That's much clearer. Your earlier post gave me the impression that the early church believed that they were all-powerful, like God. Thanks for clarifying.
All I said was we were made in Gods image and it was twisted to mean we are made all powerful - which is rediculous

That's clear now, but your post saying that "it" was the common view of the early church was in reply to Magenta's post where she had said:

"That's a logical fallacy. God is all powerful. Are you? No need to answer. I know the answer already."

Only if you view it from Calvin’s point of view. Is God a failure who created man good and in his image, and that same man disobeyed him in return? Is God a failure who repented that he had made man on the earth and destroyed all but eight?
I view it from Jesus perspective Lk 19:10

10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

And you say He failed that objective.

Yes, Jesus came as a brother, and His mission was to reveal the Father, and the Father's will that all come to Christ and Christ's consent in drawing all to Himself. But if your judgment for not honoring your father according to the OC is grievous, how much more if you dishonor The Father according to the NC?
You not making sense. Did Jesus save 100% of the Lost He came to seek and to save, not one of them will be lost ! Yes or No

The failure, like I said, was on the part of those who rejected Him, because they loved darkness more than light.
You saying Jesus failed to save them from their sinful ways, of loving darkness more than light. Thats just being a natural man, being a sinner. Cant Christ save a sinner from sin ? He is the Savior from sin ! Listen to this Matt 1:21

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

The Angel should had said: Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins if they let Him !!

A doctrine invented centuries after Christ and the Apostles is the Gospel? Preposterous.

There is not a single book of the Bible you can read through that doesn't utterly refute the philosophy that is calvinism. I would urge everyone to avoid any "isms"

As always, as a calvinist you are operating on the false premise that there is only one will and that is God's will. There is man's will also which often conflicts that of God's.

Jesus wanted to gather Jerusalem's children but guess what? They refused. Not a failure on Jesus' part.

Matthew 23:37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing."

Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.

Perhaps you think everyone was like you were before God finally got you to repent? Some of us were raised by Christian parents and have always loved the Lord.

The way I read John 18:37 is this :
Christ bears witness to the truth. All that love truth, hear my voice he is saying. The chief priests were having him killed because they did not love the truth

Yes, and Paul said the same in 2Thes. 2:10.

That's not my definition. Free will doesn't mean one can make choices, but that one can make any and every choice.

Such silly attempts to redefine free will is why the word “moral” is added to indicate that the kerygmatic choice is between loving GW or ignoring Him.

All doesn't always mean every single person. It can mean all of a specified group. In the case of Romans 11:32 it means just as I stated originally.
All is only convenient to prove Calvinism in certain passages, but in other usages, let’s say it means something else.

Not all the lost are saved. If you want to consider that as Jesus failing, that's up to your "better" judgment.
