super! some great slogans of teaching
Why did you leave?today, i am being bombarded with texting by the bass player in my last band. the singer knows he erred greatly in wanting to control the band & he wasn't very experienced. too, he was a trouble maker. this is the 3rd time they want me back. i have seen some of the singer's projects after my band disbanded & it was awful. now, the bassist says he is in other projects but wants to reassemble but not be too serious. holy heavens!! alright, anybody just by an instrument & get in a band. that's all you have to do. WRONG!!!!
because the singer cheated by writing the lyrics on notebooks. when you read lyrics from a notebook or an ipad, you are looking down all night at the lyrics & not looking at the crowd. that is terrible for a live gig. there's no eye contact with the crowd. even worse than that, he forgot lyrics to every job we played!!! imagine that, he has cheat sheets & he still messes up. there's nothing worse than that. plus, he was a trouble maker. he got caught changing the set up after a soundcheck. Why did you leave?

Wow.
Maybe it's like a personal relationship.
What broke you up the first time is likely to do so again if you reconcile.
You had a different view of what it means to perform live before fans. A purist,in a sense. And good for you.
While your bandmates didn't seem to much and his, forgive the classic reference, cheap tricks.
They compromised.
What says they won't again?
My 2 cents. it's the singer who needs to reconcile. i told the bassist "no" twice. but he says, "if you change your mind, let me know". nope, not going to change my mind. what r u saying in your 6th statement? it is not clear.
if they got another band together i wouldn't see them if you paid me $100!Thanks.

i saw cheap trick in the early years, fine band they are.@Karlon , sure. My statement should have read as, While your bandmates didn't seem much bothered by his, forgive the classic reference, cheap tricks.
Cheap Trick was a classic rock band. Which is why I said, forgive the reference.
He is wrong in [at least] two ways:
He's speaking from a scientific standpoint. He is wrong in [at least] two ways:
1) We are not animals - God said so.
2) We are supposed to be "higher" than animals and have dominion over them.
