I've proven, scripturally, what I have posted. I'm through with that.
Again....

“Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit." John 3:6

Why should the Holy Spirit beget for the unbeliever a human spirit?
If all unregenerate souls already have a human spirit?

... answer please.

It might do you well to take the beam out of your own eye.

“Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit." John 3:6

Make sense, please...

Why should the Holy Spirit beget for the new believer a human spirit?
If all unregenerate souls already have a human spirit?

You will not give a good answer for that.
Or, will you?

Others are going to see this.
That is why I might just keep asking you that question.

We've been over this but, again, " Who knows the spirit of man that goes upward, and the spirit of the beast goes downward toward the earth?" Ecc. 3:21 and " We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." 2 Cor. 5:8 Our spirits return to God.

I note what you posted.

All have the same "breath." Breath and spirit were interchangeable meanings for the same word.

So the breath of a man returns up to God, and the breath of the animal goes down.

In biblical texts, "Ruach" is used to convey both concepts, emphasizing their interconnectedness. For example:

  • Genesis 1:2: "The Spirit (Ruach) of God was hovering over the waters," illustrating the spiritual aspect.
  • Job 12:10: "In His hand is the life of every living thing and the breath (Ruach) of all mankind," highlighting the breath aspect.

Here is what you posted.

Ecclesiastes 3:18-20

I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.

Our salvation in Christ automatically places us in with inheritance.
A heavenly inheritance with Christ.
right ... treasures in heaven ...

Matthew 6:19-21

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

In contrast, the Jews before the Church age were promised the new earth.
We have been given a fantastic inheritance as the Bride of Christ in heaven.

The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, and if children, also heirs
heirs of God and coheirs with Christ—seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified
with Him. Romans 8:16-17

When we are manifested as the Bride. His glory becomes our glory! Inheritance!
I believe all who are believers ... whether Jew or gentile ... whether OT or NT believer ... will live on the new earth and, yes, "we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is" (1 John 3:2).

However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—

I love these little nuggets God places before our eyes to encourage us to consider things eternal as we walk as strangers and pilgrims in the earth ... even though we know our citizenship is in heaven.

When you are promised something, say $10,000, and it is written down in a will, when the time comes for you to get that $10,000 isn't that an inheritance? Well God, the Father, has written down in His will and testaments promises that those who are His shall inherit said promises, of which is the fulness of salvation (deliverance from sickness, pain, death, no more tears, etc., etc.). We, in this present age, have been given an earnest or down payment of salvation, but not in it's fulness. I believe the fulness of salvation is part of what we are to inherit.
did you look at the difference between ...

saved (verb, Greek = sōzō)
salvation (noun, Greek = sōtēria)
inherit (verb, Greek = klēronomeō)
inheritance (noun, Greek = klēronomia)

If you did not ... and you do not understand the difference between salvation and inheritance ... you are free to continue to believe salvation and inheritance are one and the same.

I have studied the difference and I am free to believe that salvation and inheritance are not the same.

What salvation and inheritance have in common is ...

salvation and inheritance are due solely to God extending His over-abounding grace to mankind.
only those who are saved partake in the inheritance.

" For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." John 1:17. I agree, grace has been since Adam ( God covered them in blood after they had sinned) but Gods' wrath was displayed in the dispensation of the law. " Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression." Rom.4:15. That's why I believe that the dispensation before the law was grace also. That doesn't mean that God's wrath WASN'T displayed before the law ( Noah), but for the most part it was grace before the law, IMHO.
Have you ever heard of the "age of grace" ... or the "church age" ... the period of time in which we now live ... after the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into heaven?

Again, what would you call the dispensation before the law?

That was months ago.
Then you began to modify what you said as you went along.

If you want to act like you never said it?
That reveals to me something about yourself.

You should be avoided....
We know about those who avoid truth, don't we.

I never said that inheritance equals salvation. I said that inheritance is PART of our salvation.

at the very least, I hope/pray you studied (or will study) saved (verb, Greek = sōzō), salvation (noun, Greek = sōtēria), inherit (verb, Greek = klēronomeō), inheritance (noun, Greek = klēronomia) ... to better understand God's Word concerning sōzō/sōtēria and klēronomeō/klēronomia.

as far as the "dispensation before the law" ... it appears you will continue to consider that period of time to be the same as the "age of grace" ... or the "church age" ... the period of time in which we now live after the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into heaven.

I asked, if you remember, what do you consider or call the period BEFORE the dispensation of the law.
