I believe there is no life but on earth, angels, and God.

I think that one creation is enough for God and plenty of people and angels to fellowship with.

Also because God had to give us choice in order to have a kingdom of true love it has resulted in much chaos, hurt, suffering, and problems, which God probably would not want to do that again.

Because with choice comes pain.

Not to say God did anything wrong for we have the choice to turn to Him despite the chaos which matters and babies are innocent which their angels protect them spiritually.

But I believe God probably would not want to duplicate that again and one earth is good enough.

If there were aliens God would not allow them to come in contact with us because that would be a faith blower.

It is one thing to have faith dealing of this earth but for aliens to actually present themselves to mankind they would fall fast.

But if God did create other life out there it would be for the same purpose as on earth.

God is not going to say do what you want or not communicate at all and let them run all nilly willy in His domain.

At least it would not seem like it.

The new age believes aliens are going to intervene with mankind to help them to have peace, advance, and evolve to be spiritual.

Which they say return of the gods.

But they do not believe in a God on the level of fundamental Christianity.

But they honor the God of forces the power of the Cosmos.

They believe Lucifer is a god, and an alien, that gave mankind intelligence, and will come back to help mankind.

So their alien buddies are the fallen angels.

That is as close as they will get to an alien.

I do not believe there are other life forms on other planets.

But who knows for it is not like you can do a poll.

I read through the Bible and it is the same theme all the way through.

If there is an oopsy momement it would be so trivial as not to take away from the major, important, and necessary things, so there is no negative impact of it.

The Bible we have is plenty good for assurance of the truth.

Not to say there is contradictions.

1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Co 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Co 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Isa 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

What God did was give us a choice so we can choose the truth and allow the Spirit to lead us to have the mind of Christ.

Which no person would accept the truth unless God intervened in their life.

So no person has the logic to accept truth, and have understanding on their own pertaining to their salvation because in the flesh dwells no good thing.

God said let us reason together applies to people that made the choice to listen to Him but it is God's wisdom.

We do have a logical mind to accept the truth but only if God is working in our life when He calls us according to our heart condition.

But we can still accept the things of the Bible but without God we will not accept the truth to be saved.

This is the third post on this page I had not noticed. I was recovering from a long vacation trip on Monday.
Anyway, I agree with believing only humans and God exist, but I wonder about angels. As you said, who knows?
I also agree that most human suffering on earth during history is due to the human sin of not praying for God's will to be done.
I agree the Scriptures are plenty good or sufficiently true in order to reveal God's requirement for salvation (GRFS).
I agree that sinners have MFW, which enables them to sin, which all do, and to repent, which too few do.
I agree that a logical mind seeking truth will find God's truth/salvation. I call that logic the Propensity Principle (PP).

Musk owes nothing and has done no harm to either you or me. Thank God for the cold blood of engineers.

It has nothing to do with being an engineer, unless your desire is to re-engineering Gods created human beings like musks is.

It has a lot to do with what he does with the rewards of the engineering. He has chosen to accumulate incredible wealth while the suffering of others grows out of control. ( accumulating wealth while watching children suffer at the same time ) he will have to answer why he did that before God because he is an admitted atheist and views himself as a type of God, along with technology. The world admires him for being the richest man alive, while in Gods eyes he is seen as the most selfish man alive.

You may say he has helped suffering in the world by his tech, but if he is not in Christ, he is in satan, and he will do satans bidding, and he is.

There is a difference between making life bearable while we are here for this short time, verses extending life here as long as we can, because down deep we don't want to leave. His work is all about the re-engineering of the human being and extending life here by any means as long as possible, even if it means leaving earth to somewhere else.

He couldn't be further from biblical truth if he tried.

That is who trump called alongside himself.

Elon Musk gives to charity primarily through his personal non-profit, the Musk Foundation. While he has donated hundreds of millions of dollars, his philanthropic approach is frequently debated. Key details regarding his charitable giving include:
    • The Musk Foundation: His charitable organization focuses on pediatric health, STEM education, and disaster relief.
    • Self-Controlling Grants: The majority of his foundation's grants go toward his own personal non-profits—such as "The Foundation," which builds and operates STEM-focused primary and secondary schools in Texas.
    • Donor-Advised Funds: Musk has funneled tens of millions of dollars into donor-advised funds (DAFs) at organizations like Fidelity Charitable, which act as savings accounts for philanthropy without an immediate requirement to pay the money out.
    • Criticism: Musk has drawn criticism for sometimes falling short of the annual 5% distribution payout required by law for private foundations, and for directing his charity's funds toward ventures that often benefit his own family or corporate interests.
    • Musk's Perspective: Musk has expressed skepticism toward traditional philanthropy, stating that his primary businesses (such as Tesla's sustainable energy efforts and SpaceX's space exploration technology) are effectively philanthropic themselves.
To explore more about his foundation's tax records and specific grant recipients, you can review details on the Wikipedia Musk Foundation page or read breakdowns of his recent filings via Forbes.

Musk does not need your approval for what he does.

Question #2: Must we have an inerrant translation of the Bible in order to know God's Word?

My answer: Even if we had an inerrant translation, we would need an infallible interpretation, which not even a pope knows, so we must be content with believing that God has ensured we have very accurate translations that can provide us sufficient knowledge of His Will, especially regarding salvation.

Your answer?...
Yes, the Bible is inerrant. Jesus said it was, which is why I believe it. John 10:35

John 10:35 says Scripture cannot be broken, but it does not say the entire extant Bible is Scripture,
and there are good reasons to view some passages as uninspired, such as Mark 16:16-18.

Jesus meant that inspired prophecies would be fulfilled, and he broke many Scriptures (per the Pharisees) by applying them to himself, which shows that even if we had/have an inerrant Bible, our fallibility can/could not know what they meant with absolute certainty. We must depend on guidance of the Lord's HS to help us have a confident faith per sufficient understanding as we test everything in accordance with right reasoning aka hermeneutics. SPUR

It's a perspective from within Christ.

You have bigger problems if you can't see that.

Are you really pushing a Christian behavior from musk also gwh?

What happened to those who kept only one dollar?
Paul said people should give as the Lord leads them (2Cor. 9:7).
Discerning Christ's perspective necessitates harmonizing GW.

Agreed. But Jesus is speaking of the Bible as he knew it at the time. Peter, however, said that Paul's writings were Scripture.
and there are good reasons to view some passages as uninspired, such as Mark 16:16-18.
Yes, that is true. We should be careful to say that the original autographs are inspired and without error. As you have already said and I agree, we can't make the same claim about our translations.

I agree about HS guidance but even here, our claim is limited to a translation of the Bible we admit is not infallible.

The Bible is inerrant in its autographs, but that doesn’t mean we possess a mathematically certain, error‑free translation in every verse. Yet this is precisely where the analogy to cryptography helps. In cryptography, even if a single transmission is smudged or partially corrupted, the message can still be recovered because it appears redundantly across multiple signals. Scripture works the same way. God has woven His truth through many authors, genres, and centuries, repeating and reinforcing the core message so thoroughly that, with careful study, the original meaning can be reliably deduced. The redundancy of biblical revelation protects the integrity of the message, even when individual manuscripts or translations vary at points.

The harmonizing is as the result of a continually surrendered life, one like that will in different ways end up giving everything.

I just noticed this post. I like your pun re God being expensive rather than free.

Re Eden: God created the ability to sin as a theoretical option that actualized MFW, but humans actualized it by exercising faith wrongly.

Re killing: God gives everyone the opportunity to repent/be saved, and commands killing only when it is the appropriate consequence for capital crimes, such as murder and lying that is akin to murder per Jesus in John 8:42-44.

I see you affirm that God is free to change His will, and I agree, although He promises never to do so regarding righteousness: what is right (love of good & truth) and wrong (hatred of good & truth).
GWH
I present these answers only to illuminate that every Christian comes with customized Dogma's that equates to their theological lenses.

Honesty is important. If God did not "create" an entity separate and apart from Adam and Eve to "seduce" them to sin, then it leaves only two options. God+ created evil (satan) to seduce mankind fully knowing in advance the result. Given mankind had never heard anything but the "truth" of God+ before and never any such thing as information counter to God+ commands, what is the basis for their condemnation? Is it like giving a 3 yr old a loaded gun then being bitterly disappointed with the result. The second option is that God+ was powerless to prevent Satan's entry into the human experience. Which plays to the "Satan rebelled in Heaven from God" stories in the bible and Apropha.

Thus, I reject your assertion that man was made only with the ability to sin. To be honest to this story that is not an option. Without the purposeful introduction of the Woman to satan, who had no defense and no recognition of danger. In the story man was never tempted by evil, only the woman. The fall from eden was Eve's fault!

One might make the case this was written at a time (700 BC - 400 BC) when man had made a patriarchy of their religion where women were just property. They were old by their fathers to the highest bidder. They were owned by the purchaser under a system where men could have as many wives as they could afford and could fully and sinlessly avail themselves of prostitutes. Whoever, if a married women had sex outside her marriage she would be put to death. So historically, this was the emotional, theological and religious environment when Eve was deemed the one who "doomed" mankind. This gave justification for the eternal abuse of women by fully righteous men....the ultimate "she had it coming." If after the wedding night there was "insufficient" blood on the sheets, the husband had the right to return the woman to her father, collect all the bride price back, and be there when her father killed her. If she were raped in the city and nobody hear her "cry out" then she was put to death. If the rape happened in the country where nobody should hear her cry, she was deemed blameless but no man was guilty.

Even when God commanded the total massacre of all men women and children, God allowed the male victors the right to take the virgins (prepubescent) children as sex slaves for the rest of their lives.

Looked at it from one direction, this appears to be men inventing stories that justify their domination and subjugation of women in the Judean community. Kinda making "my will is God's will." But of course that is just one take on the garden story and subsequent framework of understanding.

Hate, slander, those things don't reside in me.

Slander: A false spoken statement that hurts a person's good name.

You slandered Musk when you stated the following as fact: "He's accumulating wealth while watching children suffer at the same time.".

You have no idea what he does/doesn't do in private. You have no idea how he feels. Unless he publicly states: "I love watching children suffer as I accumulate wealth", then your statement is false. When facts were shown to you that he does an incredible amount of charitable giving, you move the goal posts to "But... but... he's not christian and he doesn't give enough!".

Yeah, he's not Christian, but that doesn't make his charitable giving any less beneficial. While I disagree with Musk on some things, I'm thankful he helps others. Apart from charitable giving, he also employs thousands of people who are no doubt GRATEFUL for the opportunity and paycheck. Instead ranting against him because he's wealthy, how about praying he will one day respond to the gospel message. God may be moving in ways you don't even know.

Your focus on his money isn't a Musk problem. It's a you problem.

I did not know that cryptography uses a method similar to hermeneutics, so thanks for that comparison.

I think you got to this discussion late. It started by me and Gwh disagreement on if trump is Christian. Calling musk to his side is proof on where his priorities are.

I'm confident in my discernments but they are only for today. Trump and musk could taste that heavenly gift tomorrow, and my discernment would change also.

And we all watch children suffer while we accumulate wealth. The difference is I'm forgiven and do a little bit less of it everyday.

The spirits person judges all things and is under no mans judgment . That means I do see musk for who he truly is today, and I'm under no obligation to entertain your opinion about that.

If I were of the world, I would probably support musk like you are.

But I'm not!

Ephesians 6

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The harmonizing is as the result of a continually surrendered life, one like that will in different ways end up giving everything.

Although we accept Jesus as Lord, perfect surrender/giving/living will not be attained in this life Phil. 3:12),
and when resurrected, believers will gain everything (Rom. 8:22-25).
