Just finished Demons by Dostoyevsky , read all of his major works now and enjoyed them all . Demons is especially good and not about anything supernatural . Going to start a thin book called Killing Stella by Marlen Haushofer . Hubby has read it and recommended it to me .

I recently finished reading
The Diabetes Code: Prevent and Reverse Type 2 Diabetes Naturally by Jason Fung

It was very informative and helpful and I actually read it cover to cover.
I typically just skim through books looking for highlighted information, or something that jumps out, but this one held me cover to cover.

Yes, I do recommend it.

It's well written and I'm familiar with the information up to where I'm at. I think he made the point clear of how the criminal systems of the chemical/pharma companies work with quasi-govermmental corporations to attack those outside their monopoly.
Cures for diseases do not make near the money that "medical treatments" do. They convinced the past generations to present that there's only one group people can trust. Hint, it isn't God or application of things He has created.

I'll try to report back when I'm done with a general review.

Garfield Keeps His Chins Up

Yes, I would recommend both of them. Even though I'm a dog lover and prefer the King James Bible, I find them very entertaining and mind stimulating. It goes like this... There is this cat you see... :D

Just finished reading Killing Stella by Marlen Haushofer , it's only just over 80 pages . Thoroughly enjoyed , Marlen is an excellent writer and I will b reading more of her books when I can . Going to look in the cupboard to c what I'm going to read next , we have literally hundreds of books .
 
Decided upon The Parasites by Daphne du Maurier , one of my favourite writers . It's quite long so I shall probably b reading it for a few weeks .

This is weird I collected at dozens of Garfield books, and had all the magazines, but NEVER have I seen a Garfield cookbook.

I even had this Magic Eye Garfield book

Either there is nothing to see on that cover, it doesn't work on computer screens or I'm old and just can't see the magic images anymore...
but boy do my eyes hurt now from trying.

Yes , she's an awesome writer but , my all time female author is Edith Wharton , have u read any by her ? Did u like ? I've read about half of her books I think . My favourites r House of Mirth and Summer .

In the day of Thy Power is a 1950's classic on Revival. Written just after the Hebrides Revival in Scotland, this book still carries an anointing upon it. He deals with what true revival is, its cost, how to prepare for revival and some of the pitfalls to avoid. This is the best book on the subject; I recommend it to one and all who are seeking something deeper from God.

Yes I've read House of Mirth. And Age of Innocence.
I think it's sort of similar story to Sister Carrie by Theodore Dreiser, which I found very sad.

It's been years since I've read those but I did read a lot of 19th century novels when I was studying English Literature at Uni.

I don't know if I have an all-time favourite female author, but I have read a lot of Margaret Atwood. My favourite is Cat's Eye.

Haven't read her but hubby has and likes her , so I will defo read her at some point , also love Iris Murdoch and Edna O Brien .
