Im so confused right now, what am i doing that makes you think im a bot?

@OMC
Your profile says you are not married. But you just mentioned your wife???
Im not Legally married. That would have been misrepresenting my status. We dont have a license. But we have been together for over 30 years.

If you don't mind me asking, have you ever committed to a local church in the past 30 years?
In USA, there are many states recognizing common law marriage, usually 7 years .

I don’t go to any church per se, for obvious reasons, and yes, we are recognized as common law. But I’ve been down this road before on a singing app the wife and I joined regarding “status.” I just don’t want a repeat or to be accused of misleading, but it seems that’s happened anyway, so what now?

Sorry I didn't mean to dig into your privacy. Because someone said you are a bot, so I looked.

Anyway put that aside, you never go to , involved in any church? Obvious reason is your disability? Or church is bad?

Lol, so far I’ve been an AI and now downgraded to a bot… fun. Anyway, when it comes to church, I’ve said before that I build all my theology directly from the biblical text itself—letting its grammar, historical context, and the scripture shape every conclusion instead of relying on any external system or tradition. This usually doesn’t end well in conversations with preachers.

Did you use AI to write some of your posts, that could be the reason for someone becoming suspicious. If you let AI draft something, even if you tell it what to write, it is going to register as having been written by AI.

What about scripture telling believers not to stop gathering?
What about holy convocation?

I was asked this when I first arrived, I said I use a speech to text program. Is that an AI?

Is that not what I am doing? Fellowshipping with all of you?
Stay behind a screen and in person is different.

For example, if in person, a biblical church will not allow a man and woman cohabitation.

I am not chastising you, I am saying only in person gathering, can iron sharpen iron.

Gathering looks different for me now, but the command of Hebrews 10:25 still stands. I can’t physically join the assembly, yet I refuse to forsake it. Instead, I stay connected through whatever means God provides—phone calls, prayer chains, shared study, and the quiet but real communion of the Spirit with the Body. Holy convocation isn’t just about being in a building; it’s about entering the shared life of God’s people. So even from my chair, even within my limitations, I still participate. I still listen. I still pray with and for the saints. I let the Body strengthen me, and I strengthen them in return. My disability may confine my body, but it does not confine my obedience, fellowship, or devotion to the assembly God calls His people into. " Its all good" as the kids say lol.

"entering the shared life of God’s people. " this i agree.

On internet anonymous is not shared life. Unless you have a group that really know each other.

The question is if you are dictating your posts and the computer is simply taking dictation, no. But if you are telling AI what you want to say and it drafts the writing, then yes.

Perhaps. However, every time you celebrate the Lord's table it renews the covenant with the Lord. Now if your wife goes to the church meeting and brings home the bread and wine for you, that would be part of that.

I have studied the Bible much more intensively than most Christians that are in the church congregations, even for those who are very active in serving the Lord. But I realize the church is there to feed the Lord's sheep. The topics I have studied in depth are not the burden of caring for the sheep, the new believers, the families that need care, etc. You can be a Phd professor at college and at the same time have a family and small children at home that you spend time with. We need both.

No, it simply dictates what i say and fixes my grammer.

Agreed, my wife and I live happily. Our children are grown and live in different states, except for one daughter who runs a yoga studio and has two young ones with a third on the way 😊😊. My wife goes to visit on occasion. No one comes here because, frankly, my strict adherence to the text has led to a few less-than-quiet moments. I expected nothing different once everyone saw I didn’t take sides in any camp. Your concern is warm and heartfelt, but I assure you I am fine.

Can you give me an example of how your strict adherence repels people?

For example, I am very strict about Christmas, I will not do anything that could be construed as participating in the celebration of Christmas with trees, and all the other stuff surrounding the holiday. However, I do not impose that on anyone else. I was taught to be strict with ourselves and general with others.
