This thread is delightful and i love John Bunyan Lanolin. You're both intelligent, principled people and we are very similar in thinking that much suffering of ordinary people has been manufactured, to benefit the powers that shouldn't be. i was about 15 when i first started to realise a lot of supposed history was pretty stinky.
I'll bookmark this thread and will pop in sometimes, God's blessings and all that's good for now.

BLess you for that, she's a sweetheart and great you like that wallpaper too. It's been on the wall for 13 years, lasted well and Dreamer's kept her claws off it, that's the coolest room at night during the summer. My AMD 4 is left of that small desk, it's a cosy, functional room.Oh my goodness.

Further to a couple of comments i posted earlier, i live quite close to RAF Cranfield. Since late afternoon, i've heard several really heavy duty planes flying over and a couple of sonic booms. Suggests to me there's something bigger and nastier than the new normal going down.

Sorry Lanolin, the site has kept going down for me this eve, hope i might be here for a while now. I don't come from Canada, am in the UK and the new normal is the sweeping changes to finance, information quality of life etc, which is going down now. I'm certain these are the real end times and it's very likely life will soon be nasty, brutish and short for all.
There's nothing we can do about it but as a relatively new Christian, i think it's great that all is in the Lord's hands, he will sort it out when the time is right. It truly saddens me to see how much my children have been affected by current events, i do still pray the Lord will open their minds and hearts, there's still time. Must go play with Dreamer for a while, she's still really lovely.

It's the first time I've heard of wildfires happening in Canada.
Usually hear about California or Australia's wildfires.
When Australia had there's the sky turned dark at 2pm over in Auckland. I remember it was the day we were having a zoo outing and we happened to be in the Australia section at the time!
