I have a dumb question.

When you're going at speeds that fast, does it actually FEEL like you're going incredibly fast?

Or is it kind of like being in a plane, where the conditions are such that you don't really feel all that much motion?
On the Autobahn, it feels very fast. On the maglev train, it did not. The oddest thing was looking at the cars on the freeway. They looked like they were going backwards.

I want to help with the controversy..

Anything other than walking or riding a horse or donkey is just NOT Biblical...
😃

I totally forget horse and camel riding.

Thank heavens!

Look @RodB651!!

We finally have a forum participant who's using BIBLICAL means of transportation!

(Camels ARE Biblical, right?!)

They have to be!! Rebekah offered to water a whole herd of them -- and got herself a husband out of the deal! 😎

A CCC!
That would be fun.
Mmm how to fund it...win lotto?

Well we can dream...start a thread Captain Seoulsearch. What will our ship be called and where would it dock? What will you eat in the buffet? Everything? What entertainments shall we have? What excursions shall we sign up for? Will we have a lifeboat drill? Who would you share a cabin with?

So many questions...too many answers

I have to amend something I said in another post in another thread.

I'm going to start working on a "CCC" (Christian Chat Cruise) thread like Lanolin suggested, but it took a while for me to go back and find her post.

In another thread, I had posted that I thought the new system listed the threads we've written in order of the date they were posted, but I was wrong. Apparently, it's like the old system in which they are listed by the date of the last post that was added to them. I'm mentioning this because I try to give accurate information, and wanted to make the proper correction.

No worries, it just took a little longer than expected.

I just didn't want you to think I'd forgotten, @Lanolin, because it was a great suggestion.

I'm working on the thread now -- I think I'll put it in Singles because that section of the forum hasn't gotten much love lately. It will need approval so I would guess it'll be up later today or tomorrow.

But of course, even though it will be in Singles, our regular married friends are welcome to answer, as I always hope they will.

Hope to see you on board! :)

I wish I could be as thoroughly thoughtful as you are Seoulsearch.

You do a fine job, @Lanolin!

There's A LOT that I miss, trust me.

But it IS important to me to try to give correct information, and I want to be corrected (or correct myself) if I give the wrong facts.

The cruising thread is now posted and awaiting the stamp of approval -- I hope people have fun with it! :D

And thank you very much for the suggestion, @Lanolin.
