Yep! Im not backing down on that, you can forget it. And the Gospel is hid to them that are Lost
Well, if you want to fling God's plan of salvation back in His face, that's up to you. God Himself will not force you. Certainly, no one can force you.
Yep! Im not backing down on that, you can forget it. And the Gospel is hid to them that are Lost
Then thats hid to them that are lost. And the Gospel isnt Jesus made salvation possible lolNo, Jesus is the gospel
The Gospel is hid to them that are lost !God is holding them accountable for the light that they had received, and rejected.
He's not saying repentance isn't part of salvation. He's saying repentance doesn't lead to salvation, but that salvation leads to repentance.
The Gospel is hidden to them that are Lost !Well, if you want to fling God's plan of salvation back in His face, that's up to you. God Himself will not force you. Certainly, no one can force you.

The Gospel is hidden to them that are Lost !
That's interesting. Also easy to test. You just defined the opposite of scripture.
I guess Peter had it wrong when he said repent after the Holy Spirit filled all those waiting in Jerusalem during the day of Pentecost.
Don't come back with that only applies to Jews because they rejected Jesus.
The Gospel is hidden to them that are lost, whether I believe its Calvinism or not.Well, you already described the problem but you are wrong in thinking it applies to those in Christ when it applies to
Calvinists who have salvation absolutely backwards.
Whether Im lost or not, the Gospel is hidden to them that are Lost. In other words, the only one who can believe the Gospel are them who are in a saved condition, being saved 1 Cor 1:18Then are you are lost since you deny that Jesus is the way to God?
Romans 2:"The law" was given to Jews not the Gentiles.
Romans 2:
12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another![]()
Even though I am not a Calvinist I do believe in divine determinism. I don't agree with TULIP except the P. Maybe I'll start a thread explaining why I think the TULI is wrong.copilot is a conversational, AI-powered assistant that helps boost productivity and streamline workflows by offering contextual assistance, automating routine tasks, and analyzing data.
AI by any other name![]()
That's interesting. Also easy to test.
Read Ezekiel 36:26-27. What produces the conditions for an individual to submit to God?
We'll try another way.Huh. I didn't know you thought of yourself as one of God's chosen people aka Jews. Nonetheless, even they have to accept Christ and they don't know a thing about Calvinsim.
Peter said to repent. It's not an option. I don't think it's worth the effort to explain it to you separately from mr bright, but is II Cor. also out of your perview?
You and your kin almost have me laughing at this point, but this is too serious and I'm not going to react from my flesh.
Even though I am not a Calvinist I do believe in divine determinism. I don't agree with TULIP except the P. Maybe I'll start a thread explaining why I think the TULI is wrong. But I have a business meeting in a half hour. Maybe Sunday, if I have the time.
I was just teaching on the book of Job and what you said here reminded me of Job's friends:They cannot see such Biblical truths. They also claim everyone hears when Jesus let us know that is not true.
Even worse, they have repeatedly told us God is unfair to do the
very things He is shown to do from beginning to end of the Bible.
Denying and contradicting Biblical truths is a mainstay of many of these free willers.
A quick apology up front: I know everyone here prefers brevity, so I’ll keep this as tight as possible. Create and control are not the same thing. To create is to bring something into existence with its own nature, limits, and capacities; to control is to manipulate something already made from the outside. God’s sovereignty rests in the first reality, not the second. Because He creates all things—including their purposes, boundaries, and futures—His rule is not the rule of a manager inside the system but of the One whose being is above it. Creation establishes dependence; control merely directs behavior. That’s why God’s sovereignty points to His transcendence: He governs the world not as a creature within it, but as the Creator who gives it its very being.
I can give you an example of transcendence if you like.
We'll try another way.
We are saved by grace?
Is grace the exercise of God's power on/in/ through an individual?
To call God unfair for the very things the Holy Scriptures record Him as doing is exactly that, and the apostle Paul did expect this response:
