Yes.

But there are plenty of Scripture passages that teach quite clearly that Jesus Christ is God and that He became flesh. An example s John 1:

(Joh 1:1-3 NKJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

(Joh 1:14 NKJV) And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The people you are talking about would have to ignore a passage like that.

That is God saying He would be a Father to His people. Other verses tell us that we are His children by adoption. For instance:

(Rom 8:14-15 NKJV) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

As for Jesus Christ being merely mighty while the Father is almighty, Colosians says of Jesus:

(Col 2:9 NKJV) For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

I didn't reply to 3 because I don't really know much about Oneness doctrine.

I agree with Point 4.

I believe that Jesus Christ is fully God, and since His incarnation, also fully Man, as John 1 states.

The third view of Jesus, which is held by the Christian group known as the Oneness Doctrine, is also found in the Holy Scriptures.
When the Lord Jesus gave instructions to His disciples, He commanded them to baptize people in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
MATTHEW 28:19

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

When the disciples carried out this command, they baptized people according to it. The question then is: What is the name of the Father? What is the name of the Son? And what is the name of the Holy Spirit?

The name that was revealed is one name: Jesus Christ.
ACTS 2:38

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

If you did not know this before, but now you have learned it, what would you say about them? Are they true Christians or not? Are they born again or not?

From what I understand, you are a Trinitarian. Am I correct?

What the Oneness believers say is this: Trinitarians baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but they are not following the command properly; rather, they are only imitating the command.

What would you say about this?

In the Trinitarian doctrine, there is only one God, and He exists in three persons. The Father is distinct from the Son, and the Son is distinct from the Holy Spirit. Am I correct?

My question is for being a trinitarian, how would you explain that 3 equals 1? Even in mathematics, you cannot give that as an answer because you would fail the exam.

If that is your position, then how do you explain Isaiah 9:6, where God the Father Himself refers to Jesus as "Mighty God" rather than "Almighty God"?

Gen_49:24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

Deu_7:21 Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.

Psa_50:1 A Psalm of Asaph. The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

Psa_132:2 How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;

Psa_132:5 Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

Isa_9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isa_10:21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.

Jer_32:18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,

Hab_1:12 Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.

Then you are proclaiming that an unknown number of people who were accepted as believers prior to the Council of Chalcedon in 451 were not true believers, including members of multiple church councils. Yes, Jesus was declared God at the first Council of Nicaea, but that appears to have been at the instigation of the pagan emperor who bought agreement. Numerous other councils both before and after denied Jesus's divinity. Even worse, the rulings of the Council of Chalcedon were for the churches within the Roman Empire, and not binding on any churches outside the empire, so again, untold numbers of people who belonged to churches were not believers according to your decision.

I would observe that if it was so obvious in scripture that it would not have taken a few hundred years and the financial support and military powers of a pagan for the early church to realize what the scriptures said. Now once the official stance of the church is settled it becomes easy to justify the stance, and over time for that stance to become "obvious", but is it really?
I don't claim to know personally any of the people who lived prior to the Council of Chalcedon in 451, but from the Scriptures, I would say that if they did not believe that Jesus Christ was fully God come to earth in human flesh, they cannot have been true believers. The same apostle John who opened his gospel by saying that Jesus Christ is indeed God in the flesh (John 1:1-3 & 14) also wrote:

(1Jn 4:1-3 NKJV) Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

But God the Father is sometimes referred to as "mighty God":

(Jer 32:17-18 NKJV) 'Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. You show lovingkindness to thousands, and repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them—the Great, the Mighty God, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

In Revelation, Jesus Christ is called "almighty":

(Rev 1:5-8 NKJV) and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

John tells us that Jesus Christ created all things:

(Joh 1:1-3 NKJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Oneness doctrine, which I have looked up because of your post, seems to believe that Jesus Christ is fully God, but not that the Holy Spirit and the Father are God, as the Bible teaches. I am not sure how they explain the description in the Bible of the baptism of Jesus, where we have the Son, Jesus Himself, the Father, speaking from heaven and saying, "This is My beloved Son," and the Holy Spirit resting on Jesus in the form of a dove. As I don't know any Oneness believers personally, I hesitate to say that none of them are true Christians, but they certainly seem to have some mistaken ideas about God.

One question I won't the Lord Jesus, "Where is thy Father"?

John 8

19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
25 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
...
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

But we are not talking about mathematics. Our God is too great to be reduced to a mathematical equation. All three are referred to in the Bible as God.

The Father:

(1Co 15:23-24 NKJV) But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.

The Son:

(Joh 1:1-3 & 14 NKJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The Holy Spirit:

(Act 5:3-4 NKJV) But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God."

You may know that one of the national emblems of Ireland is the shamrock. This is because hundreds of years ago, a man named Patrick used a shamrock leaf in an attempt to explain the Trinity to Irish people. It is certainly not a perfect illustraton but it does show three (the parts of the leaf) being one (the whole leaf):

I shy away from 'man's doctrine' as they seem to 'lock' a person into an fixed understanding. I just go with the good book. :) It's hard to get closer if I'm stuck on some document that tells me what to believe. Hope that makes sense. I believe Jesus is the root and the offspring just like the good book says. That said, Jesus, before He was crucified and rose again, was 100% man and the Father did the works because Jesus is the perfect, sinless man that had the perfect FAITH. That FAITH pleased the Father. God didn't cheat and He let them crucify Him. If we had that much FAITH, we could move mountains. That's what He said and I believe Him.

So how is it? Is the Holy Bible really clear enough to be understood, or is it confusing?

Because it seems that it is written that God the Father is called both "Almighty God" and "Mighty God."
Likewise, the Lord Jesus is also referred to as both "Almighty God" and "Mighty God."
So does everyone just choose whichever belief they want?

My question is: Which one do you believe?

Another question to be asked is, was the Bible written with then current assumptions of what was meant in mind, based on then widely available knowledge or with 21st century assumptions based on far different knowledge in mind. If it was written so that people with then current knowledge could understand, people in the 21st century might well miss what is being said based on erroneous assumptions.

Based on the picture you showed, I'm not sure if it can really be compared to God.

Can God be thought of as having three heads (the head of the Father, the head of the Son, and the head of the Holy Spirit) with one body?
Or perhaps one head with three bodies (the body of the Father, the body of the Son, and the body of the Holy Spirit)?

Could you explain more clearly how the three are one?

In what sense are they one, and where are they one?

Is God the Father mighty? Of course He is. Psalm 150 encourages us to praise God for Hiis mighty acts:

(Psa 150:1-2 NKJV) Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!

Is He almighty? Yes. Nobody and nothing can stop Him from doing what He wants to do, and for Him nothing is impossible:

(Isa 46:9-11 NKJV) Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,' Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.

(Mat 19:26 NKJV) But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

The same is true of Jesus Christ.

The Bible is not confusing on this matter. If the Father and the Son were not mighty, how could they be almighty? It s not either/or; it is both.

You ask me which I believe. I believe that the Bible teaches us that God the Father and the Son are both mighty and almighty.

I think you are making too much of Patrick's illustration. I dd say that it is not a perfect illustration of the Trinity. But the shamrock leaf is one leaf yet has three parts.

I am not sure why you are talking about heads and bodies with regard to God. God is a spiritual being. Yes, Jesus Christ took human flesh at His incarnation, but God the Father has no physical body, nor does the Holy Spirit.

You ask me to describe how the three are one. I would say that it is beyond what a mere human being is able to do. All I can do is to point to Scripture. Jesus Christ said:

(Joh 10:30 NKJV) "I and My Father are one."

Peter, speaking to Ananias, equated lying to the Holy Spirit to lying to God:

(Act 5:3-4 NKJV) But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God."

From the very beginning, the Lord has already revealed your attitude. Whenever someone disagrees with your beliefs, you immediately respond with harsh and insulting words.
Telling you that you are wrong is neither harsh nor insulting.

So let's have a respectful conversation and see where the Lord leads it.
You don’t get to gloss over your baseless accusations and pretend you didn’t state them.

Recant them and we will see whether respectful conversation results.

That's right. The Lord did not tell the disciples, "Baptize in My name."
Rather, He said, "Baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
Yet, in carrying out this command, Simon Peter understood it as baptizing in the name of Jesus Christ.

I don't think we can say that what Peter said was untrue. Otherwise, the Lord would have corrected or rebuked him.
ACTS 2:38
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

I also believe that the Lord Jesus intentionally did not say, "Baptize in My name," because that would not have conveyed the same meaning as His command to "baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." The wording He chose expresses the fullness of God's revelation in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

I'm sorry, but I'm not convinced that the Father and the Son are both Almighty and mighty.
My reason is that the meaning of Almighty carries a greater sense of power than mighty.
How can they be Almighty at one time and merely mighty at another?
Shouldn't they always be Almighty?

Definitions
  • Mighty: Having great strength, power, or authority.
    • Example: He is a mighty warrior.
    • Meaning: He is very powerful, but not all-powerful.

  • Almighty: Having complete, unlimited, and supreme power; omnipotent.
    • Example: The Lord God Almighty reigns.
    • Meaning: God possesses unlimited power.

Another question:
If the Lord Jesus, as the Son, is sometimes Almighty and sometimes mighty, then which one is He?
Which of the two does He truly represent?
He said that, as the Son of God, He could do nothing.
JOHN 5:19
19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

You mentioned John 10:30. What is your understanding of what the Lord Jesus said?
JOHN 10:30
30 I and my Father are one.
