mm people don't always have to get back to you if they aren't sure about something.
I know that's annoying but some people just don't have closure skills, it's like say dumping someone, no way to reject someone without causing pain. So that's why people ghost.
Also sales people can hound people though they just doing a follow up call maybe.

Bosses often do this to their workers and its really annoying because they are the ones meant to have the responsibility and accountability to their underlings, otherwise the staff don't know where they at and are doing all this work for nothing. Bosses need to give feedback. A lot seem too busy to care.
when someone says, 'i''ll get back to you" or "i'll call you'"& doesn't, yes, it's definitely wrong. trio expect them to keep their word & respond. that simple. it's a worldwide epidemic! i invented a new phrase for people like that: "stoneghost"!

Well yea that happens a lot, like people forgetting to return their library books.
Would frustrate me, but people say a lot of things they don't mean, and they lie. I used to believe most people were honest, but they are not.

Jesus talked about that, keeping your word. Your word is your bond. You ought to just say yes or no. If you don't know you just say so. Or I'll think about it. People are busy, and forgetful though. I have to send reminders a lot.

don't be too soft on people. people just are nor responsible like they used to be. i remember the days, the 60's & 70's, where responsibility was of the utmost importance. in fact, when friends agreed to go out, they picked a time & if someone was only 5 minutes late, everyone else said, "wow, where is so & so, he's 5 minutes late". yes, it was a big deal when someone was late. & the tardy person actually apologized. no one apologizes anymore.

My dad still abides by those rules with me. It taught me to have great work ethic.

huh well a different world now. I was born after, and we have cellphones/smart phones so we can know where people are at.

It frustrates me when older people don't know how to use them, and make excuses that they can't txt, or call someone or organise their own social life, or understand how to use voicemail, or know they are not supposed to answer calls while driving at the same time unless its hands free.

People are late a lot because of traffic, but they do apologise, well to me they do. Then they learn to leave a leeway of 5-10 minutes before moving on. Most do text and say they are on their way, or running late.

So maybe you are being too hard on people, and expect your life to run like clockwork. You sound like you get really angry when it doesn't, and that can scare people away. Time is money! Hurry up sort of attitude. God reminds us to be patient. All good things come to those who wait and even Jesus was late sometimes.

Lazarus?

wait til you get older, little by little, you'll want to decrease learning, activities & such. i myself, do not care for modern world tech, it greatly reduces accountability & responsibility. NO, NOT HARD ON PEOPLE. ask any older person, today's lack of accountability, respect & all that has greatly diminished. did you read my other posting about people being late many decades ago? truly, that was the case. way back then if someone was late 5 minutes, it was a big deal. like, wow, what happened? but it's even worse: sometimes with people now-a-days, when you say something to them about being late, they get mad at you & say something like: "well, too bad, i changed my mind"! so that is supposed to be alright with everyone who he messed over? no, not with me. i move on & have nothing to do with that person. here's another for you, & we all have seen this many times: people get together & go out & dine. what's the 1st thing that happens? each person gets out their phones & starts playing on them. nobody talking to each other & such. that's absolutely terrible & disrespectful. awhile back, i took out my then g.f. to our 1st dinner. she brought her phone & i assumed she would start in with the phone when we sat down. sure enough, she did. i waited 5 minutes, nothing happened. now mind you, this was our 1st dinner date. i got up, started putting my coat on. she said, "what are you doing"? & i said something like: "i didn't ask you if you wanted to go out so we can play on our phones". she proclaimed that i was too tough on people but realized the truth. we enjoyed an 18 to 20 year relationship after that. in fact, just before she passed, she told our mutual lady friend that the best part of her life was spent with me!!!
Lanolin, i say to you, morals never change because society changes. blessings to you.

I agree with the cellphone thing. Rude.

I just don't speak up enough about it, and learn to let them be while avoiding them next time because it's not my role to correct people, otherwise I would be their teacher, when I am not.

Maybe if I was a parent, or a teacher, I would have authority to tell people what to do and control them.

So after all that, have you learned how to post a picture on here of yourself or just making excuses?
Come on, I did it.

Be brave.

Or don't follow my instructions cos I am not your teacher right?
