When I read all these passages together in a strictly text‑first way, I do see that Jesus speaks of a future Elijah who will restore all things, and every one of the “until” statements you listed points forward to a future moment when Israel’s blindness ends, Jerusalem’s trampling stops, the nation blesses the Messiah’s return, and the kingdom is finally restored to Israel; the crucifixion didn’t accomplish national salvation at that time, but it initiated a prophetic countdown in which each “until” marks a stage leading toward a future restoration exactly as Jesus, Peter, and Paul describe.
Nothing could be more obvious.
So then ask yourself why the supersessionists willfully choose to deny and dismiss these crucial milestone statements?
I mean, there are just so many and so tightly knit together. Right?

Was this in the Holy Land itself? Or have the dead sea scrolls allowed out in museum exhibits, like travelling exhibitions.

Have you been inside a synagogue, maybe as a guest? They have the Torah in a special cabinet, covered in cloth, with lights on etc. I've only ever seen them in photos or in movies i.e one movie I saw was about a bar/bat mitsvah, and the girl was going to do a scripture reading in Hebrew in front of the assembly/congregation, and she had to learn it before her big ceremony.

Jesus definitely read from Isaiah in the synagogue when he had his turn...

Yes, they do allow parts of the Scroll to travel. There were other antique Bibles and a printing press was set up. I haven't been in a synagogue but I would go if someone invited me, for sure. I love history and I've gone through old mansions, forts, log cabins, any place considered historic in my travels I will visit. I've seen some unique places and items.

Alright so when is the times of the gentiles fulfilled? It says the Jews are scattered UNTIL that time occurs. Isn't it occuring now when they are returning? Or maybe it is talking about the second coming, the ultimate regathering of all God's people.

The time of the gentiles refers to when the gentiles were allowed to trod the city of Jerusalem.... time, times, and half a time; or 1260 days, or 42 months, or 3-1/2 years.

The destruction of the temple confirms the change from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant.

AI is not your problem sister, understanding how its used and its limits are. educate yourself. Your fear is misplaced.

As I said, there are no rules against it. There is no reason for anyone to be against it, but if they are that's their problem, not yours.

I think supersessionists ignore these tightly connected “until” and “restore” statements because their system forces them to dismiss what is textually obvious—Scripture repeatedly affirms a future national restoration of Israel that they simply cannot allow.

Yeah everyone has thier theory I remember hearing that one in the seventies …,

Wonder what the apostles thought about these things ? They wrote a lot some of you should read before becoming experts on the subject …. But honestly not many here seem interested in what the bible says about things

Why would the Apostles care? Jesus told them that they would all become Judges and judge over the 12 tribes of Israel during His Millennial Kingdom reign in Matthew 19:28 and Luke 22:29-30.

I've read and understood your posts, but when Jesus returns to earth the Bible tells us that He will be returning with ALL OF HIS SAINTS, which includes us. He will be King and Lord over ALL while on the earth during His Millennial Kingdom reign.
The Bride enjoys the status of a wife. Not a subject.
Again, the NT never, not once, denotes Christ Jesus as King of the Christians.
Never not once. This by intentional design.

2Co 11:2
For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

Eph 5:33
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Rev 5:10
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Wasn't it the Vatican maybe was deemed the 'New Jerusalem' after all those churches of the RCC are worldwide now. And the Pope is like the 'Vicar of Christ'

The reason why it was perpetuated was not many people were allowed to read the Bible in their own languages back then so lots of passages were just ignored.

If you knew Latin you could but its now a 'dead' language.

And also, OT was orginally in Hebrew and NT in Greek (as is obvious) so the different translations or translations of translations could be interpreted differently.

That's why we are in this mess today.

Not fear. Just dislike.

I have no fear of plastic furniture, just dislike.

But I do not 100 percent refuse plastic furniture. Some occasions I do use them.

Do you remember what parts of the scroll you saw, was it a particular book, like Genesis or Isaiah? Or Psalms?

Thank you for your opinion.

For those who loves ai, please enjoy.

To each its own. Enjoy 😉

I use AI for work, my son has a PhD in neuroscience and uses AI quite a bit in the medical field for diagnosis where it does have useful applications but he also affirms AI is not without consequences on the brain and its neuron-connectivity.

And last time I used AI I was a real person too...lol

I think the confusion you’re describing really does come from the historical fact that for centuries ordinary believers couldn’t read Scripture for themselves, since the RCC restricted access to vernacular Bibles and tied authority to Latin—a language most people didn’t know—so ideas like “the Vatican is the New Jerusalem” or the Pope as “Vicar of Christ” spread simply because people had no ability to check the text; once Scripture became available in Hebrew and Greek again, and translations were made directly from the originals rather than from Latin, it became obvious that New Jerusalem is a heavenly city from God, not an earthly institution, and that many doctrines developed during the medieval period were the result of translation layers, ecclesiastical control, and the absence of direct access to the biblical languages.

Was the ark of the covenant in the temple at the time it was destroyed?

It has been destroyed a few times though. When it was rebuilt, was the ark returned? If it wasn't then what was there? An empty space??

You must have forgotten that Jesus told His Disciples that they would all become Judges judging over the 12 tribes of Israel during the earthly Millennial Kingdom period. We aren't all just given the role of a bride only.

Does this have some connection to dispensationalism being wrong?

A classic dodge from the truth, but that’s alright—I’m not giving up, because you’re worth it.

I'm pretty sure I read that some people want to rebuild the temple to original glory but how can they do that if what was INSIDE the ark is now disappeared.

They can't somehow recreate the OG Ten Commandments on the stone tablets, the rod and the jar of manna, it would just be a replica and not the original.

The ark was so precious that anyone who touched it would instantly die.

no idea...just asking for a friend.

She really wants to know.

Some people say it got moved to Ethiopia but I find that hard to believe.
