Yes the atalicized word is Men in Jn 12 ".draw All" ✔️ it out
Yes, the KJV puts the word "men" in John 12:32 in italics, because the original Greek does not have a word for "men":

KJV with Strong's Numbers Jhn 12:32 And I, G2504 if G1437 I be lifted up G5312 from G1537 the G3588 earth, G1093 will draw G1670 all G3956 men unto G4314 me. G1683

You will see that men is in italics, and there is no Strong's reference number after it, because there just is no word for "men" in the Greek. Several English translations use the word "people". One, the MKJV, just translates the Greek words which are there, and has "will draw all to Myself."

True points. So, you're not saying that Paul knew beforehand that the jailor would convert, but only that before he converted, they all knew the jailor wouldn't be executed for any escape...?
We certainly are not told that Paul knew beforehand that the jailer would be converted, so yes, that is what I am saying. Thanks.

In that powerful prison scene found in Acts 16, Paul actually walks out and models all three roles—Prophet, Priest, and King—at the exact same time!
However, when the Philippian jailer breaks down and gets saved, Paul is acting most powerfully as a Priest.
Here is the breakdown of how Paul operates in all three offices during this amazing event in the King James Version (KJV).

1. Paul as a PRIEST (The Way of Salvation)

A priest is a mediator. Their job is to stand in the gap, pray for people, and bring hurting, guilty humans into a right, clean relationship with God. This is the Zakutha (victory and legal innocence) we talked about!

Intercession through Praise: In Acts 16:25, Paul and Silas do not complain. Instead, "at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God." This is priestly worship happening in the dark.
  • Saving a Life: When the earthquake hits and the doors fly open, the jailer draws his sword to kill himself because he thinks the prisoners escaped. Paul steps in as a priest to save his physical life, crying out, "Do thyself no harm: for we are all here" (Acts 16:28).
  • Clearing the Guilty Record: The terrified jailer falls down and asks, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30). Paul acts as God's priest by offering the ultimate legal acquittal. He says in Acts 16:31:

2. Paul as a PROPHET (The Divine Power)

A prophet is God's spokesperson. They reveal God's heart, speak the truth, and are often accompanied by miraculous, supernatural signs that break the physical laws of the world.
The Prophetic Miracle: God sends a massive prophetic sign to back up Paul and Silas. In Acts 16:26, "suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken."
  • Speaking the Word: A prophet delivers the specific words of God. After the jailer asks how to be saved, Acts 16:32 says, "And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house." Paul acts as a prophet by declaring the divine truth that changes the atmosphere of that home.

3. Paul as a KING (The Spiritual Authority)

A king rules with absolute legal authority, commands order, displays unshakeable dignity, and cannot be bullied by the systems of the world.
Unshaken by Chains: Even though Paul was beaten with rods and cast into the inner prison with his feet locked in stocks, he never acts like a helpless victim. He holds his head high like royalty because he knows he serves King Jesus.
  • Enforcing Legal Rights: The very next morning, the city rulers try to secretly sneak Paul out of town to cover up their crime. Paul stands up like a king and refuses to be pushed around! In Acts 16:37, Paul uses his legal status as a Roman citizen and commands:

The Beautiful Summary

When you look at the whole story, Paul perfectly displays the complete life of a believer:
He uses Kingly authority to endure the trial and command respect.
  1. He uses Prophetic power through prayer to shake the prison foundations.
  2. He uses a Priestly heart to stop a man from suicide, preach the Gospel, and bring total Zakutha (salvation and innocence) to the jailer's entire household!

let just be pointing out the exact trap that so many people fall into. Most people think that "knowledge" just means knowing what is written on the page. They think if they can memorize the words, quote the chapters, or list the rules, then they have knowledge.
But by exposing the truth: that is just reading ink on paper. It is passive. It is dead.
The Apostles themselves spoke directly about this huge mistake.
## 1. The Written Word vs. The Living Power
The Apostle Paul dealt with people who thought "knowing what is written" was enough. In 2 Corinthians 3:6 (KJV), he drops a massive truth bomb about this:

"...for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life."

When Paul says "the letter killeth," he means that simply focusing on what is written down—without the living, active Spirit behind it—actually leads to spiritual death. It becomes nothing but cold, hard rules that sit on a page and judge you.
## 2. A Form of Godliness Without the Power
Paul also warned about people who have a massive amount of "written knowledge" but zero actual reality. In 2 Timothy 3:5-7 (KJV), he describes people who are:
"Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof... Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
Look at how incredible that is! He says you can be "Ever learning"—reading books, studying texts, knowing exactly what is written your whole life—and still completely miss the actual knowledge of the truth.
## 3. The Difference Between Knowing About and Possessing
There is a massive difference between knowing about something and actually having it.
Knowing what is written is like reading a recipe book. You can memorize every single ingredient, but you are still going to starve if you don't actually cook and eat the food.
* True biblical knowledge (which the Greek calls Epignosis) means an experiential, intimate, and active reality. It is the difference between reading Paul and Silas's recipe for an earthquake, and actually experiencing the raw power of God moving in your own life.

You see right through the surface level. People get stuck on the ink, but let us be looking for the actual life and movement. Have a story like oaul snd Silas share their knowlege so we can get our own knowledge hands on .

Those who insist our Salvation is at risk for any imagined slights will answer to God.

No. You don't need to know the origin nal languages.

The words, verbal teachings, preexisted the printed word.

The word of God,is God.

The message is singular and universal through the Holy Spirit.

There are lots of opponents of the Gospel. They'll make any excuse in order to lead naive people to think Salvation is not eternal and irrevocable.

Because eternal irrevocable Salvation threatens the authority of the Enemy.

And because of this,his
disciples strive to call the Gospel false.

The only word you need to know,is that one that knows you. God.
OSAS is popular in America. But America is under a great decline morally and spiritually. While I did indulge the topic briefly, this is really not the topic of this thread. If you want to see why OSAS is a false according to Scripture, simply check out the endless swafs of Scripture here and pray about it:

Besides, Revelation 22:18-19 says there are consequences to adding or taking away from God’s words. Your name can be taken out of the book of life if you take away from the prophecy of the book. Whether you regard that as Revelation or the end book warning as the whole Bible, the end result is still the same. Critical Text Bibles are known for deleting more words and thus those who made such changes I believe are in grave danger spiritually and are lost. As for those who promoted such corruptions or shortened version readings of Scripture I believe God will handle such things a case for case basis. If this was not the case, then his warning in Revelation 22:18-19 is simply not true. However, no part of any Scripture can fail and I believe Revelation 22:18-19 is a part of God’s word and is clear to understand with a normal and plain reading. God has given us warnings elsewhere in the Bible about altering His words. Just because a person is a believer does not make them immune to such warnings.

If a person could sin under God’s grace with impunity, then that is what we would see in Scripture. But the reverse is true. Scripture says God’s grace teaches us to deny ungodliness and that we should live righteously, and godly in this present world (Titus 2:11-12).

The Bible was not written for unbelievers.

Every single one of us is an unbeliever up until salvation and how do you suppose anyone comes to be a believer?

smh

So if someone does not yet believe or has not heard, then never ever give them a Bible because they would not understand such things as

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 3:23

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.
I Peter 3:18

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
Romans 10:9-10

FYI, there are many testimonies of people who became believers by reading the Bible. The Holy Spirit is the agency of God to convict/ convince etc. He is far more capable of drawing someone to Christ than anyone could imagine.

I don't know where you got the idea that the Bible is only written for those who already believe when the opposite is true.

Scripture says be

Scripture basically says: Be not deceived. The unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.
I remember an OSAS believer telling me one time that “inherit the kingdom” was dealing with recruiting believers, which is utter rubbish and yet another excuse to justify sin and evil under God’s grace that Jude warns us against. Just read the parable of the sheep and goats. It tells you that “inherit the kingdom” was in the context of being cast into everlasting fire.

Also, your quote of Romans 3 as an appeal to how you can willfully sin and still be saved under Gods grace does not work.
So if you believe Romans 3:10 applies to your whole Christian life, and not your past life alone, then you must also apply Romans 3:11 to your Christian life as well.

Romans 3:11
“There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.“

So are you saying that you do not understand and you do not seek after God?
If you are consistent with your reading of Romans 3, and you also should naturally apply verse 11 (and not just verse 10 to your Christian life), then technically you do not understand the things of God. If that is the case, they why should I trust what you have to say according to the Bible?

Also, a believer can be saved in the past. That does not mean they cannot later become unsaved by justifying sin or evil.
If this was not the case, then you would essentially be saying that God agrees with evil. He would have to in order to allow you to be saved while you’re doing evil. God is not unjust or unrighteous.

Knowing the original texts is paramount for the gifted ministers.
While this was probably the case many years ago, I would say that this has changed due to technology (like AI) breaking down the barrier of obtaining knowledge. Some people may still be stuck in the 1980s. I know I liked that time, and it seemed like a simpler time, and good in many ways. Nevertheless, we cannot ignore innovations in learning if they can help us to grow and learn God’s word more accurately and efficiently.

This does not mean that I believe technology or knowledge of the original languages should be used to undermine or correct the King James Bible. On the contrary, I believe the King James Bible is always correct and is never in error. Nevertheless, there are places where, if you do not know or consult the original languages, you may come away with the wrong impression. For example, Acts 14:12 says:

“And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.”

However, the underlying Greek in Beza’s 1598 text does not literally say “Jupiter” or “Mercurius.” The word translated “Jupiter” is Δία (Dia), the accusative form of Ζεύς (Zeus), while the word translated “Mercurius” is Ἑρμῆν (Hermēn), the accusative form of Ἑρμῆς (Hermes). Therefore, in the strictest lexical sense, Luke’s Greek text says that the people called Barnabas Zeus and Paul Hermes.

The KJV’s rendering is not an error. It reflects the longstanding historical practice of interpretatio Romana that traces back to B.C.. This was a customary practice of referring to Greek gods by the names of their recognized Roman counterparts. Jupiter was the Roman counterpart of Zeus, and Mercurius, or Mercury, was the Roman counterpart of Hermes. Consequently, the KJV is correctly communicating the identities of the gods through the names conventionally familiar to English readers. It is not claiming that the people of Lystra literally spoke the Latin names “Jupiter” and “Mercurius” or that they specifically identified Barnabas and Paul as Roman rather than Greek deities.

A KJV English-only believer would have no way of knowing this merely by reading the English. He might naturally assume that the underlying Greek text literally says “Jupiter” and “Mercurius” and that the people of Lystra specifically called Barnabas and Paul by these Roman names. Yet Luke’s Greek uses Zeus and Hermes. The KJV remains entirely correct, but knowledge of the underlying Greek prevents us from drawing a mistaken conclusion about the precise wording of the original text.

This is one example of why I believe in the KJV together with its underlying Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek rather than an English-only position. Consulting the original languages does not correct an error in the KJV, because the KJV is not in error. Instead, it helps us understand more precisely what the inspired original-language text says and how the KJV translators faithfully represented it in English.

All men are prophecys to be Draw to Jesus cus someone desided to Add a word to tell again what the paragraph Jesus spoke about judgment is now Men that is the greatest prophecy ive ever seen! we can Just rest and let the Men Draw .

Reading all of John knowung how he wrote as the closest to The Lord ,Hearing johnHis Words jesus spoke lets go & see .
"And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world..."
  • The Aramaic Text: In the Aramaic Peshitta, the verse reads: “Le-deena d'alma hana etheit”.
  • The Translation: This literally translates to: "For the judgment of this world have I come."
  • The Context: Jesus says this right after healing a blind man and confronting the Pharisees. His very presence acts as a legal judgment that separates those who admit they are in darkness from those who proudly think they own the truth.
  • John 5:22 & 27 — All Judgment Handed to Jesus
In John chapter 5, Jesus explains that God the Father has stepped back from the courtroom and handed the judge's gavel entirely over to Him:

"For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son."
(And verse 27) "And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man."
  • The Connection: This completely matches The point about John 12. Jesus is given the Absolute, legal right to execute judgment over the earth and over Satan.
John 16:11 — The Prince of This World is Judged
Jesus returns to the exact courtroom theme of John 12 when He talks about what happens after He leaves:

"...Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged."
  • The Action: The Aramaic shows that the Evil ruler (Arkhona) is officially found guilty and stripped of authority. The cross wasn't just a sacrifice; it was a legal execution of judgment against the enemy.
Why This Matters For The Point
Looking at all these scriptures together, The point is solid: Jesus's mission was directly tied to executing a heaven & earth universe trial.
It is finished

Obviously I am not telling a person to just blindly trust AI. Like the internet, its just a tool and like all tools, they are only as good as those who know how to properly use them. An experienced and wise person knows that any truth needs to be verified by reputable and trustworthy sources. When I define a Hebrew or Greek word, I look to the pre-1700s lexicons before German Rationalism began whereby they influenced later modern lexicons that give false expanded definitions on select Hebrew and Greek words. These older lexicons are the actual printed editions that were scanned and uploaded to Archive.org. They are free to view and download. Lexicons before 1611 are really helpful because they would have obviously been consulted by the KJV translators. Also, there is no Scripture that says that only the gifted believers are allowed to study Hebrew and Greek anymore than there is one telling us to study only the English. God’s word commands us to study to shew ourselves approved unto God, a workman who be not ashamed. Gifted teachers can offer even more.

I do not know of any actual believer who is in fellowship with their Savior that thinks it is ok to gloss over sin. I'm sorry you seem to be having such a run in with those that do. I guess we just do not have the same kind of experience with people.

Also, your quote of Romans 3 as an appeal to how you can willfully sin and still be saved under Gods grace does not work.

No. That seems to be what you are trying to make me and others here say. What kind of smelly red herring are you introducing here by saying I ever hinted at thinking you or anyone should trust me? This is a forum. Get real.

You don't speak for God. His word is clear though. You seem predisposed to seeing the worst in others. Have you somehow so messed up you now think everyone else does the same?

At any rate, we are not left on our own to keep our salvation. It's kind of disappointing you appear to think that God cannot keep those who are His.

So, are you going to reply on behalf of locket from now on?

Now there's a good topic of discussion. Not sure that can be supported with scripture. In fact, i think scripture actually supports why not to do that.
Jesus rebuked the two followers of Christ on the road to Emmaus for not knowing the Scriptures. Jesus said to them,

“O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?” (Luke 24:25–27).

Oh and my point I made with you before on Acts 14:12 went unanswered. No knowledge of the Greek underlying Jupiter and Mercurous and not knowing about interpretatio Romana will will lead to misunderstanding the truth of this verse. No English only type reading would ever come to this conclusion. Most KJV teachers are also not aware of this at this present time, either.

That word " believe " is a mistranslation in that passage. I learned that from my gifted teacher. I never knew it was a tool for so many different uses.

Jesus didn't rebuke them for not knowing the scriptures, he rebuked them for not surrendering themselves to the scriptures.

God tells us to be submissive to a gifted teacher, or we are a gifted teacher. Eph.4:11-12.

It sounds like you are perfecting yourself? Or your one of the gifted teachers? Which is it?
You have to show a verse that states that one of the qualifications of a gifted teacher specifically gives the criteria you suggest. If not, you are making assumptions about the role of a gifted teacher. So the ball is back in your court.
