I was thinking of a Simpsons theme restaurant where they serve edible flowers (Homer's secret shame) three eyed fish, steamed hams, Lisas thanksgiving mock turkey, and donuts. We'd have to travel to Springfield for that, though I don't really know where that is in the US. You will have to do another map for me, like you did when I asked where TN was.
Oh also..squishies made entirely out of syrup.

Or the Hello Kitty Cafe, me and Godsgirl83 will go to that.

Since we are going all out with our imagination, how about we book a private jet and fly to different countries for different meals of the day?

Correction: "Since we are going all in" 😄

I love breakfast and breakfast foods, but my main meal of the day is probably lunch and at about 2pm.

I'm partial to casual dining/diner, buffet, or even a coffee house.

When I go out to eat with folks I dress in smart casual apparel. I again refer back the pic of me in front of the dino, that's how I dress if whenever I'm going out to eat, to a museum, to a performance, to a holiday dinner, etc.

I like American, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, and I'd go for Greek too.

I love poppadoms, pakoras and the mango lassi to go with curry and rice.

I'd dress in a sari.

That's some good food you got there!

I am sure you'll look lovely in a sari. I rarely wear a sari because it takes time and effort for me as I am not an expert like my mother was.

Lol!!

WhangNoodles is pretty ingenius, @Lanolin! 🤣

And if Whangdoodles like brussel sprouts... I hate to admit it, but this MIGHT be their one redeeming quality. I can't say I'd have much against creatures that help save the world from the dreaded Brussel Sprout Scourge!

Just to be sure, we'll have to consult @CarriePie and @Charlesiii when coming up with a full menu.

Brussels sprouts are my favorite veggie lol  I prefer to roast them, so tasty.

If we go to a Greek restaurant, can we please smash some plates?
Also, can we dance on the tables like they did in Mamma Mia? That looked like so much fun.

If we go Italian, I'm up for stomping on grapes with my feet. Unless someone wants to turn water into wine, we'll have to make or bring our own.

AH HA!!!

This answers the long, deep-seated question that's been keeping me awake for countless nights...

HOW did our @CarriePie become THE Chieftess of Whangdoodle Extermination in the first place?!? After all, every good hero(ine) needs a good origin story!!

There must have been a time, long, long ago, when CarriePie was picking a basket of brussel sprouts... when a no-good Whangdoodle sprang out of nowhere, snatched the basket from her hand, and gleefully ran off -- with her hard-earned dinner!

And thus, CarriePie and Whangdoodles have been MORTAL ENEMIES ever since. 🤯

Uh oh.

If a Whangdoodles "vast riches" (as recalled by @Charlesiii) are actually BRUSSEL SPROUTS (that they vow to eradicate from the rest of the world)...

I just MIGHT be in danger -- of switching to the other team. 🥸

A dinner held at a special place, for a special occasion, or with a special theme is a fabulous idea!!!

I once went to a Murder Mystery Dinner, and would definitely go again.

Who's coming?! 🥸

(I like to say no one gets left behind, but hey, if YOU get chosen as the "victim" of the story -- sorry, but you're on your own.)

This sounds awesome, @Jesusgirl777!!

Back in college, I had a friend who was adopted from India. Her family always celebrated her adoption day, and took us out to an Indian buffet.

I can't remember what all I tried, but I would definitely be interested in learning more about Indian food!

Don't worry, I can't use chopsticks either!! I have always said that the reason Asian people are so small is because chopsticks only let you eat about 3 grains of rice at a time! 🤣

I'm Korean but am adopted and grew up in the USA, so a fork and spoon is my literal bread and butter. 😁

I love that you are so open to trying cuisines from around the world! 🌎

Thank you!

India is very diverse, and so is its food. A few examples:

North Indian: Butter chicken, tandoori chicken, Chole Bhature

South Indian: Dosa, Idli Sambar

West Indian: Vada pao, Dhokla

North East Indian: Smoked pork with bamboo shoot, khar, thukpa

Some months ago, I had a Korean hot dog but I am not so sure it was actually Korean! 😄

Maybe when we are out in this restaurant, we could try playing with chop sticks for 5 minutes 😁

Your joke about small Asians because of chopsticks was hilarious! I am South Asian if anyone at all thinks we are being racist 😅

And as always, we'll have to make sure our Official Safety Team, @Texasgal and @dkontner, examines all the restaurant furniture to make sure everything is secure.

I'm wondering if the following would get a pass...

(Why do I get the feeling most of these are going to get @dkontner in famous Mutley Stamp of Approval...)

First, I love your new avatar. 😍
1. What kind of meal will we be gathering for?
If I can only choose one, then I'll go with dinner. The hectic part of the day is done by then, and we can relax and unwind. Unless one of us is a mummy. Then, unwinding might be messy.
2. What kind of restaurant will we be going to?
This is a tough one. Normally, I would say buffet, but you gave the option of a food truck or street vendor, and I must confess that is very tempting. What the heck. I'm going with the food truck. Unless it's really hot outside. Then, the indoor buffet.
3. Speaking of attire, what kind of outfit will you be wearing?
Definitely casual.
4. And of course, the MOST IMPORTANT question of all -- what type of cuisine will we be eating?!
If it's a food truck, then Greek. If it's an indoor buffet, then definitely Chinese. Maybe Japanese.
5. Bonus question -- if we went to an Asian restaurant -- would you use chopsticks?!!
Nah. I'm a fork and knife kind of guy.

Wow Seoul you really outdid yourself with the craziness this time with those tables and chairs.

My suggestion of Cat Cafe has these tables

Your one is more like a desk...
