No One can do the things he did No one can speak the words he did, His words are eternal Life.
There is only one GOD, one Truth , one Gospel, that is the words of Jesus the son of God, One with God. all we have to do is follow his Light and reject the darkness.
Magenta here is the scripture that you say does not exist about choice, My ""Ilk"" , to use the term you used against me knows this;Magenta tour accusations are false me against Jesus? all I said was accompanied by scripture, obviously you have not read the one provided think there is no point for us to continue this discussion. you clearly will not listen . so be it.
Magenta here is the scripture that you say does not exist about choice, My ""Ilk"" , to use the term you used against me knows this;
I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before thee life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed. (Deuteronomy 30:19, ASV) = choice, free will
See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil. (Deuteronomy 30:15, ASV) = choice, free will
If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine... (John 7:17, ASV) = choice, free will
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28, ASV) = choice, free will
And if it seem evil unto you to serve Jehovah, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah. (Joshua 24:15, ASV) = choice and free will
For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord Jehovah: wherefore turn yourselves, and live.(Ezekiel 18:32, ASV) = choice and free will
choice is all over the place in the Holy Bible, do not let false doctrine trick you. your public shaming will not work on me, does not intimidate me. I care only for the truth as spoken by God and do not care for the doctrine of men.
If any man willeth to do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from myself. (John 7:17, ASV)Sorry but man by nature is dead to God, any reponses will be with enmity against Him Rom 8:7-8
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
yes I do feel like this horse is dead, lol, and I did provide scripture and I have done what was needed on this thread, I have learned from Jesus whom I follow that if they do not receive his words that we should let them be. This is probably one of the last post on this thread, I have done what I could and I believe it is time for me to move on. Some will be pleased....I doubt any of them will be moved towards the truth (this has been ongoing for years) but I do feel it is imperative to defend God's truth.
Just know you may feel like this...
I would say the sheep hear because their ears are circumcised. Same as?The sheep hear because they know his voice and respond in kind.
Yes, he made the salvation plan. And offered Grace to ALL.........Not just to you And the calvies.Did God do something that allowed you to believe?
“Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.” The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. HJohn 8 v 47; Matthew 13 v 1
1 2 Corinthians ch 4 v 4; Romans 8 v 9b
I have never seen even so much as one Scripture articulating the free will of the natural man.I did provide scripture
