huh at my zoo, they have this, never knew, but $190 for a giraffe experience?! https://www.aucklandzoo.co.nz/giraffe-experience
Love giraffes, but can see and experience them without paying that much! At Gibbs Farm open day, which was free, got to feed giraffes and get up close with them, even touch them, but at zoo, it seems its extra?
Zookeepers talks also used to be free, you just needed to be around the time they had them.
The giraffe enclosure at the zoo has. boardwalk all around and you looking down on the giraffes, who also share the space with zebras. You can watch them at feeding time, since they can't graze trees being stuck in a zoo where any tree probably already be denuded, they had fake 'tree's with balls of hay hanging off them that the keepers stuffed with hay so the giraffes could reach them.
Well anyway, when I go I won't need to pay for a ticket as am able to get free pass. I'll probably buy something at the gift shop and leave a donation there to support the animals.
