How would you offer hope to a dying man?

If he is in the same preterist cult as you, tell him to leave it, they are wrong to deny Jesus second coming and they are wrong to say the session of Christ ended in 70 AD, why should you perish with them in the eternal hellfire? Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, lived and ministered exactly as the canonical gospels record, crucified for the atonement of sins, rose again three days later, ascended into Heaven, he sits at the right hand of the Father, he is alive even now, and he will come again to raise everyone that ever lived including you, and including him, including the good and the wicked alike, and all will see the Father's face and bow their knees and confess that he is the God. Everyone who believes truly in God; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and this the standard Gospel, they shall be saved, but everyone who disbelieves shall be judged fairly and cast away to the eternal hellfire. Then shall the new earth and new heavens be made and all the righteous will inherit life everlasting in paradise and the Father and the Son shall be in the midst of the Kingdom of God reigning forever and ever, amen. Praise Jesus.
Reword it to fit for him. Both you and him still have time discard the heresy, read the Bible cover to cover, and the holy ecumenical creeds especially the Athanasian Creed. Believe the truth, the veracity of the Bible, believe in Jesus. First you must believe the Gospel before you think you are superior to your own father and can save him. You can't save him truth be told, as Cameron correctly pointed out yesterday, only by the grace of God can he (or anyone really) be saved. It is better for you to convert to Christianity first and have faith if you're concerned for your father, otherwise let the dead bury the dead and the God of the living pour out his Spirit upon the faithful, praise Jesus.

Indeed nobody can save anyone else, but we're still charged to tell them the truth so that they have a chance to come to the faith and be saved, or so that they have no excuse.
What you don't know what your own preterist heresy believes or how its roots and forerunners, like most all major heresies, actually comes from the Pharisees and Sadducees? Why did you want to pull me away from focusing on the topic of Iran to claim that Ezekiel 38 and 39 already occured, Jesus second coming, because a literal Pharisee named Josephus said so in 70 AD?

I told you that Jesus' second coming was a separate event proceeded by a battle similar to that of Ezekiel 38.
There is proof enough in the scriptures of that.
I only mentioned Josephus because someone asked me for a secular historian reference.

So how do you not then understand the temple in the chapters of Ezekiel and Revelation for which you wanted me to change the subject to? Or would you now understanding that it is all about the second coming of Christ and the end of the world, like to drop the heretical view and come on over to the correct side? I would be more than glad ego or none at all for you to surrender and join our side. Why should you root for Satan's servants the wicked pagans of the IRGC that started this war when they committed the bloodiest massacre in this century so far and try to subvert God's chosen and blessed America and Israel? Come to our side the winning side quickly now, praise Jesus.

In the new Jerusalem the temple will be something like the one that Jesus described in John 2:19:
"Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
Ezekiel was asked to measure a glorious temple in his vision, and a smaller temple was later build.
That does not necessarily mean that the exact same temple will be built that Ezekiel saw.
Whether or not the sanctuary and the alter were built to those measurements we can no longer verify.
I do not think Jesus ever took a break from being the king, so we are in His thousand year reign now.
Regarding the modern conflict I don't think it makes any difference which side of the propaganda we believe, because the outcome is already determined.
If either of us are wrong we will soon be corrected, so it is not a worry either way.
The second temple does not fit the parameters of Ezekiel's vision by many factors not just the measurements being way way off.
Jesus never took a break indeed from being king and is still the king even now since he sits at the right hand of the Father (the Session of Christ), but the millennial reign doesn't happen until the second coming. Thus why your heresy is a heresy since it states that the Session of Christ is ended and the Second Coming already happened, which is a serious error against two key points of the Gospel. To understand the prophecy you have to discard the heresy first, and to attain salvation you must discard the preterist heresy also. Discarding the heresy is practical not just for salvation, but because it is a block to your faith and stops you from having faith in the Bible and God, as well as has trapped you into being on the wrong side.
As for the actual topic you're incredibly wrong about almost every single thing you've said about it from Iran, to Israel, to America. Is it not because you hold a heresy and the cognitive patterns that developped from it that you talk trash against the good guys to support the clear and obvious evil regime in Iran that committed the biggest massace in this century?
Why does that matter?
What if Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father and having His "millennial" reign at the same time?
What if His second coming happens at the end of it?
