Jesus said, I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out,
and find pasture.
Any man is not just Jewish people. And the door, or gate, is to the sheepfold.
Gentiles were always meant to be included in God's plan of salvation. We are the sheep of His pasture.
Rom 15:10

And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

Sure. Choice is a matter of volition. Because we have wills and intelligence, we employ reason to determine ends to bring about our intentions. We often choose between many possible choices based what we perceive to be in our best interest. The will determines our action to accomplish our choice.

A free will can make any choice, even those that aren't even conceived. Because of this, the nature of an entity determines its limitations and choices. A dog is limited by its nature. It can choose to eat the food set out or not. It can't go to the store and purchase its favorite food.

Humans obviously have more choices than dogs, but their choices are still limited by their nature. These limitations limit the actions humans can perform. Their will is free in all the choices they can make, but their will is not free to make every choice.
Oh my! Oh my!

This is what you are defending, that humans don't have absolute and ultimate free will?

Of course humans don't possess such an ability. This is an ability only God has.

As a human I have the free will to choose or not choose Jesus but I do not have the free will to ignore the choice.

Are you not aware that this is at the core of election???

Absolute and ultimate free will is not even on the table. Is this really your point?

If you are nit-picking over the terms free will and free choice you are on the wrong thread.

This is about election.

Good Im glad you admitted to the world, that Jesus death doesnt save, it makes saving possible ! Then who and what makes that possibility a realty ? That will be your saviour
This isn't the first time. I'm telling you right now. I'm pretty sure I know where your going.

It's not faith. Faith alone doesn't save. Christ is the salvation. This salvation is received through faith.

If I have faith in Christ and Christ didn't die for my sins. My faith wouldn't save.

Christ made salvation possible and it is something can receive through faith. A person is saved by Christ when the person has faith in Christ. If there is no Christ... then having faith wouldn't save.

You're doing a play on words.

It is absolutely criteria to be sheep. This is specifically at the time of Jesus' return to earth as King. Those who came to the aid of his people Israel during the time of their trouble (Jacob's trouble), will be ushered into the earthly kingdom.
Have you considered that Jesus referred to his disciples as "brothers?" Isn't the question, "How did you treat those who follow me?"

Wow is a good word to use, but not for the reason you suggest. Of course the basis for God exercising grace is the cross. So no, I didn't forget Christ. I simply forgot that people will try to discredit the messenger when they can't discredit the message.

Personally, I'm not a Calvinist nor a defender of Calvin. I am a Christian and do make a defense of what I believe scripture teaches.

Interesting that you say faith alone isn't sufficient for salvation. What else is necessary?

Fair enough, maybe you spoke short handedly. I've heard people say faith alone saves and the same logic can apply.

Yes, faith alone isn't sufficient. Maybe you do have to think about it a bit. But here's a good example... an analogy:

Imagine Bob is in a dark ally and needs life saving Surgery within 10 minutes

Bob says I have faith that the surgeon standing infront of me will save me

The surgeon refuses to save

Bob's faith in the surgeon didn't save

---

Replace the surgeon with Christ and Bob with the believer. Faith alone doesn't save. We hear that as short handed so much but in reality it is a system. Christ died for our sins , of course this is a gracious attitude, and we receive this salvation through faith.

That's as far as I understand grace. I know Calvinist define it as a whole different thing.

So you believe 100% of His People shall be saved from their sins ?
Yes. During a critical time for Israel, the priests will call for the people to leave home and gather in Israel to pray for the survival of the nation. Those who make the trip will survive. Those who don't make the trip will be incinerated.

Christ made salvation possible and it is something can receive through faith. A person is saved by Christ when the person has faith in Christ. If there is no Christ... then having faith wouldn't save.

You are making your faith saviour, not Christ, i dont care how you try to spin it. You have admitted that Christ merely made salvation possible. That sealed it.

You should know by now I am a dispensationalist. I rightly divide the word of truth according to people groups to whom God is speaking. All scripture is for us, but not all scripture is to us. That's a great rule of thumb.
Sure, and it's a good policy. But it is for us...meaning it has application to us. Thus, we find its meaning from the original audience, but we still apply that meaning to ourselves. Further, God has given revelation progressively. We understand earlier revelation in light of later revelation.

AI gathers what PEOPLE have said.
experiencing active union with God. (my note here: this is what many here seem to do with their cookie
cutter Christianity and cardboard God, denying what Scripture says in favor of their opinion, calling people
who believe what Scripture actually explicitly articulates "degenerate" and calling straight-up Scripture
quotes "false teachings." Some want us to listen to hours and hours of false teachers so we can have their
view while they say the most vile and wicked things blaspheming God. Others make plain they do not know
God at all in a personal way.) Hank still holds to and promotes having proper doctrine even if his are wrong.

I am not saying you said anything confrontational, yet I will ask you something in peace if you will.

I said I believe strongly G-D has Directed me to stay away from AI.

you said "AI gathers what people have said"

So when I read your answer, it suggests that you don't believe me when I say that G-D has directed me.

in a sense your defending using AI, and must believe I am falsely claiming, or totally misunderstood something about G-D'S teaching me.

I am certainly not your shepherd, yet why do you so quickly dismiss what a Christian has said? curious

so easily is it to get in confrontations and this is not my intention, lets put it this way, if G-D has told me to avoid AI. then that is either only for me, or all HIS children.

I am not claiming it is for anyone else. yet if it is for all HIS children one of is on the wrong side of things.

and as per our early discussion it seems many Christians fall on the wrong side of things, yet to be on the True path is worth more than all The Fine Gold of Ophir (Isaiah 13:12)

whatever Ophir is haha

in peace

Biblical election is about the choices God makes. If you believe otherwise, perhaps it is you who is on the wrong thread..

No, that didn't seal it

And you didn't qoute my entire post. There was a good bit of reasoning that you decided to leave out.

Again, having faith and no Christ wouldn't save. We need Christ to die for our sins, as he said "It is finished." This finished work is received upon faith in Christ.

So just because faith is the last part.... doesnt make faith the Saviour. That's just wrong.

That would mean Christ isn't needed, according to you.

God bless you. I think it's clear that your just wrong and you are entrenched in this belief.

You sealed it, by saying Christ merely made salvation possible !
I'd appreciate it if you quoted my entire posts. It's a bit disingenuous if you don't qoute my entire post.

Yes Christ made it possible and there's nothing wrong with that. And if you wanted to hear me say that Christ does save. Here's the third or fourth time, Christ saves. Christ made it possible and does save.

You sealed it with Christ made salvation merely possible.

I made no such assumption, and I repeated my own words for you.

Why do you so quickly wrongfully assume?
my bad, apologizes,

when you said "AI gathers what people have said"
I wrongfully assumed you were implying what's wrong with AI

again sorry for going on a rant, and by the way a stunning picture I saw with the women's face disappearing into the mountains. wow, your signature art work I assume. I know next to nothing of how that is achieved, so I don't like to comment just in case its you know who (AI),, (maybe too soon) haha

I am sure your talents are all thru that picture

Again you are wrong. I do not believe that. I don't believe freedom is without restraint. I believe free will has no restraints. We are all bound by our nature. Either the nature of the flesh or the divine nature. Free will is a myth. The closest any created being came to free will was Adam. Even he had restrictions upon him according to his nature.

It's those restrictions that make it free, free to be exactly what it is, whether that be God, man or a worm.

You are the one who is wrong and without understanding when it comes to freedom.

John 8:36
Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

grace and peace.
