Now that shyamuraix is gone, does anyone have any idea why he was so adamant about using the name Yehovah? Is there a group or sect that teaches this? I know Jehovah's Witnesses insist on Jehovah; but I've never heard of anyone insisting on Yehovah.

A dumbass is a dumbass bro, and Aaron is definitely a dumbass. It's a biblical term!

(2 Peter 2:16) But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

Look it up! :P
But that is completely different. "Dumbass" (one word) is a slang word meaning a foolish or ignorant person. Peter dd not mean, " But was rebuked for his iniquity: the foolish person speaking with man's voice." Rather, he reminds his reads how God caused an animal (a donkey or ass) to speak. He certainly was not saying that the ass was foolish or ignorant, just that an ass does not speak with the voice of a man - it is dumb, unable to speak. Yet God caused Balaam's ass to speak. Claiming biblical authority for calling somebody a dumbass is wrong.

btw, how does NT saying 'no man can see God' contradict 'let us not see God, or else we die'?

you need to study Old Testament better bro.. because whenever The LORD Jesus refers to 'scriptures' in the New Testament, He is speaking of The Old Testament!

(Luke 24:25) Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

(Luke 24:26) Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

(Luke 24:27) And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself

Jesus spoke of the OT to apply it to himself and amend its moral meaning,
as saying "no one can see God" amends "let us not see God".
I see you have a superiority complex, when you ought to amend your understanding per the NT.

oh yeah.. same here..

i never felt any guilt or bad for anything i did.. until i read The Bible..

The Words of God pierced through my soul, and convicted me, even before i became a believer..

Then i realized, how great were my sins, and i have sinned against God.. then fear took over me..

Don't get me wrong, im still evil and wicked and vile, but at least i now have a compass and feel guilt and understand my wrong doings..

No amount of wisdom from any other book or subject has had this effect on me.. This is how I know The LORD God, He is God..

This is a GREAT GOD.. The ONLY GOD worthy of worship.. Truly, there is None like Him!

Imagine how great is His mercy, that anyone who seeks Him can know Him.. but you must seek Him with all your heart, and all your soul, and all your mind..

Eph. 5:3-5, Col. 3:5-8.

“Elohim” is a category noun, not a proper name.
OR
The category Being One/Triune Creator.

Where are abbreviations?
You didn't read my post carefully.
The problem is that you didn’t read my post carefully… the first one to which you replied.

I quoted the part of the post to which I replied.
Quote the part of my post that had abbreviations.
Otherwise, let us move on.

Possible he was on cc before, came back under new name?
Somehow I have this feeling from his posts yesterday, though myself is relatively new.
He just need to calm down a bit, not so aggressive.

Well, that's the end of that. Although his type often comes back under a different account. We'll see.

He was certainly fired up about certain words. Maybe he was a Jehovah's Witness? Who knows...

I think he is not a jw.
He seems in correct doctrine. Just too aggressive with his voice. If he calms down, his analysis is not bad. Some are very good teaching.
It is the attitude that assume everyone else is fake, that's the problem.

You did not quote the part of my post that contradicts your assertion.

I wondered that with the title and his first post. However, I realized that a Jehovah's False Witness elder would be off on all kinds of basic doctrine.
I don't know what all he and I agree on, but it would be near zero if he were a JW.

Another thing is that he uses the KJV.
The JWs use their sorry excuse for a Bible. Trying to think of the name.....
New World "Translation." Had to cheat and look it up.
