Bible Debate:
Will there be marriage in heaven?
Some point to Matthew 22:30 — Jesus says in the resurrection, people "neither marry, nor are given in marriage." Others ask, if love is eternal, how could a bond like marriage just end?
What do you believe? Drop your answer below — and back it up with scripture if you can.
Mat 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
Only in the flesh will people marry and only by the flesh is gender.
The only thing that separates a man and a woman is the flesh but the soul and spirit are the same.
A saint will put off the body and have a spiritual body.
The spiritual body is the same for all the saints so there is no gender.
Which the saints will be like the angels for the angels have no gender.
They are only known by masculine names and he because angels are greater than people.
But they are not considered male or female.

which things the angels desire to look into.
Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Heb 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
The man Christ Jesus was made a little lower than the angels being flesh.
But when He received a glorified body He was greater than the angels.
When the saints receive their glorified body they will be greater than the angels.
Which the angels desire to look in to the salvation of the saints.
There is no gender in heaven so no marriage.
Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
As far as someone thinking they will be united with their spouse or see them they will not remember the earth or anything that happened on it.
For it is associated with sin and rebellion.
